Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

AKL to Boardwalk suggestions?
As above, bus to DHS, walk or boat to BW. The boat does stop at BW on its way to Epcot, so you have the choice to get off at Swan/Dolphin and walk over the bridge to get to BW sooner or ride all the way to BW (another 10-15 minutes) to save your feet the steps. Your choice! You could also take the Skyliner from DHS to CBR, transfer to the Epcot line, get off at the IG and walk to BW. Depending on time of day (e.g. near Epcot opening time) it might take the same amount of time as the boat or longer. Walking DHS to BW is the fastest in any case.

Need help with park hopping transportation, please. Our trip is 12/18 - 12/23, and I know it will be busy. We could use a ride share, but have always used Disney transport in previous trips. It has been 5 years since our last trip so I feel a little rusty.

* what is the best transport from MK to DHS?
* AK to Epcot?
*HS to Epcot?
*HS to MK

Thank you so much!

what is the best transport from:
*MK to DHS - Bus
*AK to Epcot - Bus
*HS to Epcot - Skyliner/Friendship Boat
*HS to MK - Bus

Does anyone know if there’s a difference in the frequency of MK busses at the Epcot resorts? Meaning do busses tend to come more frequently ro one over the others? (Excluding swan/Dolphin)

Also, does anyone have recent experience on ride share wait times and surge pricing on busy days/times?

Buses are supposed to run equally at all the resorts. In reality, sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t, but there isn’t a particular resort that has better or worse bus service than the other. My understanding is that YC and BC have their own buses during busy morning hours (maybe at park closing as well, I don’t know) but share the rest of the time. BWV doesn’t share anymore (hooray!) except for DS, which it shares with YC and BC.

Re rideshare, my DD and DSiL were there the week before Thanksgiving and used rideshare a lot (stayed offsite). She said when they closed down a park they had to wait 15 minutes or so for a ride, and I think they paid surge pricing then too, but I don’t have dollar amounts.

Best way to get from POR to Riviera for a 7:50 am breakfast on a day that Skyliner is closed for refurbishment? I’m assuming rideshare but are there any other options?

Will be going in February from Wilderness Lodge to Trail's End for breakfast. Am I correct in thinking bus is the only way (boat not an option as of now and no walking path)?

From Trail's End, what's the best way to get to Disney Springs? Is there a direct bus from the Settlement or do we need to transfer at the Outpost to a new bus? I guess ridesharing would be fastest, but if there's a better free way, please let me know!

You're right - take the yellow bus from WL to the Settlement for Trail's End. And you'd have a choice to take the yellow bus back to WL and then transfer to a DS bus, or take the internal bus from Settlement to Outpost and catch the DS bus there. I would probably take the yellow bus to WL in order to miss the internal stops between Settlement and Outpost.

I don't know if I dreamt this or what, but are there limitations on bus service to/from Disney Springs? Thinking we want to go from DHS to DS and then DS to POP. Is that possible on direct buses?

The buses are not currently running from the parks to DS. You will need to go to a resort and take a bus to DS from there.

There are buses that run from DS to Pop on a regular basis, just be prepared for quite a walk to the Pop bus stop at DS.

We are staying at Caribbean Beach Feb 12-17. We arrive later in the day and have a reservation for Beaches and Cream. Best option to travel there, using Disney transportation?

Thank you. Signs will point to a pathway or something to Beach Club after i get off the Skyliner, I suppose?
I can't remember whether there's a sign or not, but when you exit the Skyliner station, the BC is directly on your right, so just take a right turn and walk to the main entrance of the resort. After you enter the lobby, you'll need to walk down a hallway to the left and then outside to the pool area to find B&C. The map in MDE will guide you there - when you exit the Skyliner, open the map, search for B&C, and click Get Directions.

Starting to panic a little and could use some help!

Which is faster at MK close, after Enchantment (once we've exited the park):

Bus to Boardwalk?
Bus to Yacht Club?
(or are we better off just grabbing which ever comes first?)

What is the travel time for each?

Second: If I chose to Lyft from TTC to Boardwalk, how much time should I give myself to get to TTC then Lyft to Boardwalk?

Third: Can I walk to CR then Lyft to Boardwalk, and if so how much time should I give myself?
