I'm just excited to be going. Way too many things to say something's my favorite ;).

Oh and it's my 7th trip.

Stayed up to 11 last night and got Anna & Elsa FP for June 8 for 4 people at once. I wasn't sure how the whole thing worked but it was pretty easy and I was done in three minutes. That said, I just selected A&E, and took the suggested other FP with it- figured I'd worry about changing those later. So I don't know if that will work as slick.

But, I've got A&E FP and a BOG reservation. Feeling pretty accomplished.

This weekend the girls will help me decide on the rest of our FP.

So excited! :cool1: I originally had an A&E Fastpass at 10:40 on June 9th. I logged on last night and was able to change it to a 9:05 time. I was really worried about how long the wait would be with a 10:40 slot. This is our last day, and I really want to take things easy. Meeting Anna and Elsa will be a nice way to start.

I have yet to figure out this fp+ copy and paste thing for our group. :confused3 I guess I better do some more research. I only have a couple more weeks before I can start making the fp+ reservastions! :cool1:

I am becoming less and less worried about this whole fastpass+ thing. I have an annual pass, and even though it is a Spring Break season, there are only a few things I can not get a fastpass for. It is past 10AM there and I still have many options. I am checking today and tomorrow and only the parades/shows and meet-and-greets are getting filled up. As long as those are booked 60 days in advance, it looks like everything else can be added later. Time to see what characters we won't see through character dining. :-). The fireworks dessert party is looking like it is worth the money too.

:welcome: ashleighbass06, wishes0813, & softballmom3!

Super excited!!!!!!!! For my 6th wedding anniversary my husband has went above and beyond:lovestruc. Originally we were to stay at AOA June 1-8 :thumbsup2however, he has changed it. We are checking in June 8-11 to YC Club Level:love: and Checking in to a 1 bedroom Lake View at BLT from June 11-15:worship::worship:. I Can't wait!!!!!!!!! I am looking for recommendation for nice restaurant that has a good rib-eye steak for the hubby for our anniversary dinner (we will be kid free):woohoo::woohoo:

Sounds exciting! Got you updated on post 1! :thumbsup2

Just booked June 15-19 at Pop for my birthday and I cannot wait! Our last trip was only one day on January 2, 2011 and I have been dying to get back home! DH is not a big disney fan (Although he gets mad when I tell people that. He says he's likes Disney he's just not as crazy a fan as I am) so I'm doing most of the planning, and I'm ok with that. The other day I asked him if he thought we should get refillable mugs' you should've seen the look he gave me :lmao:! Then he said, why don't we wait till the trip is a little closer to make those kind of decisions ;) So excited to be planing with all of you!

The school nurse where I work is also going the same time we are. When I found out a couple of weeks ago, I asked her what parks on what days. She said they don't plan things out like we do...which is, of course, why we had BOG dinner ressies last year and they didn't. :rotfl:

Will be at AoA with my family June 8-14. DH, DS16, DD15, DS9, and DM(om). ( I am the step mom). Getting super excited!

:hippie: Welcome! We're all excited too! :hyper:

Hmm. Softball, eh? Enjoying the season? Play with school or rec league or travel ball? I had to work a softball game at my school on Monday, and the girls got smashed. 15 - 3 in the 4th inning. But, the other school is good and I think they always have been. In the past, we've had issues with girls trying out, making the team, then quitting. They are getting better and got to go to regionals in Mobile last year. Hoping for some positives, but if they keep getting major, have to have surgery-type injuries... :worried:

Any of our Alabama peeps going to the Biscuits game in Montgomery today? I'll be there, in section 104!

For anyone who doesn't know, the Biscuits are our minor league baseball team....and their mascot is an anteater. I am STILL trying to figure that one out...

We will be there from June 29th to July 5th staying at Bonnet Creek. Can't wait!! Have so many ressies already it's been 7 years since we went! My dd was only 11 months old!! It's going to be a huge surprise for her she has been pleading with us to go! Any ideas on making it extra special for her??? :goodvibes

I am from Wetumpka! Not going to the game but I agree, I have always wondered about the mascot.

My DH is from Alabama and we long distance dated for a while. I LOVE the Biscuits and had so much fun at their games! Our minor league here (the Frisco Roughriders) is not nearly as fun. I miss going! Saw the Rays played there the other day. Would have loved to see that!

I've scheduled FPs. I noticed Maelstrom was never on the list as an option...anyone have Maelstrom first part of June? Not sure I really want it, but it still was odd.

