*****Official (??) June 2014 Thread -- Party Like It's Hot!*****

So tomorrow is ADR day!:cool1: I'm really not looking forward to the 6 am wake-up call to get on my computer.:coffee: Since I'm doing a split stay, I only get to make the first half of my reservations. And I'm still planning my schedule. Nothing like waiting until the last minute.:confused3

What ADR's did you get? We have 16 days until we can make ours.

Good morning, everyone!

We're all nearing the 180-Day mark (or there already!) What's your ADR plans?

We know we want to go to ...
California Grill
Tusker House (Breakfast)
Tea at the Grand Floridian Cafe
(and maybe breakfast at Kona...)

We need to narrow down what day for what, but we have until December 22nd. :rotfl:

Anyone want to plan some DIS meets, or is this still too early out for that? :thumbsup2

So, I was able to make our ADRs for the first half of our trip. I was able to get CP for a pre-park breakfast, 1900 Park Fair for dinner, Akerhus for a late breakfast, Chef Mickey's for dinner, and the Wishes Dessert Party. Yes, it's character heavy but I might end up moving some things around. I can't book for the second half of our trip since we are doing a split stay, but I will be able to do those on Thursday. I did try to make ADRs for dates after the end of my 1st reservation but didn't work. :sad1: But I'm good. Once I get things "finalized" I'll post our full itinerary.

My ADR day is Monday.....unfortunately I have jury duty
Hope I can find a few minutes in the jury room to get them made!!

Rainy day.... Our dds share a bday on the 25! What park are you doing that day?

HI!! Just wanted to get my name in on this thread even though I don't have a date set yet, I cant miss being around for most of the SSW and since my DD14 will be out of school I have a feeling we will likely be spending a lot of time at WDW in June :goodvibes

Hi Juners!

So glad I stumbled across this thread...last I had read, the Wishes Dessert Party could only be reserved 30-60 days out??? Now I can snag it when getting my others at my 180 day mark!?!? :cool1:

Here's my plan for my early Monday morning ADR attempt:
BOG - supper
Chef Mickey's - supper
Ohana - supper
Akershus - supper
Teppan Edo - supper
Tusker House - lunch
Liberty Tree - supper
Sci Fi - lunchtime - for dessert
Wishes Dessert Party

Any suggestions on the order? Other than wishes dessert, this is the order I was planning to attack it in.

Is it just me, or do scheduled ADRs make the trip seem a bit more REAL? :woohoo:

I really need to start looking at ADR ideas!!!!! My oldest has not been to Disney in 4 years (he says he is too old) but wanted to go for Star Wars weekend.

I may just be sending my husband and son but haven't decided yet.

Don't forget to join the FB group also.

I think we'll be at one of the water parks... How old will your DD be? Mine will be TEN! Mom and I have lamented about her being an "adult" in Disney's eyes, and she keeps telling me that she'll be an adult according to Disney, so she should be able to do whatever she wants! I keep explaining that it just means they will charge MORE for her ticket and dining... It kind of sank in that it means she won't be able to eat off the kids' menu any more. That makes her sad. I told her she needs to TRY some of the adult food this trip and see what she thinks. It's the next trip where she'll have to worry.

I'll get back to you once she figures out where she'd like to go for dinner that night... ;)

Cool maybe we will see you around! What section are you in? We will be in the Little Mermaid section. How many people are in your group?

We have 4. DH 32, Me 31, DD 11, DS 7. We will be in Nemo. We are super excited! Doing 3 nights at Universal prior to check at AOA as well. Can't wait to check out Harry Potter!

The nemo rooms would be cool. We thought about universal too but we decided to splurge on the Disney cruise instead. It will just be me and hubby both in our 30's.

::welcome to npierce25, stasijane, Disneyvirg, figmentswife, & ajrwdwgirl! I've added everyone to the first post, although I didn't see any trip plans for some -- which is fine, just let me know if I missed something or you want your basic trip info to be included!

You have a LOT of TS planned out...keep in mind you will spend a minimum of an hour at each, an hour and a half at character meals, and potentially two hours or more at the dinner show. That cuts a whole lot of park time out. (Even if you are already well aware of this, good to make sure the newbies know...:thumbsup2 )

In looking for the thread about Dessert Party ADR date watch, I found another that said, yes, you CAN reserve the Wishes Dessert Party at 180 (+10 for resort guests) day mark. Keep in mind that, if you do this and you want to enjoy the party, EAT DINNER EARLY. Or skip it all together! We had an ADR for CRT that night. I think there was two hours between one and the other. We wished we had planned differently, but DD always wants her Birthday Dinner in the castle. :/

We would love to do a cruise, but it just isn't in the stars...yet! (But if that lottery ticket comes through....we're going! And sooo many other things we'll be doing, too!)

My hubby and I will be there for our first June trip. June 10-19 at BWV studio. Hubby is going to star wars weekend. I am going to a AWHONN conference the 14-18th.

Any tips helpful My conference is at Coronado Springs. Thinking of taking a taxi in the am then bus to met the hubby at the park he is at.

Anyone else going for the conference?

Dianna and Jeff:)

You will absolutely LOVE the cruise! My DD and I have been on all 4 ships, and can't wait to go back in 2015. Which ship will you be on and for how long? Ask any questions you might have. I will be happy to answer them.:goodvibes

I would love to go the end of June to celebrate my bday and my DD's bday, but I don't think we could tolerate the heat and humidity. We found it difficult in Sept.
