Of course more questions than answers and I am crying over the fact that Takei is DEAD! NOOOOOO!!!!!! It can't be.

So who took him over the edge? I guess it was Sylar right?

My take is that he is haunted by Peter's death (or so he thinks). When he saw the scarred up face in the mirror, he was "seeing" Peter with horrible burns and feeling guilt. He is just falling apart without his brother.

Don't know why he didn't take office, though- he should have been sworn in at Congress by now. Maybe the Board of Elections figured out the election was rigged??

I thought it was a great season opener. I was nervous that it would come back strong like last year but they proved me wrong.

I don't think he "knows". I think he has a suspicion. When he walked in on her in the gym, and saw her on the floor. He looked up and saw how high the platform was, he knew she jumped. (BTW, that scene was GROSS).

That's what I think anyway. or maybe he sensed it from the minute she walked in front of his car??

I couldn't tell who was on the ground after hooded-man shoved Hiro's dad off the roof. Was it the hooded-man? One of them was gone when Ando looked down. Maybe we get to fidn out what Hiro's dad power is.

LOVE that Ando is back this season. How did he get back to NYC I wonder??? Hiro sent him back to Japan. Do you think he will discover a power of his own? I like the idea of a normal guy being a hero also.

Too bad about Matt and his wife. But I like the idea of him and Mohinder raising Molly.

I thought he was creepy last year, but I am now in love with HRG. I loved the dinner scene last night. So much for keeping a low profile..LOL

I am so very happy Heroes is BACK!!!!

Awesome opening episode. Lots of new questions. Can't wait to see how the Honduras girl does what she does. Sylar is alive. Peter is alive. A new villain is out there. Yay!

My thoughts & questions:

1. alejandro can shut off Maya's power/virus or whatever. It must come on if he isn't there.

2. HRG & Mohinder are working together? Wow!

3. Mohinder looks more together, not so immature/young in face.

4. West... a plant? He just seems to know to much?

5. Guess the Versa is gone. Could you tell that by the middle commericals?!

6. The 9 that Mr. Nakamura mentioned... The Peterili's, him, Deveroux is 4. who are the other 5?

7. Angela Peterilli is a witch. Kinda funny seeing her as her world colapses areound her.

8. What was Hiro's dad's power?

9. Why did it take Ando so long to get a sword and was it Kensei's sword?

10. Think Ando will wait for Hiro in NY? It was nice that he came back for Hiro's dad, to be with him.

13. Who told the Irish guy to get that container? They wanted him to find Peter, but how & why? Where did the container come from?

16. Hmm.. Kensei is a drunk Englishman, a mercenary out for himself. Makes you wonder if Hiro had gone back and made him who he was.

With my DVR I can record and watch.

With TiVo as well, but you don't have to. We're typically in bed by 9PM, and last night we were watching the shows that were on after 9PM on Sunday night.

My opinions, some already said above... Maya has something like a virus(?) that her brother shuts off when he is near her. When seperated, it activates? Not sure what it does, turn their blood black..? They are putting a lot of faith in Mohinder's dad when they aren't even sure where he is!

I don't hink it was Sylar, cause Hiro's dad knew him. I believe he was ond of the 9 in the company. And he was a guy. Makes that interesting!

Not sure on Nathan, but he is drinking and sure not in office. Not sure if he saw himself or Peter as he last saw him. I think peter flung him away before he exploded, but it is just a guess.

I'm still pondering the episode. Will have to go back and watch it.

1) Looks like Alejandro and Maya are some sort of wonder twins. Only she causes people to hemorrhage and their blood to go black, and he can keep her from doing it.

4) West definitely has to be a plant

6) I think finding out the 9 is going to be a central storyline to the season

8) I think we'll find out more about what Mr N's power was.

9) I think Ando went to get Kensei's sword

10) I think Ando will wait for Hiro. Maybe hook up with one of the other heroes. An interview over the summer said we see Ando kicking butt on his own.

12) I have to go back and watch it. DH and I thought Nathan saw Peter in the mirror from Peter absorbing Jessica's power, but that doesn't make sense.

13) I think someone in the company knew about Peter's location and container.

15) I think Peter did it, and I'm not sure if it was lightning power, or a variation of the radiation power. Either way, someone tied him up in the container and he could have subconsciously absorbed another power.

16) I was really happy with the Kensei character. I love Mr Sark so I was so happy he's on it. I thought the comedic angle was great. The twist is a great idea. I think Hiro is going to pretend to be Kensei in order to set things right.

No, it couldn't have been Sylar because Hiro's dad said something like, "Of all the people I expected, I never expected YOU," implying that the hooded man was not someone known to be evil.

Also, I may have misunderstood, but I thought he listed off four of the older generation of heroes, and then said something about "that leaves nine." Wouldn't that mean there were originally thirteen?

I was a tiny bit, just a tiny bit disappointed that someone who did not watch last season can't just start watching it. It would be way too confusing for someone to just pick up and watch it.

Oh well, I watched last season, so I know exactly what is going on!!!!
