***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

We are going the 13th-20th and haven't seen or heard about free dining yet.

I was able to call and use a code that was floating around on the boards and the CM was nice enough to use it. We had another pin code attached which was a good deal too but free dining is always better for us.

We added one day at IOA. I am feeling a little bit like I'm cheating on Disney, but we really want to see WWoHP.

Did you book directly through Universal for your tickets? I'm hoping that we can visit sea world and US/IOA while we are on vacation. However...the price of the tickets are so much for those three things I was hoping to find a legit retailer with better prices.

Yes, through Universal. We are staying one night at Royal Pacific, so we can get the express pass and hour early entry. I know that it is expensive, but with this being our first visit, I thought we would do it right.

Sorry, I couldn't help much!

Don't know how I missed that, hopefully something else will come up for free dining in June.:confused3

I found the codes floating around on the boards here. Thanks to everyone. I had to have my AAA agent call to try to apply it, but they said the code was not valid for western PA. I will keep searching for free dining......
it's out there somewhere....
waiting for some pixie dust...:rolleyes1

Sorry to hear that, I know many people had to call numerous times and get just the right CM. I hadn't heard that it was region specific just that it "should" have been an emailed pin code. Wishing you some pixie dust...could another AAA agent call for you and try again?

Hello all! I did this trip last June and am having serious withdrawals. I have decided to take my oldest to celebrate her high school graduation. So looks like it is June again for us!:cool1:

Last night, I officially booked our trip for June. We are taking my MIL and Step FIL for 3 nights/4 days. They live close to DL, but have never been to WDW, not sure they have been to DL either.

Is anybody planning on going to Star Wars Weekend? We will be there the very last weekend it is going on and thought about stopping in to see some of the characters. I know it will be crazy busy but I think my 11 year son would LOVE it.

Sorry, but I don't know how to quote.

We will be there for SWW too! We are arriving on Saturday evening so we will be there for one Sunday. Since we are staying for a week, we are also able to catch Friday of the next week!

We were there 7 years ago when my daughter was 10 months old. This trip is a couples only trip!!! No kids. But we will be back in 2 years when the kids are older and we will probably make it to SWW again!

We have a great picture of Darth Vader signing an autograph book with a fluffy pink pen!

We are officially booked for June 4-8, 2012, staying at the Pop Century.:dance3::banana:

Last night I went to go into our room and my DH had locked the door. I thought he had done it so the DSs wouldn't bother him so he could take his nightly nap to play World of Warcraft. Well when I unlocked the door, he was laying in bed, with a laptop on his tummy, and ear buds in his ears. He was pricing WDW trips, and didn't want to be caught. Our original plan was to move our currently booked November 2012 trip to January 2013, but the DH suggested moving it to June 2012, and the rebooking the January trip when 2013 packaged come out. I am beyond happy!!! I already have our ADRs booked.

We'll be there May 28 - June 9, doing a split stay at Pop Century and Beach Club!!! Can't wait!!!

It looks like from our timelines you will be there the week before us! How exciting to have an adults only trip. :cloud9: I would love to do a solo trip-as if that would ever happen lol.

So any tips for a newbie to SWW? We went last year in May but avoided that park the entire weekend it was going on-I have heard about how busy it gets. We will be there the final weekend-any special things they do at the end? Is it better to go first thing in the morning when it opens? I'm not interested in meeting the real actors just getting some photo ops with characters and seeing them around the park.

We went every year from 2006-2008. Went to US/IOA and Orlando in 2009 (back when you could get a 7-day pass for $99.) In 2010, we went on a Disney Cruise (awesome!:thumbsup2) 2011, we went on a Carnival Cruise (another awesome, but not Disney:goodvibes.)

2012? We are going back to Disney!!!:banana::banana: 5 Days! And then, we're going to head to a cheap hotel and spend one day at US/IOA. (We went last year. We had a great time, but we have one day left on our pass!)

Oh, and before we head home, we're going to eat at Giordano's pizza for some of the best Chicago style, and hit the road!

2013? Royal Caribbean Cruise. (The reason why is because my eldest son will be going to WDW with his school orchestra in April. Then he's going with his family starting June 3rd. That's a lot of Disney!)

DD (17) and I will be there 6/9 and 6/10 :thumbsup2 So excited we've never been and DD is a huge SW fan

So cute we are hoping for some great pictures with all the SW characters. Darth, Chewy and R2D2 are top on the list for sure :thumbsup2

Woohoo:woohoo: that's when we will be there! We arrive the morning of the 9th but I think we will wait and go there Sunday. I figure Sundays are less busy :confused3

I'm trying to keep the trip secret from the kids 11DS & 10DD, but its SO hard when I see things I know they will love! I just hope it won't be so busy we can't enjoy ourselves.

We have been for SWW several times, but missed last year for the Flower and Garden Festival.

We arrive prior to park opening so we can watch the Storm Troopers harrass everyone in line waiting to get in, it's hilarious. We hit the special merchandise area for special souveniers, and catch the parade, then we ususally leave after that or Dh will go ride RNRC and TOT. I am not a Star Wars fan, but I love this event at DHS.

We haven't done the character photo opportunities, the lines are always long, but I do have pictures of them in the parade. We try to get a place right where the parade steps off for some of the best pictures and we had a great experience with Darth Goofy.

We are usually there for the 3rd weekend, but it looks like we will catch it the last weekend. I haven't heard about anything special, but you never know. We never thought it was that crowded until after the parade, but we usually leave then.

It was almost 7 years ago so it is hard to remember the details. We got a picture of Jedi Mickey at the Sounds Dangerously area and a picture with Darth Vader some where else. The parade was fun. My husband had his Star Wars book autographed. It was a novel that filled in the gaps between the movies I think. I can't keep up with it all. We had to get a fastpass for that. I think I left to go shopping and I came back and he was still waiting. We still had time to do all the rides and such. It was fun people watching and seeing babies dressed like Luke and Leia. We also stood in a long line to get Jedi Mickey bean bag plush and pins. I remember it being hot, but not as bad as July or August.

Here is a sight with the merchandise for this year.

Have fun. We might even be in the park together on the last Friday.

Oh, and try to be at the park before it opens for a fun show!

We are coming to Pop 5/31-6/9 to celebrate my DD's 6th birthday, my DH's birthday, and our 10th anniversary! We are planning a day at HS for SWW. I'm in the process of making my ADR's. So far we have B-fast ressies at CRT, Holly & Vine, lunch @ Le Cell, and dinners at HDDR, Cape May and Coral Reef. I would like to get an Ohana's breakfast. Are there any highly recommended ADR's I should be on the hunt for? Looking forward to joining in on the fun here!

Yeah what a fun way to celebrate all those milestones! We went for the first time last year and celebrated both our kids bdays...it was amazing how much attention they got for having bday buttons. I totally recommend she wear her button the entire trip and you have to visit Turtle Talk with Crush...she may get a special bday wish at the end of the show from Crush! Disney really knows how to make people feel special! Hope you have a great trip!
