We stayed there on our first trip and we all loved it. We were in Trinidad South, and I didn't think the walk to Port Royale (?) was bad at all. In fact the one time I walked it (maybe I did it twice) I rather enjoyed the little walk. There was only one time that I thought we had to wait forever for a bus, but that was more b/c of the company we had than the actual wait. There was a group of middle school cheerleader there, that thought we were really interested in listening to their silly little cheers, very early in the morning. Their mothers thought it was just the greatest thing under the sun. We took the first bus, that they didn't.

That's a hard one though. If it was an upgrade from a Mod to a Deluxe, there would be no question. For me there just isn't enough of a difference between a Value and a Mod to do the upgrade. Unless it included going to a Mod that would have Queen beds. Then it would be worth it. Personally, I would put the $110 on Disney gift cards, so you can treat yourself to something at WDW that you normally wouldn't buy. If you put it on a gift card, it will keep you from spending it on something else.

Thank you. I should have called before I posted, because it wasn't available with a discount, so we won't be moving. If I could get a standard room at WL, I would almost guarantee I would move over there.

I did already book the setup at Blizzard Beach, so I guess that is my treat for this trip.

Well, we decided last night to go down one day earlier, and grab a one day ticket to one of the Disney water parks, since none of us have ever tried them.

Now, just have to decide which one!

Suzanne - We were room only last December without ME and I'm sure we got something in the mail about 10 days before we left. We also got the Mickey email reminding us we could do online registration which we didn't do because I wanted to be sure we got a good, close location near the main ceremonial house at the Poly. It worked out fine that time.

I'm still debating whether to do online checkin for my reservation this trip. Being solo and a somewhat light sleeper I don't want to be poolside or far from the food court but I'm not paying for a preferred room at ASSports.

I have read that a number of people have received free upgrades to preferred at ASSports and some have ended up poolside and hated it for the noise at night.

I'll probably do online checkin and take my chances to see what my room location is and hopefully it will be good.

Hopefully everyone still waiting for Mickey Mail will receive theirs soon!!!

And Suzanne, my new picture parade in my signature has a bigger shot of me with Daisy Duck so you can see what I look like!

I have never received the regular Mickey Mail with a room only, only with a package and we drive, so we don't get the mail with the ME tags. We also didn't get anything when we rented DVC points and had a package. I did get a print out confirmation this week, because my reservation isn't showing on the website, I had to beg for that.

I can't see your pictures here on this computer, but I will look at them when I get home. I don't knwo how to post pictures here on the Dis, but I can get DH to take one and post it on the facebook page. I'm a bit camera shy.

Suzanne - I can send you easy steps on how to post pictures on the DIS if you want! Photobucket lets you upload a fairly good-sized number for free and then you can post them on the DIS. That's how I first started posting to the DIS years ago. But I have moved on to SmugMug because I wanted a fancier page to show off my photography even if I am just an average photographer.

OMG, I called Disney tonight, because I had received an invoice and it didn't add up, good thing I did, because my reservation had been cancelled. They were able to get it reinstated, just hope we get there and have no issues.

On another note, we saw The Avengers and it was really good!

To get pictures into your signature, you need to resize them small enough to fit. In SmugMug I use the Thumbnail size.

You do not use the "Insert Image command" (mountain symbol above) but instead use the appropriate Url coding from your photo hosting site for the size of photo that fits in the space in your signature.

I italicized the link so it wouldn't display a picture.

To get pictures into your signature, you need to resize them small enough to fit. In SmugMug I use the Thumbnail size.

That's kinda what I figured. I'm sure my mailman is happy though. We almsot NEVER check our mail (we have a group of mailboxes that is kinda away from our house and not on the way to anywhere), but in the anticipation of Mickey mail we've, well okay I've, been checking it daily. Haha!

Just turned our room-only res into a MYW with Deluxe Dining! Woot!!! But because we were 46 days out yesterday, had to pay it all at once! Yikes! LOL! Took forever to do the math, but it looks like it'll save us a bit of $$ with the DDP. DH and I had the QS free dining a few weeks ago, but DD and I have ADRs for Le Cellier, Boma, Chefs, Crystal Palace and 50's PrimeTime (no free dining this time). Looks like we'll be bringing a whole lot of snacks home with us!
