I've been doing it since I was tiny!" Jackie exclaimed, imitating Emma's voice. Jackie put her nail file back into her handbag and stood up. She began walking away from Troy, hoping he would run after her.

**troy runs up to jackie to ask her another question**
so, Emma doesn't really like to surf she was just trying to get close to me?

Quickly spinning around to see Troy's glowing face, she answered with a satisfying grin, "It doesn't take a genius to work that one out! To be honest, I feel kinda sorry for her, she hasn't had much luck with love so I suppose she thought she had a chance with you. Shame really, 'cause deep down she's a sweet girl"

I don't understand, I thought she liked me for me not because I was just popular and good looking.

Noticing that he is upset, she gives him a quick, friendly hug and tries to comfort him, "Look I didn't mean to upset you but I just want to be honest with you. I don't wanna be one of those people who makes up lies, that's so not me! With me, what you see is what you get!"

"Me? Geez...I'm really flattered, honestly I am but don't you and Geek-eralla have something going on? I mean I wouldn't wanna make things awkward between you two," Jackie replied, trying not to seem too excited but secretly inside so happy! She began twiddling her hair with her fingers and then put her hands quickly down by her side realising that it was beginning to rain.

Running after Troy, Jackie exclaims, "Wait, no...I was being stupid, I mean Geek-eralla is away isn't she? Soo you need to someone to hang out with. And I would love to be that girl!"
'Urgh...why didn't I bring my hair serum with me, now my hair is going to be all curly, urgh not a good look,' Jackie thought

**troy pulls Jackie back to his house and gives her time to dry off**

Jackie enters through the front door of Troy's house. She looks around the hallway, amazed at how huge the house is. She sits at the bottom of the stairs and gets out a compact mirror from within her handbag and looks at herself in the mirror. "Urgh, I look a total wreck!" Jackie moaned as she noticed smudges of black around her eyes and her hair forming curls as it began to dry. "So what are your plans for the rest of the day? I mean I was suppose to be meeting up with Sharpay but I could reschedule," Jackie asked, hoping to spend time with her new boyfriend, Troy, the guy everyone fancied! 'Wait til I tell Sharpay that Troy is all mine! I hope she doesn't mind?' Jackie thought.

I don't know what I'm doing, I think we were supposed to have basketball practice here outside today but I think we can forget that.

"Oh thank you that's sweet. I should freshen up, I mean I look awful and I don't want to embarass you infront of your family," Jackie replied, getting up from the stairs and walking towards the direction of the bathroom, peering through the doors of the rooms, hoping to see his siblings or even his parents. 'I wonder if he has a brother?' Jackie thought.Without closing the door, Jackie looked at herself in the mirror and began to reapply her make-up, putting slightly more on than usual, hoping to get a compliment from Troy.

I'm not sure if anyone is even home, but it's ok, they don't care what people look like.

**sure enough Troy's mother comes down the hall and say's Troy, I just saw someone go into the bathroom, and I guessed it was Emma but she didn't like look her.**

Hearing Troy speaking to what seems like his mother, she shoves her make-up into her handbag and quickly runs some hair serum through her hair. She walks out of the bathroom and smiles sweetly at Troy's mother, "Good afternoon, I'm Jacklyn and I'm one of Troy's friends, well actually we've just started dating so we're a bit more than friends," Jackie announces, blushing and trying to impress his mother. 'Jacklyn? No one EVER calls me that! Oh well that will make me seem more...what's that word, intellectual? Yeah intellectual. I hope she likes me!' Jacke thought.

Troy makes motion to not say anything about us "dating".



**troy's mother, oh nice to meet you Jacklyn. I'm sorry I thought you were Troy's other friend Emma. so troy you aren't dating gabriella anymore?**

Seeing Troy's worried look on his face, she played along, "Oh there's a misunderstanding, when I say dating I mean we hang out, you know going to the park, going out for lunch, watching a movie at the cinema. We're just good friends. And Gabrialla and I are really good mates so that would just be like, you know, a total sin!" Jackie explaining, giggling nervously.
'Great, so Troy's embarassed about me? I knew I should have put that Dior lipgloss on,' Jackie thought.

hahaha, ya, Troy laughed nervously because he was afraid of his mothers reaction. ya so see ya later mom. So, what do you want to do now? we have a movie theater downstairs. it's very private.

**troy's mother responds, nice to meet you Jacklyn, ok see you later Troy. MRS. Bolton goes away and mutters, geez he gets more girls than the richest guy on earth.**

"Urm yeah that would be cool!" Jackie answered. Suddenly, she felt a violent vibration from within her handbag. She quickly unzipped her bag and grabbed her cellphone. On the screen it read: 1 MESSAGE RECEIVED. She clicked a button to read the message. "Oh it's Sharpay. What does SHE want?"
