What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Spending time with my family and friends in my favorite place! :yay:
Welcome! Looks like I'll just miss you.

I have a lime green ribbon on my bag.....and on my camera bag.
Also a lime green button with my user name on it.
I have met a LOT of people in my visits over the years.

Oh, a button. That would be cute. Just need a button maker or find a place that does it.

I did a tag and laminated it one year...and then it rained. I think that was TS Debby that year. Everything was water-logged, even that tag.

Hmm... Didn't think about rain... I'm still not used to rain in summer so trying to get that through my head and bring a poncho.
In all the years I've worn my LGMH to DLR I've never met any other Dissers that way. But I did end up meeting someone because he had one on his backpack. Right in front of me in line. He was a WDW vet. But I keep wearing it.

I know I never did this, just gave my dates.

Best Disney Story: Walking back along Harbor from DLR to our room we passed the ToT. Near us, a mom with her teen son made a comment about the burned out hotel and why don't they fix it? The son just rolled his eyes and said, "It's a ride, Mom." :rotfl2:
What do you look forward to most on your next trip?: Riding the People Mover! That was my favorite at DL when I was little and I can't believe it's still that at WDW! Also looking forward to seeing Epcot!

PinkBudgie, I see that Emporers New Groove is your fav movie!I love that film! Everytime we go to a restaurant for someone's birthday, we have to sing the song! (and often play out that whole scene)!

LOVE it! David Spade as a Llama is classic! One of the funniest Disney movies ever in my opinion!

Best Disney Story: Being there for Xmas in 07 and talking about how sad it was being our last day in happiness and then like minutes later, we get a phone call from our friend who was picking us up at airport telling us there's a snow storm just starting and our flight was cancelled. A bonus day at Disney...Yes!!!!
What do you look forward to most on your next trip?: Our Disney Wedding!!!

WOW!Mike, I think that's the largest, most ambitious Disney trip I've ever heard of. I figuring all 52 are not staying the whole 3 weeks, but still ...impressive!! When during your stay is the wedding?

Lol im surprised that many people are going. The majority of our guests are staying a lil less than a week with some staying longer. We have 4 days of wedding events for our guests. Thursday is the bachelor/ bachelorette parties, friday is rehersal, dinner, and then a catered welcome party at night. The actual wedding is on june 21st. Followed by a monorail bar crawl on sunday night. Its gonna be tons of fun but yikes I underestimated the cost of this thing lol

I have a purple backpack that I carry (I'm the group pack mule). My LGMH is the one on the right in this picture:

I've got to fix it (I broke it where the keychain is and my friend who painted it went out of business for being too successful [no joke]). One way or the other, though....it will be on my backpack! (Now, if I could just convince her to paint a few more of these....)

That's awesome! a LGMH!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!!! Hope you all have a great Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas DisneyMommy9! Hope you all had a great one!

Those are so cute! I never thought of using wood. I'll keep an eye out!
I printed mine from the computer.

However, last summer mine ripped off my purse at DLR so I have to make a new one. I've tried putting the small ones on the backpack DH carries but those always fall off when he stuffs it in the little baggage compartment on rides.

Those are awesome PinkBudgie!

How cool is it to get married at Disney World! Geesh I wish I had friends like that!

Expensive but unforgettable for sure!

Hmm, cost? I expect close to a mortgage!

Sounds about right! ;)

:welcome: Mike Mouse! pixiedust:

How awesome to get married at Disney! I've often joked that, should I ever get married, a Disney wedding had to be part of the package! :cool1: I haven't gotten too many positive responses after that, but it's all been from my non-Disney friends.

52 is a huge group! You are blessed to have so many willing to go to Disney for your wedding! What day is the wedding on? (There's that temptation to say...can we come? :rotfl2:) But, you're going to be there long enough, you'll definitely overlap a lot of our trip plans...We can all be on the lookout for the newlyweds! :D

Hey, everyone! :wave

Look what I did!

