Called right at 7:00 on both numbers. 1 hour wait on one and 2 hour wait on another. Not sure I can hold that long. Insane.

I am hold with Disney Dining, decided to try 5 minutes ago the AP line on another phone..that was 2 hours. Will try MS at 9, if all else fails. Good Luck everyone!
:wizard:

I got right through at 7:00! However, since my AP isn't activated yet (going in this month) she said I had to call the Passholders line. 2 1/2 hour wait there...and now 2+ hour wait on the WDW FEST line. So frustrating!

Oh no - that's my situation too, and I'm on hold at WDW FEST. Now wondering if I should bail and call DVC number at 9.

Thank you for posting this as I am in the same boat (activating AP in 2 weeks). So guess I won’t do the 1-hour hold! I’m also DVC so will try them at 9:00 but am not optimistic! ☹️

After waiting 19 minutes my called failed. It is had said over 15 minutes when I called right at 7. Of course now it is over 90. Ugh.

So, for the 5pm show, is it possible to do the dinner after the show? I didn't know this was a possibility, but I thought I read it somewhere that it is. Thanks!
Anyone know if dinner can be AFTER the 5:00 Showtime, thanks!
:thanks:

In years past you couldn't, however there is new language this year that seems to indicate you can. See below "know before you go" info.

  • This experience requires 2 table-service entitlements for Disney Dining Plan and Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.
  • Candlelight Processional Dining Packages are only offered during the holiday season.
  • Tax and gratuity are not included in the prices shown here.
  • Alcohol will only be served to Guests ages 21 and older.
  • Call (407) WDW-FEST or (407) 939-3378 for additional information and reservations. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call. You may also visit Epcot International Festival of the Holidays for the latest information.
  • Prepayment is required. Guests who cancel reservations within 48 hours of the event will forfeit the entire package price.
  • Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 180 days prior to your visit.
  • Guests will receive seating vouchers for Candlelight Processional at the restaurant where they are dining. The order of each experience may vary, with the dining component coming either before or after the show. If dining following the show, please check-in at the restaurant no later than 15 minutes prior to show time to receive your badges. Badges will specify the date and show time you have reserved.
  • Guests with the Dining Package will enter the theatre in a separate queue and will be seated on a first-come, first served basis. Seating guaranteed.
  • Guests who have not reserved a Candlelight Processional Dining Package will be seated at the Candlelight Processional on a first-come, first-served basis. Based on availability due to limited capacity.
  • Separate Epcot admission is required and is not included in the price of the dining package.

I am kicking myself now. I should have pushed it...the gold pass is listed right in MDE. I am sure if she had looked up my info she would have seen it.

We got through in about 20 minutes. However, we wanted the 6:45 show on 12/2 and we’re getting told Biergarten is the only restaurant still available for reservations. It’s fine; we like it there. But I know that can’t be true, a half-hour after opening. :🤷:

I am on hold with WDW FEST, but if I am not through then I will also try DVC at 9.

When I first got through the cast member said that dining reservation doesn't open until tomorrow. I said, no, it opens today for AP holders and DVC members. I kind of knew I was in trouble with that statement!

Irritated. Simply bc my wait time was projected at less than 4 minutes and it’s been 30. Did I get lost in the queue....

Agreed, I doubt that's the only one open. Not sure if this works the same as the Food & Wine events but for those they typically don't release all "inventory" for the early registration. It's possible that their limited release is "sold out" with more to be released tomorrow.

Yip same here. Initially told 30 min wait. Call failed after 22 mins. Called again, - now 90 mins. :rolleyes2

I’ve given up on the hold since my AP is not activated yet & I can’t afford the time, esp seeing comments about restaurants already being sold out. Whole thing seems crazy. I’ll try DVC again at 9:00. If that doesn’t work does anyone know if booking will open up tomorrow online at 6:00 am or requires a phone call again? And if so, is one number better than another?

Going out for a run now to clear my head!

Online booking should be available tomorrow morning at 6am ET. I think generally the DVC # seems to be better, if that's an option. I can't imagine that restaurants really are sold out but it is possible they haven't released all the tables in their inventory and since the agent can't pull it up, they assume it's sold out. That happens a lot with Food & Wine events.
