Yes, I finally got it!! Thanks for your help:worship: I'm excited, and my DD told me she had a dream come true!! She dreamed about WDW last night:cloud9:[ I'm sure I will have more questions for you.:) Thanks again for your help
I see you got it to work! :) Sorry I couldn't help you on that part. Am computer illiterate for most things. :upsidedow Have to get DD or DH to get me thru things I find difficult.
Good Luck and fun planning!:p

All plans are set for us! Did a day-trip to MK yesterday and now can't way for 5 nights at the Grand in June!

Hi! What month were you planning on going?

Booked right now for July...going to do some Disney math tomorrow on my day off and see what our options are (and pricing for all) before proposing a switch to DH! :-)

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Dinner Reservations any suggestions??? I have one more left to plan, but its for our last night, and I want it to be really fun for my daughter. We already have char. lunches and dinners with the Princesses and Sophia the first.

Hoop Dee Doo is a ton of fun! We also like Whispering Canyon. Do you have 1900 Park Fare for dinner? The step sisters are a hoot!

Oh, well that would be exciting to move your trip up! Good luck!

Hey, all!

I'll be trying to get post #1 updated before the evening is over!

I have excuses...my computer crashed. My brother said it sounded like the hard drive was dying, and I think he was already in the process of finding one he could install. I was like...this thing is still under warranty! Dell can fix it; I'm not putting one dime into it while the warranty is still good! (He's only every bought from a big box store, so he's not familiar with this idea that there is a warranty past 90 days or so.)

We sold cookies. Like, we set up at Walmart from 6-8 Friday night and sold 70 boxes in that two hour time span. Then, we went up the road to Troy yesterday and sold 193 boxes in 6 hours. It's not the record-breaking that girl did setting up outside the potshop in California or Colorado or wherever, but we'll take the 263 cookies in two days! My DD is now over 900 boxes -- less than 100 to the next recognition level. I wish we could get to 1,500, because there's a pearl necklace involved, but we'll set that as our goal for next year!

I also came home yesterday with a nice sunburn. (:furious: (The flame is appropriate....) I'll need to find the sunscreen for next weekend...because we're going to do it again.

So...I'll be up and sorting and updating and whatnot within the next however long it takes me to read from wherever I left off... :) Spring break is only 1 week away! Yay!

Well they saw DD waiting and the princesses brought DD into the meeting area, gave her extra attention and then each took her by the hand and around to two trick or treat stations and loaded up her candy bag. It was pure Disney Magic!!

What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Watching my DD face light up when she experience WDW!

We took my DD when she was 4. And, yes, she DOES remember!

I am SO excited. As of 3 days ago my sister and I are OFFICIALLY returning to WDW!!! :cheer2:

Our last (and first) visit was two years ago in the middle of july... not only did we survive the july heat/crowds, we loved it! We are going the very first week of june (my 23rd bday is june 3!! and we have a BOG ressie!!!!!) so I think compared to mid July this will be a a whole new world.

She will also be 21 by the time we go so we're planning a "drink around epcot" day as well. :woohoo:

ahhhhhhhhhh i'm just so excited

:hyper:

Well we are at the 100 day mark!! And my DD came thru her knee surgery just fine; she starts physical therapy tomorrow. Also a bonus, we will get to see DD20 on Friday! She's in school in Alabama, and for some reason their band is going to play in the opening of the Daytona Beach Races. They will also have a couple days at Universal, which is how we get to see her. We are meeting at Citywalk for dinner Friday! Not as cool as Disney but our family is pretty close and getting all of us together ANYTIME these days is rare, so we are excited! She wants to eat at Bubba Gumps so we are brushing up on our Forrest Gump trivia :-)

I'm glad her surgery went well! Forrest Gump (the book) is available on Kindle right now for cheap...

:cheer2: DOUBLE DIGITS!!! :cheer2:

(Sing to the tune of "99 bottles of beer")

99 days till we're heading to home,
99 days till we're there!
We'll hit every park by the time that we're done,
99 days till we're all having fun!

hehe...

Will

Cute!

Forgot to link to this thread! Magic Band customization- I'm super excited about it. :artist:

Dh wants Darth Maul (we will be there the last Star Wars weekend), boychild wants Pirates of the Caribbean (not sure how to do that yet), Eldest girl wants Ariel, and I am thinking of going with Maleficient for myself, due to her new movie plus we will be there for Friday the 13th (hoping for a villain party). I'm either going to do Minnie Mouse or Tangled for the baby.

Added the link to page 1, post 1!

Joining in on the party:) I am on the Facebook group too:) I booked a Mommy and boys only surprise trip for May 31-June 3. DS will turn 10 on June 1:) I am beyond excited! I never thought I could pull it off, but we have annual passes and got decent airfare out of Trenton. We are staying with a discounted room rate at POR. I have never stayed there before, but I know it is a Dis favorite. We have our family trip booked for August, which explains my ticker. 98 days to go!

