Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

My advice for making the time go faster? Starting phrasing it in weeks rather than months and days. 10 weeks sounds much better than 2 and a half months.
Anyone started shopping for their trip or gathering stuff up? I got the dcs some new summer clothes and a cute fanny pack for dd (yes, those words can go in the same sentence) and a little purse for myself.

I've started buying pins and I bought the kids some Disney crocs. They were on sale on the crocs website. Once I hit 90 days I start gathering stuff up!

"cute fanny pack" DH started looking for the new canvas crocs for men and I am looking at maybe getting a baggallini(sp?)

I've been told that people are lining up hours ahead of time.

I've decided to skip it this trip. Just doesn't seem worth all the hassle and time wasted in line.

Us too. We saw it a few years ago. Although we loved it, we don't want to wait that long.

We skipped it last time and really wanted to see it this time. I am wondering if it is really worth the hour wait. Who knows what we will do. I must say I am not a fan of this 90 day rule for ADR's. I liked it better when we got to make ADR's 180 days out. Oh well. Its not going to keep me from having a good time!!

Just made my ADRs! We will be doing June 18-20 at AKL and then going home to BWV from June 21 - June 26!

I started shopping too! Bought my 2 DDs new bathing suits and cute sundresses for one of our dinner nites. Dresses are dual purpose for Easter but in time of budget crunching it was logical. Will be nice to see them in the sundresses more than once.

Glad to see everyone else is starting to get things for their trip, too! We're getting excited at our house!! The kids are watching Disney movies like crazy and have played the planning DVD over and over. We have begun filling a box with "stuff" we'll be taking. I've already ordered everyone new Crocs from the Crocs outlet. We were at Walmart the other day and picked up these wonderful little gadgets. . .

The ones we have had for the past 2 years are about done for, so we needed new ones!! They're terrific--mist water and a fan, and it has a caribiner that will clip onto your bag or whatever. I'm also working on our t-shirt DISigns and picking up shirts to tie-dye like this:

Both kids have out grown theirs, Mom's has gotten way too big yay: ), so we need new ones! We'll do that over spring break.

Can't wait!!

Only 69 days left. DW and I have been shopping and getting things together. She has ordered rash guards for her and the kids , I still need to order mine. We already have our sandals and walking shoes, and she has ordered new swim suits for the kids (they keep growing).

We also went to the art supply store to make a countdown calendar for the last 30 days.

There's a thread somewhere on the DISigns board that shows you exactly what to do. I don't know how to post a link to another thread, but if I find it, I'll try to point you in the right direction! It's got step-by-step directions including pics.
