*** Official Jollywood Nights 2024 ***

how do you/did you decide between Jollywood nights and mickeys Christmas party at MK? - what were your deciding factors
I decided that we're going to do one of each; DW was OK if we only did MVMCP. Though they are both holiday parties, they're very different, with a different atmosphere and vibe. We've done a few Dapper Days, and JN is more of an adult upscale party where you'll fit right in if you're all dressed up. And at either event, we tend to do more party exclusive experiences vs. racing to the next ride.

I know there were issues early on with lines for food/drink last year. Did they end up sorting that out in the end. The food choices look fantastic, I’m hungry just looking at them! But want to be realistic in what we can fit in between the shows we want to see, a couple rides and maybe one character meet!

We’re doing Jollywood because I’m curious about the skating and some of the other shows. We decided not to do MVMCP because we’ve done it the past two years in a row and it didn’t seem to have much new offerings.

The live music is what I'm looking forward to, however, I hope they add musicians and cycle them through the evening. I've always had terrible luck with starting to watch a band right before a break. Hire two groups so the music is continuous throughout the night would be the easiest solution.

The performance times for each are already published so you can plan which to attend.

If it's sold out, a sold out party should be the same crowds regardless of the night.
If it's not sold out, I think crowds will be great as last year's looked.
I know, no real history to base it on, but did any sell out last November? I am really struggling with getting up to got to MK the next morning, and if I could move to Saturday, that is our last night, so we could sleep in Sunday.

I'm not sure, sorry.

We are doing a Saturday. The only reason I can think would be more crowds is if locals come that night, but honestly if not sold out, I don't think there will be much difference and if sold out I still think won't be too bad?

The first party was bad because of logistics and the fact that a lot of people came the first night to review it and they all waited in line for all the food items and all the shows, so crowds weren't as spread as they normally are during parties. Plus the fact I don't think Disney was prepared. Every party after the first was much more organized, so I'm hopeful even sold out parties will be fine.

All JN Sold out? Thank you, that makes me feel better. I may call and beg to switch to Saturday and pay the difference,
Yes.
One was cancelled due weather.
This was the final update to the DFB ticket tracking page.
I have never had an issue changing one date for another that was still available for the parties. It’s not like you’re asking for a refund.

The first night of Jollywood last year had a lot of issues, especially, but not limited to, the lines for food and drinks. It got better by the second party and continued to improve as the season went on. I'm going to the first party this year and I fully expect they will have learned from last year's missteps and everything will be running smoothly.
