Hey KCmike! We're BC fans at WDW, but I just saw your screen name on the resort photo board, and remembered you from the Grand Californian thread last summer! (We're the Newport Beach/Catalina Island fans!) Hope you have a great WDW trip!

HEY HEY!!! Good to see you over here as well. Really excited about Grand Floridian. I'll miss Newport, Corona del Mar, and Disneyland. So Beach Club is pretty awesome? Would like to hear why......

We miss Newport and DL too!

And we just LOVE it at BC, but I don't think I'm supposed to post about that on the GF photo thread! So I'll try to be brief - location is perfect for us - it's almost like the proximity of GCH to DCA. We have most dinner ADRs in Epcot, so we spend the day at DHS, MK or AK, stop at BC for a break and go to Epcot in the evening, and then stroll right out the International Gateway to our room at BC! Since we're walkers (in Newport we walk from peninsula to Balboa Island every morning and back!) we prefer to walk to parks than use any other mode of transportation (even monorail!) At BC, we can walk to TWO parks (Epcot and DHS) so that's a huge benefit for us. The pool is amazing - like a mini water park. We also love the BC theme and the room decor. We enjoy the Crescent Lake area - we can walk over to Boardwalk for shopping/dining too.
