***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

Thanks letthewookiewin

My FIL too. He had one leg amputated 5 years ago and the other leg/foot has had toes amputated. He's in a wheelchair and housebound but can care for himself. We lost my MIL last June. She was only 70 and had Alzheimers, she died from complacations of that. She was able to remain at home with the help of private duty aides, my bother in law, husband and I. He's had a bad few years but has a strong spirit. My MIL and FIL loved going to Disney with us and the kids when they were younger and bought a house right near Disney so we could go often. You can see the Epcot fireworks from the front yard. My other BIL and my son live there now. I guess my son has them to blame for his Disney mania (as well as my husband and I) We stay at the house a few times a year but on property when we go to Disney, it's so much easier.

Anyway, less depressing stuff. Yay we leave tonight for 10 days at Disney! :dance3:

Prayers for your fil

Safe travels have a wonderful time and tell Mickey we'll see him in 1 week :woohoo:

I will keep you and your DH in my prayers. Everything has a way of falling into place. Hang in there!!

Thank you, I just have to keep reminding myself of that.

Boy, we all have just had a tough month.

We are still up in the air, Dh missed the run by a minute, but I'm not sure they measured out the track correctly/accurately, so he may have actually passed. He is waiting for somebody to talk to somebody else.

I'm just a mixed bag of emotions. My in-laws are going to meet me at our house when I get off this afternoon, and I will be on vacation then.

We were supposed to go to my cousin's dance recital, but one of the girls refuses to dance, because her teacher was really nasty to her in front of the class, the youngest says she is going to dance, but she won't care if we aren't there, as long as her grandmother is there. Their mom is fighting with the owner. I don't think we will be going, Dh and I have seen the girls dances and I will miss it, but I can borrow the DVD when they get it.

Is anybody interested in a LeCellier reservation for June 6th at 2:25pm, 4 guests? The more I think about it, the more I don't want to go, I have heard mixed reviews and it's at an odd time of day and I just want to cancel or give it away. I want to give you guys a chance before I go over to the cancellation thread on the Restaurant board.

Ok, so I just got word that the Army is going to give DH a 3 month extention, I will get more details tonight, he only had time to test me. I am so relieved. No matter what condition my foot is in, I am going to have to exercise with him so that he can get this done.

I am so glad he got the extention!! Now you just need to relax and enjoy your trip.

I have started my laundry today and it sounds like the 1st load is almost done. I have to pick up my nephew and then I'm taking him out for frozen yogurt to celebrate the end of him being in elementary school. I would have done this tomorrow, on his last day, but I won't be picking him up. My DH and I will be sleeping late so we can drive later into the night. Today is all about laundry and packing. I'm thinking about even going ahead and sticking the bags in the minivan tonight.

It is a huge relief and a huge stressor off me. I am going to spend the next 10days relaxing, even at WDW. That's why I think I'm going to cancel our Le Cellier reservation, to give us more down time. That is our check in day and I don't think it's at a good time.

I don't have many clothes to wear off, because I really only go off on Saturdays, I mostly have work clothes. I may have to do laundry before we go, I may just go shopping instead, Catherine's just increased the limit on my card, I could use another pair fo capris at the very least. I tend to at least change my shirt in the evening before going back out, means more than one suitcase.

My problem with laundry that needs to go in thr dryer, is that our washer and dryer are in the den, where we have the tv and spend all our time and if you run it during the day, it makes the house incredibly hot, so I run it over night and it takes forever to get laundry done and keep it done, DH is changing his clothes all the time, I don't understand it. I hang my clothes on hangers to dry so they last longer.

You know what? I ate there back in April and IMO it wasn't anywhere near as good as it has been in the past 2 trips that we've eaten there. Maybe it was just an off night, but after leaving, I definitely didn't feel like it was worth the $$. And there are so many other great restaurants to eat at in Epcot too! And I hear you about not wanting to eat a lot when it's hot out!

What are you thinking that you'll do instead of LeCellier?

There are several other places available later in the afternoon/evening. I think my MIL would LOVE Rose and Crown, her family is from England and some still live there, but Biergarten is available and I know DH would love that. I don't know which to choose. We ate at both in January and neither one were just fabulous to me, but you know I could have just had an off night. DH is extremely picky, so it's hard to choose.

Any suggestions??

Congrats on the extension!! That's got to be a relief! The power of prayer and pixie dust! pixiedust:

Now I'm sure the in-laws will be fine as you seem completely prepared! When you can, just breathe, take in the Disney Magical air, and relax. You are going to have so much fun!

Wishing you the best!!

I'd go with R&C too! Always wanted to try it buti can never seem to fit it in. So many others I don't want o give up! BTW, someone told me to try a snakebite at the R&C. I saw a pic and it looked yummy!

It's JUNE!!!!!! Have a wonderful trip everyone leaving in the next few days!!! If you get a chance to check in, please do!! Those of us at the end of the month will be dying to hear how everything is!!!:banana::banana::banana:

We found Le Cellier good on our 2nd last trip but it's getting far too expensive, even at lunch so skipped last time.

Rose and Crown used to be a favorite but the menu is too limited for me although DH loves it! We have always managed to get dining times for Illuminations but I doubt that we will eat there unless the menu changes drastically.

SO excited for those of you leaving soon! Have safe travels and hope everyone will have a magical time!

Now that our trip is around the corner I suddenly feel under planned and overwhelmed lol! I can only imagine how I would feel if I didnt have DisBoards-thanks to everyone for all your great advice and opinions!