The following links go to Google Docs. As long as you access these documents by the link, you can edit! Link 1 is the master list, same as what's on the first page. BTW...I don't have much information for the following people...if you want me to edit your information in, please let me know:
  1. Planning_fanatic_mom (just have you as POFQ, no dates)
  2. lorainfam (have June 18 - 28, but no resort)
  3. MyPeanut&Bug (only have check in of June 7 or 8)
  4. KStover (have POP and just June -- staying the whole month? :D)
  5. mamma23babies (only have a maybe of June 1)
  6. lauralarissa (only have 1st half of June)
  7. larie21 (have that your trip was booked, but no details)
  8. npierce25 (no info on trip)
  9. stasijane (only have most of June)
  10. Disneyvirg (no trip info...did I miss it??)
  11. figmentswife (no trip info....did I miss it??)
  12. joshsmom (did you decide on CBR or ASMo? I put you down for CBR on the google doc)
  13. MopGrad2013 (have dates June 14 - 21; no resort info)

Naturally, you do NOT have to provide anything, but if you'd like to meet anyone, it would help to line up everyone's dates and locations.

Link #2: Everything is lined up by resort, and I have it listed under each resort in order by date.

Most popular resort for us Junies? Port Orleans Riverside! 9 of us with plans for there, closely followed by 7 at French Quarter! (Hey...any staying towards the end of the month at Port Orleans want to try to plan a meet?) The next most popular resort is the Art of Animation with a current total of 5!

Link #3: ADRs. I have input my own, but I haven't gone back through (yet...) to pull info for everyone else. Of course...if you would like to add your own ADRs...that would be fab, too! :hippie: It is currently just by date, but would be nice to put times in order for each date (that's the OCD in me coming out, I suppose....)

Link #4: DisMeets! If you start finding out you're going to be in the same place at the same time...plan a DisMeet (I put us and PinkBudgie in as being in Via Napoli at the same time. :D)

I can also set one up in which we can say what park we'll be in on what day. Let me know if you'd be interested (would help in planning DisMeets).

I have added these links to post #1 as well

Master List (arranged by check-in dates, like what's below)
Listing by Resort, then check-in dates
ADR List
June DisMeets

Would anyone like to do something like a photo challenge or anything like that? Any other ideas? Planning tips? Questions? :hyper:

Thanks for doing all of this. What a great idea!!:yay:

We still don't have any definite plans. DD needs to organize an internship for next summer. We can't make any firm plans until we know what she is doing. The only thing we know for sure is that we want to stay at POFQ.

I will be sure to check out those google docs when we have definite plans. In the mean time, I am loving hearing about everyone else's plans:flower3:

Thanks for the links, rainydayplay (BTW your name always reminds me how awesome Disney is in the rain!)! I am almost blog illiterate so I will try them :-)

Totally not a problem! Just checking to make sure no one has made plans and forgotten to post. Or (which may be more likely) posted updated plans and I didn't see them! Internship sounds like maybe late-May/early-June? hmm...

It's really easy to use -- it's essentially MS Word online! It really only does basic functions, so it should be pretty user-friendly. It's a great thing if you have something you want to show people or you want a group working on it. You choose the type of program you want to use, then set it up, then you can share it. When sharing, you can choose whether you want others to be able to edit or not, who can look at it, how they can look at it, etc.

But, again, these are just like using a word processing document! You should be fine!

For the record, I love Disney in the rain! (As long as it isn't part of the thunder/lightning package....) In 2011, my sister-in-law and I rode EE 5 or 6 times in a row..walked on. We were SOAKED when it was over, but we had a blast!

PinkBudgie, I see that Emporers New Groove is your fav movie!I love that film! Everytime we go to a restaurant for someone's birthday, we have to sing the song! (and often play out that whole scene)!

DH and I are always quoting that movie to each other. But it seems most people don't know it. Definitely a secret gem of a movie. Every time we watch the Soarin Over California video in line we say There's Kronk!

Good to know. I just saw the rainfall averages for WDW in June. They are the highest of any other month! I did not realize that. As long as there are no hurricanes, we won't let some rain stop us!

The parks are amazing in the rain! As long as it's not cold rain, or if you have a poncho. The crowds leave in droves and you get experiences like rainyday's EE marathon! Note on the ponchos: I like buying the 1 dollar variety at the Dollar Store or Walgreen's and then just tossing them when the rain stops. They come folded up super small, so you could buy many for 20 bucks ( the price of 2 WDW ponchos) and make them single use. I have never figured out how to easily carry 6 wet pieces of plastic anyway!
