Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

YAY, I mihgt get mine out this time and try to do something with them, since there will be so many of us at POFQ. I sure hope we see you. We arrive on June 6th to the 13th and will be in and out all day long. I don't know which bag I am going to use I plan on taking several and see which one works best for what, but it will most likely be a Vera Bradley and as I said I will be scooting along on my ECV, don't be shy.

Suzanne, I see you are in Phenix City and an Auburn Fan...War Eagle! I graduated in 04.

I'll be staying in POR the 20th-27th...what's the chance I'll run into some of you POFQ peeps? When we went in October, I bought a spool of LG ribbon and forgot scissors! We used the whole spool to tie a bow on the handle of our stroller every day -- the good news is that we could always find our stroller! Every time Mom and I saw some one with LG...we wondered if they were a DISer...we were just too chicken to ask!

This trip, I've got another spool of ribbon, but I'm going to paint "DIS Boards Member RainyDayPlay" or something to that effect and cut it shorter this time around! Maybe some of us will run into each other!

Oh, Yes, rainydayplay, I am a die hard Auburn Fan, only dreamed of going there, though. I am in Phenix City, and have been all my life.

Unfortunately, we will be long gone by the time you arrive, because last time we were at POR, we got off at the POFQ bus stop to look around and will probably visit POR this time.


sweetheartxapril, we did online check in in March (actually our AAA agent idd it for us), and it was really nice to get to the resort and have your room packet all ready for us. We arrived at 11:30pm and had to wait in the regualr line, but since it was already printed we were immediately on our way. We can do it tomorro, so I am going to call my agent to do it for us this time.

I can almost taste the Dole Whip! I am still picking up toiletries and stuff. I got this really neat stick of stuff that is supposed to block blisters for dh. He got some Merrel gym shoes which are hurting his heels. For some reason he is anti-bandaid...Anyway, the kids only have 3 days of school left, which means 3 days of peace, quiet, and packing for me!

We are 8 Days I just did the Online Check In I am gong to go pick up the rest of my stuff on Friday then start packing!

11 days until we start our 15 1/2 hour drive to WDW. 12 days until we're there!!! Staying @ POR from 6/8-6/15. Our first trip. We can't wait. I have so much to do and so little time.

The blister block WORKS! Just be sure to put it on BEFORE you feel a blister forming. You will have to reapply it occasionally. It saved us.

I finally started packing today! 17 more days to go! I'm also super excited because I found a code online that saved us $151 on our 12 day car rental from Avis!!

LOL, my Dh has more packed than I do. I guess he got bored last night as decided to pack. But, we do leave in 10 days, so I better get busy and finish up, I think all my laundry is dry now

We will be at CBR June 15 - 22. Myself, DH, DD9 and DD8. Can't wait! Today was the last day of school for the kids (had to make up a few snow days) so now that sense of "urgency" has started. my girls have started packing, I have not!!!
