Sadly, in the middle of our vacation I often get a migraine. The sun, and heat always get to me

drink plenty of water or gatoraide of something like it. In 1984, I went to MK with a friend of mine. I probably wasn't used to the heat either. The only memory I have of that trip other than the arm fulls of stuffed animals we bought was my huge headache, and walking into all the stores looking for aspirin. I was watching the Electric Light Parade in agony. The light made it worse and we ended up leaving. I usually now know to head off a migraine by getting plenty of fluids. Keep apirin and tylenol at hand. I find a great migraine reliever to be 1 aspirin, 1 tylenol and a nice cup of Earl Grey tea! Yeah England Pavilion.

Follow me to 1:30 am, my husband rolls over and punches me directly in the nose. Nothing like being woke (or is it woken) up from a dead sleep by a sock in the nose. Oh my gosh, did he feel bad! I tried to tell him I was all right, but I had to get up to blow my nose. It made me get congested. So he asked if I was okay until about 2 this morning. Hmm, maybe I will get to leave on Thursday night.

Note to self: Go to AC Moore to buy supplies for awesome autograph books. Did not do this yet and we're leaving on Saturday. DD7 and DN10 said they want them. I'm forcing myself to leave my personal photo printer at home (even though I have a travel case for it). Scrapbooking can wait til I get home. "Repeat".

I am going to TRY to make a "live" trip report since I'll have my laptop. I can't use my cell phone for updates though.. too high tech for me!!

2 day 2 days 2 days!! I just hope this is a magical trip for MIL and niece!!

I love all the crafts going on! I have to definitely drop by home depot to make some mickey tags! I would love to be spotted one day!!! lol

We check in in 10 days and I cant wait! The wedding is next friday and I am looking forward to the honeymoon!!

I did do some major dis things though- check out the cake I made for my fiance as a surprise for the rehearsal dinner!

Thatis sure to put him into the disney mood this week!!!

WOW... what an awesome cake!! You are very creative. That looks like fondant. I have always wanted to try working with fondant. It is difficult? Is fondant fussy and hard to work with? MY DD21 LOVES the bride and groom Mickey and Minnie hats on the cake.

Flipflop mom... I hear you about the roads in TN! When I had MY learner's permit, I ended up driving at night on our way home from Chattanooga in my parent's 78' Buick LaSabre. It was a massive car and I remember this winding road that went up and then down hugging the edge of a mountain. Definitely didn't want to look over the edge. It was scary!! And not like the roads around here in NoVA.

Y'all are so sweet! Thanks for all of your kind words and well wishes. I really appreciate it. I hate that I found you all so late. I was a member of a group 2 years ago similar to this and we were all planning together for 4 or 5 months and became really close like many of you are and some of us still talk occasionaly to this day. DIS friends are the best!

Has anybody tried wearing Reef flip flops in WDW? They looked cute and I love to wear flip flops, but my Old Navy ones definitely didn't do the job last year!

Footwear??

Has anybody tried wearing Reef flip flops in WDW? They looked cute and I love to wear flip flops, but my Old Navy ones definitely didn't do the job last year!

My girls and I will be wearing my Crocs again on this trip -- Malindis. Love, love, love, love them. DD10 wore flip-flops one day on our last trip but her Crocs were much better.

We are going 14 days and have 10 days passes, so we do get to hang out.

It just means that I stay in the room with closed blinds and watch lifetime or abc family (which we don't have here and I love)

I'm sitting right beside you on the worry wagon. There's a nasty virus going around town and I'm so worried that one of us will catch it. Also, DH has been bitten by a tick and stung by bees several times over the last couple weeks.......after a round on antibiotics for the tick bite, his arm is still bothering him. I'm worried that he'll be sick from that while we are in Disney.

It's so stressful trying to make sure your family has a stress free vacation. Lol!

You are the coolest cat ever! What a great idea! It's strange how a common goal connects people! We'll probably still be posting to this thread in July 2010 - wonder how many parts we'll get to until they move us from teh Happy Dance thread to the community board???/


DH just called. He got the cortisone shot and is PAIN FREE!!!!! Not sure how long it will last, Dr. said probably 4-5 days, but gave him a prescrip. and some self care to make it through the week!

My house is almost clean! Going to take my bubble bath now, then I'll mop the bathrooms, kitchen will wait until tomorrow b/c that's where all the suitcases are and need to finish vaccuuming upstairs. All packed except for Dh's swimtrunks, and last minute toiletries. Clothes for ride are laid out, Snacks packed, getting it done.

You guys will get this! I thought at one time today - "I'll be there tomorrow!".... No, stupid, you leave tomorrow night. The last thing on my "do right before going out the door" is say goodbye to July Disers and unplug PC!
