Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

I just booked 6/6-6/13 staying at Dolphin, I can't wait, it will be my grand daughters first time and she's really excited(7 yrs). We get in late 6:30PM, and I am open on what to do the first night. I figure we would start Sunday morning with the parks. I also will have my grandson with me, his 2nd time with me. Any suggestion on where to eat, I figure Norway, then Crystal Palace, then has anyone tried the breakfast with Mary Poppins? Never did this I am wondering if it is good?
I am right now counting the days.

We finally got to do the breakfast with Mary Poppins (1900 Park Fare) in Dec and it was by far the best one we have done. My favorite was the Maple French Toast.

I think you may have just helped me pick my birthday breakfast, I have been having a time trying to decide.

Dh and I will be at POFQ, June 6-13 for my birthday on June 8. 6:30pm is early in June, I think the MK will probably be open until at least midnight and that is the best time to go, it isn't hot or too crowded. that is my favorite time in the parks anyway. You will be close to the Boardwalk and it is nice to venture over there for a little while too. They have some Boardwalk games that are played with the kids.

Speculation is 90 days in advance (like the new ADR system). The May hours aren't even out yet which is pretty frustrating to me since our vacation is the last week of May through first week of June.

You're quite welcome. I am getting antsy too! The only park I know we are going to on a particular day is Hollywood Studios. Star Wars weekends will be happening our first weekend there so I know we have to be at HS that day. I'll be booking Mama Melrose for dinner that night.

Other than that, I know where we want to eat but I don't know where we'll be on any given day.

I am not a really fanatical planner but we like to have a sit down meal each night (in whatever park we are in) and it's hard to plan when they don't have the park hours posted.

Just made our deposit! Staying offsite at Windsor Hills June 22-28. Woohoo! We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and my birthday. Last time we visited was our honeymoon.

I just saw that the May hours are posted. No June hours though. From a quick glance, it looks like they added a 3rd night for Fantasmic. I wonder if the June schedule will be similar.

I'm just hoping that if the May hours were out a couple days early, then the June hours will be too! I can't imagine what it must be like if your days were May 1st-....! I would be biting off my last nail!!! I would think that they would add a few more fantasmics because of Gay Days and also Star Wars on the Weekends during June. Also with schools being out, it just makes sense that more people will be there so they will need more shows.

Cool, that means you can check the website and see what parks UG recommends for your days! I already have a preliminary list ready, just waiting to see if those days change and then compare the hours when they are released and plug my restaurant pics in before I make my call for adrs.

Typically the parks in the summer stay open later. You figure the MK will stay open to at LEAST 11pm if not later. Epcot usually closes around 9 or 10?!?!? Just keep looking and I will too!!!
