We are doing parks over Thanksgiving and then leaving on a Disney cruise. Friday will be our last day in the parks. We will not have rental car. We'll be taking Happy Limo to Cocoa Beach Friday night. We have a Boma reservation at 7:40. After dinner, we will need to head back to AofA for our Happy Limo pick up because we'll have to get our luggage. Animal Kingdom closes at 8. I know there isn't resort to resort transportation. So which park should I go to in order to catch an AofA bus? I know, I can do any, but which is the closest?

Aslo, we are watching reservations to try to snag a time between 6 and 7 at Boma instead. If AK closes at 8, what is the latest I can expect to get a bus going from AKL to AK?

The bus to AK from AKL should run for a bit after park closing, I would think. If that isn't an option, head to either Epcot or DHS. Those parks are the closest to AoA...then transfer to the AoA bus at that park.

Both 1 and 2...bus to MK, then boat to FtW. Pioneer Hal is a 3 min walk up the path from the boat dock. I usually plan on a bit more than an hour.
3. Monorail to the Polynesian....leave about 90 mins to be sure.
4. Be out at the MK bus stop by 7-7:15. Buses run starting at 6:30 but tend to run less frequently until about an hour prior to park opening.
5. Bus to MK, boat or monorail to GF. Again...leave about 90 mins.
6. Bus to BC. Leave an hour to be on the safe side.
7. If it's at the CR, it takes less than 10 mins to walk from MK.
8. Bus to MK, walk to CR....leave about an hour total.

If it were me, I would hop on the bus to AK, then transfer to the AKL bus. Or, you can head to any park and then take the bus to AKL.

Epcot and DHS are the closest parks to CBR so I would get on whichever bus comes first. Anecdotally I recall waiting the longest at AK for buses to come so while I would personally avoid it, it's still a good option. The MK is definitely too far out of the way.

Thank you to both for the help. I realized after asking that AK closes at 5:00 the day we are heading from CBR to AKL for dinner at Boma. So it looks like DH or Epcot will work best. I will take your advice and grab the first bus!

Disney buses start at 6:30 every day, but with no resort to resort buses (which would mean transferring at a park) and an ADR that early, you'd be better off driving.

depending on your plans that day and if you were planning on using the bus system the rest of the day it might be best to just get a cab.. we use the cab services frequently at wdw and its never more than $15.00 or so..

OK. I will be at MK on November 16th. My wife and i have VIP seating at the ESPN Club for a 1pm NFL game and cannot be late.

What is the best route to get from MK to the Boardwalk? Also how long would you think it would be? Could we leave MK at 12:15 and get there by 12:50 or so?

Also we plan to go to Epcot after the game and i have read that you can leave Epcot through the back gate and get to the Boardwalk but can you enter Epcot coming from the Boardwalk without circling around?

Take a bus to BW. Be out at the bus stops no later than noon. You could very well have a minimal wait but you could also end up waiting 20 or so mins for the bus to get there! I like to leave an hour to get from point A to point B when in WDW.
You can enter Epcot via the International Gateway. This puts you in WS, in between England and the bridge to France. You would then walk through WS and into FutureWorld in order to leave the park.

Boardwalk is a resort, so there is direct transportation from all parks.

It won't stop at other parks, but it may stop at other Epcot area resorts.

At that time of day, most buses from MK stop at BW first, but there's a possibility one may stop at the Swan & Dolphin first, or even a slight chance it could stop at all 4 other Epcot resorts before BW.

And if that's the case, you should just get off at the first resort and walk.

1. Direct bus from DHS to Ft Wilderness' Outpost stop, then internal bus.
2. 6:30 a.m.
3. Depends. If the boat launch is at the MK dock or approaching, it will stop at the GF first. It's about a 5-10 minute ride. Ten minutes for the monorail.

Take a taxi to The Contemporary and Walk to MK. You can look up travel times and fares at taxifarefinder.com

Renting a car for the day will be significantly cheaper.

When you rent a car, and park at the TTC, would it take longer to get there than if you take a taxi to contemporary? I am not as concerned about the cost. Time is more important to me.