Had no idea what to get at HS after TSM and Star Tours, so we have Indiana Jones. Don't think we need that, but we don't do Tower or Terror and no one cares about the Great Movie Ride.

Otherwise, I think our plans look pretty good.

We have the same three scheduled for HS on June 3! It is just my son (7) and I and I can't get him on TOT or Rockin RC yet!

Not on the topic of FP+, but have a question for the regular June visitors. They have already adjusted the park hours for June to extend them. I get to book FP+ in 2 weeks so we are fine tuning our itinerary. Should I expect more changes or is it pretty much set, give or take the odd tweak here and there? It won't have a big impact on our plans but if hours are added and we plan on closing a park at night, it might affect the way I pace us through the rest of the day. 73 days to go :cool1:

Great question; we are 77 days out, 17 to FP+ booking. I'm very interested in the answer.

They changed the hours? To open earlier? I always thought 9am was pretty late opening for summer. Is Epcot open later? 9pm seemed early to close. Where is a good place to see the hours? My laptop died and I'm still putting things on my new one. I know I had a good bookmark for a place but don't know what it was.

They changed them back in February. The opening hours generally stay the same (exception being MK during Easter week) but they extended the closing hours. So if you're checked over the last 6-8 weeks they are still the same. However, no matter when we've gone, it's been common for the hours to be tweaked a few weeks or even days before we arrive and we have had extensions to the closing times of DHS which came into effect even after we've arrived before. It won't affect our FP choices or the parks we visit as I'm done with changing my plans every time there is a new announcement :rotfl: It was really just to factor in a break if need be where we might not have had one. There is a difference between being at a park for 12 hours and being there for 16 hours, if you know what I mean.

I'm counting on the Summer Veterans to educate me here.

Only thing I think is "crazy" is the time you picked -- the closer it gets to July 4th, the more crowded it gets, and I've heard of the parks getting filled to capacity on the 4th. If you've included a "down day" in your plans, that would be the day I'd pick...and go checkout what it looks like to see the fireworks from the beach at the Poly or something like that.. OR I'd avoid MK like the plague. OR, if neither of those are an option, get to MK early and don't leave. Perhaps someone who has been during that time will say something, too. Latest in June we've stayed is, like this time, checking out on the 28th.

I am from Wetumpka! Not going to the game but I agree, I have always wondered about the mascot.

Last night, they announced the name of the NEW mascot to be side-kick to Big Mo (the anteater...): a mini potbellied piglet named Miss Gravy. (Biscuits & Gravy...) We only stayed until halfway through the game, too. At 9, they were at the bottom of the 4th inning, and I kept thinking of that hour and a half drive home. We headed out for the Shoppes at Eastchase and Red Robin, and it was still close to 11:30 or later before we left Montgomery!

I tell you, last year when we camped out on the field was a completely different experience! It didn't matter when the game was over (after 11, I now realize!), then fireworks. Then everyone else left, and it was just Girl Scouts. We set up our tents on the field, and watched Wreck It Ralph on the jumbotron. It had to be 1:30 or 2 before we could sleep, and wake up call was at 5. (Have to be out of the stadium by 7!) I'm glad we didn't do all that this time, with the rain and bad weather coming, but I still missed the experience!

Biscuits vs Birmingham Barons. Biscuits won, 14 - 7! If they shot biscuits into the stands last night, the girls were too busy playing on the playground/inflatables, so we missed most of the half of the game we stayed for. :rotfl:

We've been going in the summer since 2009, and I can't remember them making too many other time changes. I mean, they ALWAYS extend the times for MK (especially pm EMH) as it gets closer. You can guarantee a 1 pm close for that. Wishes is pretty much always at 10. Etc. However, we've never paid too much attention to the time because we make ADRs 6 months in advance, and once we've done that, those are what parks on what days. We've had a trip or two in which we have TOTALLY avoided EMH hours, and it was just by chance. You can generally guarantee we will be in EP on my birthday and MK on DD's (although we did AK for mine one year and are probably going to Blizzard Beach this year for hers). Everything else is pretty much up in the air from year to year. (Yeah, I know...no help from me!)

Oh, ok. No, I've checked in the last several weeks. I was looking at Epcot only open from 9-9 and thinking there isn't really time for an afternoon break if we decide to stay at Epcot that day and not parkhop. I really didn't know what I was doing when I made ADRs in Dec. and I still don't. I had to pick something so I went with Josh's park recommendations which avoid EMH. So I'm torn if I did the right thing, or if we should go to morning EMHs. There are a few things we can tweek around but not much.
