Hi all, looksl like we may be in Disney 7/18-7/30. I have never been in mid July & am nervous about the crowds. Anyone been in mid July before have any comments on their experience.

Hoping to book the Beach Club. If not then maybe 2 rooms at a value.

We've been down in mid-July several times and love it! We usually go either late June/Early or mid/late July (depending on our APs). We think it's a little less crowded than early July - 4th of July.

We'll be at BC July 18-August 1, hope to see you there!

Our AP runs out on 7/29 so I would like to get in another trip on that AP rather than go in August & have to get new AP's.

Welcome!! We were there last year from the 19-25th. It really wasn't bad. I mean, you just have to know that it's going to be crowded and it's going to be hot. You won't be able to do everything in one day but it looks like you have a long trip planned so you will be fine!

Hello All! I just talked DH into a short weekend trip 4th of July weekend. We'll only be there for 1 night (2 days) so will probably stay in Downtown Disney. This came about because we'll be getting a free pass from the Give a Day Get a Day however can not use them when we come in Mar. due to black out dates. :goodvibes Doesn't bother me though...I get another trip. Whoo Hooo!

Now to tell the kids to expect a packed park and that we'll have to be there very early and stay all day! :rotfl:

Hey everyone. I'm STILL waiting on my Wishes cruise info for july 4th. According to the Poly IPO and the CM at WDW-PLAY, they should be loaded any day. Been any day for 2 weeks now....I guess it was the same way for the New Year's Eve cruises--all surrounding dates were in the system long before the holiday. It's weird.:confused3 I have all my ADRs planned, but I had to make 2 different ones for dinner on July 4th! One is under my name, the other under DH's. I'm gonna cancel one as soon as we find out if we got the cruise. We'll either have my birthday dinner (July 4th) at LTT in MK OR we'll be having an early dinner at Narcoosee's before we head out on the wishes cruise! Please send :wizard: Pixie Dust for that cruise!

Made my ADR's this morning!

7/24- Narcoosee's @ 8:15 ( so we can watch wishes!)
7/25- Ohana @ 6:20
7/26- Le Cellier @ 4:50
7/29- Teppan Edo @ 6:00
7/30- Yachtsman Steakhouse @ 5:30pm

We are planning on adding some breakfasts and/or lunches but have no idea where yet. I am trying to convince dbf to try chef mickeys or crystal palace for breakfast but he doesnt really like the characters lol. Also i looked at the menu for Paradiso 37 and it looks really good so we might try it one night for dinner but you cant make reservations for it.

Your ADRs look great - I love your choices!!

Welcome - I added you to the list on page 10 - if your hotel changes let me know, I have you down for tentatively at the BC. The BC does have a nice day bed -so that adds some sleeping space. We stayed there last April, I really liked it but it was a long walk to the lobby and we had a view of a roof - I wanted a big balcony. Mid-July is hot and crowded, but you do get better rates on Deluxe hotels then. I still have never found it as bad as spring break.

We ate there for breakfast in October. The buffet was fresh & delicious. They had make your own omelets, some tatsy egg dish (not sure what it was called), fruits, danishes, etc. Pooh, Tigger, Alice, & Mary Poppins were there. The Mad Hatter spent a long time at our table joking around with my kids.

Might have to try that one! Sounds good!!!

Thanks!:)

We have done APs every other year - one time we go late July, the next year early in July. This is our early year.

Welcome! When you get your dates and hotel, post it and I will add you to the list on page 10. When are you going in March? We are tentatively going March 27-April 2 but staying offsite.

Thanks! I really wanted to renew my AP's this year so we could get that extra 3 months they are offering. This way we could go mid August this year & mid August next year, but if I want BC then new passes are not in the budget.:teacher:

You are welcome. Have you stayed at the BC before? I loved being so close to Epcot.

I know what you mean about passes. The way our dates fall the extra 3 months do not help. We cannot go in August cause DD has band camp. I am not sure if we will do the APs next year or not.....

Yes, twice & both times were wonderful. We like to try to stay at new resorts but BC keeps calling my name.:goodvibes

Tinkerbell60,

I saw your ticker...is this your first CR stay? We were there in October & LOVED it.

Love the fireworks on the 3rd at Magic Kingdom and the shows and the fireworks on the 4th at Epcot

I have that feeling about the Poly - just stayed there last summer, and I would love to go back. I also really love the Boardwalk.

We stayed at the CR in 2005 before they remodeled. DS and DH have really wanted to go back, so..............

Just made reservations today at SOG, I'm excited (stayed at SOG before) but this summer we are going for 2 weeks and this will be the longest Disney trip we've done so far.

Welcome Alicia!!

Our dates overlap so maybe we'll see each other in the lines!

We just did 1900 Park Fare in November and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice this was. My DD loved watching Cinderella and Prince Charming dance and she was also excited that this was her first "villians" encounter, too.

Welcome!! You will love having two weeks in the World. We have been doing that the last few years and it is great. It will still slip by quickly though!! I added you to the list on page 10 as Dates Unknown - if you can post your dates, I will fix that.

So glad you came out of lurkdom to join our thread!! I am going to add your ADRs to the master list on the top of page 7. Oh actually, do you want to tell me your times so I can specify? Let me know! Thanks

Ok--here are our ADR's. It sure looks like a lot when we have them all listed!! I am pretty certain that Kona for breakfast won't happen, but I have some time to decide. Same for Whispering Canyon--I will cancel when we know further plans. As far as July 4th goes, I am hoping I can cancel LTT as I'd much rather eat at Narcosees and be on a Wishes cruise. :wizard: July 4th is my 40th birthday, so no matter what, I'm going to see the MK fireworks that night. If it gets so crazy in MK that we have to leave and view them from the Poly beach, I'll be disappointed, but ok. I mentioned to DH that I've heard the Epcot fireworks are great, but he pointed out that this entire trip is so I cna celebrate 40 at the MK with fireworks ON my birthday--July 3rd just won't do for that, he said. I do :lovestruc him!
