We've always had the Northern Leopard Frog in our little tiny pond, but this year I think we have a bull frog. At least I really hope that is what making the weird sounds out there.

I copied this from "freap chat" where I posted the original "Oh Woe is Me" message...
Ok-I'm about to start a "Oh Woe is Me"...so be prepared to skip the message. My feet have been KILLING me for the past 9 mts to 1 yr (yes haven't quite been taking care of myself because I was dealing with the school district regarding ds's services - or lack thereof) now that ds is settled in private placement and a happy little guy (almost as tall as me and he's only 11) I figure I will make an appointment with a podiatrist thinking I have plantar fasciitis. He takes x-ray, puts 'em on the wall and point - "see this, you are on your way to a stress fracture of your heel" WHAT?!

Here the "Woe is Me" part. I have to wear a freakin' walking cast for the next 5-6 weeks!!! "But it's cute shoe season" I told him. "Not for you it isn't" he tells me.

This cast weighs about 5 pds. It's like wearing a ski boot. and its HOT!

So here I am trying to load up the RV (which is parked across the street 'cause it won't fit in the driveway

) hobbling back and forth with a laundry basket full of RV crap - I can't wait until the fun begins...

Hadn't tought of decorating my BOOT, it is the very exciting colour GREY (ick)

I should post pictures of my frog tattoos I have 3 of them now. I used to have a HUGE collection of frogs. Since we moved to Arizona I just have a few choice pieces left and now I'm thinking to collect monkeys. Although I don't think I will be getting any monkey tattoo's though..lol..

lol yes they are on my right ankle, I seriously was in love with frogs for the longest time. One of my frogs is actually a design from the back of a tshirt that my son now has. I also have a butterfly on my shoulder. I am planning on adding a Disney character to represent each of my children. I would totally LOVE to have the Disneyland castle on my lower back with roses. I will have Raine take some pictures

Ok, I am bored and in a little bit of a funk. Just when ya think everything is honky dory... The school district has totally boched up my son's transportation (found out this morning) and there is a good chance that we might lose his driver that he has had for the past year. This guy is AWESOME. He is a sweet older gentleman who takes Max at face value and truly enjoys him and Max is quite fond of him as well. The two of them have become pals. Max is putting on a brave face, but I know how upsetting this is to him and it just eats me up inside to think was the emotional toll this takes on him.

Whew! I feel better - I just hope it works out. So any frog stories...Kat any pics of those tattoos coming...I think if and it's a really big IF I ever got a tattoo it would be a little froggy...

so sorry to hear this tinker...... don't they get that they should not mess with what works for the kids. really. hope they straighten it out for Max before school starts.

I saw baby toads in my yard yesterday. Whittle bitty baby toads. They were soo cute. They hopped under my porch before I could call DH with the camera. Maybe I'll go see if I can find some today.

Thanks Holly, Max is in a full year program, althougth in summer it's more like Camp, they do weekly field trips and go swimming once a week and NO HOMEWORK ! It's a full year program because kids with Asperger's THRIVE on routine...(and that's why I get peeved that the school district messes with his transportation - they really don't get it) Anyway I should be happy he is doing so well. There was a time when I thought they were going recommend residential placement and now we talk about which University he is going to attend...(he wants to go to MIT, he knows Bill Gates has Asperger's and wants to design operating systems just like he did)

ok so he goes all year round and they just all of a sudden changed his driver. what the heck????? why would they???? just to mess with peoples routine??? if they know that he goes year round why would ya mess with that people???? really???? so when will you find out and how is Max handling it?

Yup, no rhyme or reason, just got a phone call this morning telling me that they had sent the job out to bid and another company would be transporting (which is fine - but heck give me a least one days notice). So I am trying to work it out with diplomatically. Max is being really brave about it...Saying that he and Al (his driver) will always know each other and be friends and that maybe we should invite Al and his wife over to visit some time...But then he is getting upset with something else on the computer so I know it's bothering him.

So I am trying to work it out with diplomatically. Max is being really brave about it...Saying that he and Al (his driver) will always know each other and be friends and that maybe we should invite Al and his wife over to visit some time...But then he is getting upset with something else on the computer so I know it's bothering him.

Now why wouldn't they tell you at the time they sent the bids out that there might be a change. And I'm pretty darn sure they didn't sign the contracts yesterday and the new guy started today. They could have given you more notice. But then they are not looking out for you, only themselves.
