New Disney Visa "Inspire" card

That's an interesting tip to increase room charges to help hit the $2k resort spend. That works for table service dining. Is there any way to charge to room for quick service dining and/or mobile orders?
I’m struggling to see how this would ever be better than just getting the 10% discount by paying with your card. Unless you’re able to convince the CM to give you the 10% discount AND let you charge it to the room.

It would really depend on where you are eating. The 10% discount is only offered at select sit down dining locations. Not dining at any of those? Better to let the room charge accumulate and see where you land.

That is an interesting point if the Chase Disney Visa is the only way you can get the dining discount. Some people have Annual Passes or MagicKey, or are DVC blue card and are eligible for a dining discount that way.

Most of the quick serve dining locations around WDW are not eligible for any dining discounts.

You don’t get 10% back on resort spending until you hit $2K. If you charge restaurants directly, they code as dining & not as resort spending. Without those extra restaurants & shopping charges, some people may not hit the $2K resort spend & might miss out on 10% for the actual resort room cost. If you add the dining & shopping to your room & pass $2K, you’ll get 10% back on the whole $2K.

If your resort costs more than $2K, or you’re past that in resort spending, yes, charge the Disney Visa directly for the discount.

Well its not 10% back on all of it. It's 200 Reward Dollars and the 3% rewards. It will be different for everyone, a lot of it depending on where you eat.

Someone please help! I just renewed my annual pass (DVC Sorcerers Pass) which you have to call. I charged 200 dollars to the Visa but the pending transaction doesn't mention tickets in any way. Is this what other folks charges looked like? I'm worried it won't count as ticket spend.