Sounds fun! And we love POR! Go for the quiet pools over the feature!

Hi Everyone!
I'm new to this thread, but we're going to be in WDW from June 3rd til June 10th :cool1: This is an exciting trip for us, as we are going with my brothers family celebrating my nephews 11th B-Day and Our 27th Anniversary. :goodvibes

We'll be staying at OKW in a 2 BR Villa which we are super excited about :dance3:.

Happy anniversary! 27 years is an accomplishment these days!

Headed over June 15th through 22nd at Port Orleans - Riverfront.

Been too many times, but this first with the Dining plan.

We like the ddp, but we like it because we don't have to worry about food costs while we're here. We may or may not get a great deal with it. Now, if you want a great QS deal, eat at Wolfgang Puck Express...for 3 of us, it was almost a $100 meal! :faint:

Soooooooooooooooo excited....

Yes they are expensive, but I usually buy a pair of Softwalk sandals to wear and they aren't cheap either. I don't mind paying for a shoe that starts off comfortable and know they will last.;)

They'd last longer if your dog didn't eat them...

Dinner Reservations any suggestions??? I have one more left to plan, but its for our last night, and I want it to be really fun for my daughter. We already have char. lunches and dinners with the Princesses and Sophia the first.

Where will you be the last night?

Yes! Everyone please do that...I'm hoping to find some board buddies who'll be there the same time as me. When we went about 5 years ago, we did that and it was great. :)

We are having an ice storm. Ugh! I hope everyone stays safe.

Today we went over to Walmart to pick up a few things. DD wanted to check out swim suits. We weren't the only ones in the department! Seems there are folks all over ready to party in the sun.

I'm here!' I'm here! Just signed up for the Facebook page as well! So excited to be joining all of you...this trip is an unexpected surprise and I am SO EXCITED to be planning again!

Here are the details:

Name: Malinda

Travel Dates (if known): 6/22-6/26 for our fifteenth anniversary...1st trip with no kids! (Which mostly I am excited about, but also a little sad about too...lol!)

Where Will You Be Staying?: Pop Century...this is a 1st as well. We usually stay at POR

Travel Party: Just DH (Jamie) and me. :)

Current Location: We live in Oklahoma...currently snowy and freezing. Ready for summer!!

Favorite Disney Character: Ummm...that's really hard?? Buzz maybe? Nope...can't pick. Lol!

Favorite Disney Movie: Toy Story (all of them)

How Many Trips?: This is our fourth trip to DW. We just got back in February from a 8 day trip with the kids and inlaws...which is why I don't feel quite so guilty leaving the kids at home.

On-Site or Off?: On site, but with a resort we have never tried.

Best Disney Story: I have lots, but I think my favorite happened during our first trip. My daughter had lost her autograph book during the third day of our trip. The only autograph she really cared about was Stitch's. We searched and searched on our remaining park days, but kept missing him. On our last day, we headed to SM to get fastpasses and there was STITCH just walking by. He grabbed my daughter by her hand and took us all off to the arcade, where they opened up all the games and my kids all got to play with Stitch. When I told his handler about the lost autograph book and the fact that Stitch was the ONLY character that my daughter wanted to have (and that this experience had just MADE our whole trip) the handler called over the CM working the arcade and they both began to scheme. She asked me if she could have my cell number for later in the day. I gave it to her, not sure what they were planning. After my kids had had their fill of games and hugs with Stitch, we headed on our way. A few hours later, I got a call from Stitch's handler, who asked me to meet her by Buzz Lightyear. We headed that way and out came Stitch from backstage, carrying a new autograph book for my daughter. It was filled with signatures from EVERY character you could think of. He looked through the book with her as other guests looked on. He took a ton of time with all of us (again) and just made our day. I can't tell you how surprise and excited we were. It was a most amazing and special experience that I can't imagine happening anywhere else. And that sold us on every Disney trip from then on. :) That level of caring by CMs who have never met us just made us feel so wonderful. I filled out special cards for all the CMs involved and I hope they got proper kudos. They surely gave us an experience that we will never forget.

What do you look forward to most on your next trip? This trip will be totally different without the kids. And we are trying completely new experiences. We are eating at our first signature restaurant (Citrocos). And since we were just there in Jan/Feb and rode everything numerous times, we are using this trip for some park tours we have always wanted to take. We are doing the Behind the Seeds Tour and the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour. We are also planning to see Fantasmic for the first time. We always ending up leaving DHS early because my kids are worn out by the end of the day and fighting that crowd never seems appealing. With just the two of us, we can experience stuff we never wanted to battle before. Lol. I'm also looking forward to my first ride on TOT. I never wanted to ride it alone, so rider swap didn't work for that one. Lol!

Looking forward to "meeting" all of you!
