Heading to Art of Animation during Hell week, I mean Presidents week. Hoping for lower crowds and higher temps

Cap'n, your niece has a VERY sweet uncle! Most of the latest stories I've heard are of Anna and Elsa being separate despite the same line, though. Are folks able to get one with both of them? Much like Belledreamer (LOVE the name, btw), my younger DSis and I are a lot like Elsa and Anna, so much so that we dressed up as them to entertain Trick-or-Treaters this past Halloween and hope to modify the outfits for Florida weather and our FP+. I'd love one with both girls!

Captain Hook is a riot to meet, imho! I had a "swordfight" with him during Pirate Week of Limited Time Magic. His hook vs. my Keyblade keychain, all because I had just come from Peter Pan signing one of his hats (which I wore, of course). Great memory! It's one of my favorite meets.

Does anyone else have some good M&G stories? Mickey was the first I ever met hence why I'm wanting to honor that with a repeat this year.

Well thank you for the kind words as well. Well I think with my niece as long as she has pictures of them both she will happy and that is weird that they don't have together. Any reason why not? That would speed up lines wouldn't it? I am sure all the Halloween trick or treaters must have been happy to see Elsa and Anna open the door. My niece of would of never left your house lol

My best interaction was with Captain Hook. I had a shirt with a beach on it when I saw him and he reacted with his Hook against my shirt. I asked him do you think there is gold no the beach and he nodded yet. I said he could share it and he nodded NO! lol Also Stitch at O'Hana got real close to me and decided he wanted to be silly and bad and put his finger in my nose literally lol Quite interesting to say the least. Second fav character he is. And yes, hook is always a riot!

Well I WAS going to WDW Jan. 30th to Feb. 6th with my boyfriend.... but I guess I'll settle for going with my new fiancé Engaged at WDW! This is going to be so much fun!!

Any tips for fun things to do in the park once engaged? We'll definitely be buying the Bride and Groom Mickey and Minnie ears.

Congrats!! Get the "Engaged" buttons to wear and if you have ADRs, call and have that celebration added to it. They may not do anything special but it's worth a shot! Again congrats!

Congratulations!! You could always get a photopass photographer to take a re-enactment photo in front of your favorite spot in the World? Or with your favorite characters reacting to your wonderful news? No other ideas but just absolutely have an amazing time!!

Those are some great interactions! Is there anyone more strange than Stitch? He scared our baby cousin at 'Ohana and we had to get Lilo to scold him. No nose picking for us.

Your niece would have been more than welcome to hang out! Yes, we had some kids scream "ANNA AND ELSA!!!!" then race up the yard when they saw us. I've been doing this 10+ years just to keep dressing up and so far have been able to stand outside with themed music and decoration for the majority of them so we can see the kids coming and get a gimmick ready. (One year a little Harry Potter got to "expecto patronum" my Wicked Witch of the West into the bushes.) The kids all know by now they'll get extra candy if they can make the crazy lady break character, yet even with themed music, "Oaken's Finest Hot Chocolate" to keep parents warm and our scarecrow dressed like Olaf, the dang guy in the back of the neighborhood who hands out soda and giant sized candy bars is always the favorite. Some day we'll top him. Some day..... (Sorry, I could talk dress up/Cosplay/Disneybounding all day )

Amazing! Well we definitely want to get a pic by the BATB mural. That's the big want. I even got a cute yellow dress to wear with "the rose" necklace the day we go to BOG. Can we still get a photopass photographer to take our pics if we didn't purchase the memory maker?

And, funnily enough, I've been doing the dress up thing too for 10 years now (that's me as Belle in my avatar)! This is my A&E next to each other. (when in reality I have dark brown hair and brown eyes, haha!)

Wow, your Belle cosplay is absolutely beautiful! So are the Anna and Elsa! I'll admit, my dress-up is not as elaborate and definitely more "what can I find in my closet?", but either way it's still fun, right? I love what you have in mind for your BOG dinner! As far as I know pictures are okay. There's even a whole thread somewhere with ideas for Disneybounding! Let me see if I can't find one of what we did for A&E.... We're both busy handing out candy so there's usually never anyone around to take photos.

Well, I can't find DSis as Anna sadly (hers was closer to the actual design), but here's one of me as Elsa. The white hairspray did not take well to my hair at all. We hung a bunch of those snowflake ornaments from the tree I'm standing under just before the kids started arriving. Oh, but there is a pic of my Dreamfinder costume in my (very overdue for more updates) PTR in my signature, sans the Figment plush I bought on our MNSSHP trip.

We will be in the world jan 29-Feb 5. It is my first trip since 2002. I am going with my husband (who is not a Disney guy) my father (the original Disney guy) and my four year old daughter (total Disney princess). Excited doesn't even start it for me. This will be my thirteenth trip, and I have everything done FP, dinning all done. I can't believe I am going back to my favorite place on earth. It has been way to long. Anyone have tips on dressing little girls as princesses in the parks? I am taking a handmade Cinderella and Elsa costume. I have the FP for both. Am I going overboard or do people still do this?

Hooray! We received our Disney travel package today with our Magical Express luggage tags and Mickey tags!

DH, I, and DD7, will be at POR from Feb. 8th to the 15th for our daughter's first WDW experience. We will surprise her on the morning we leave

Now we just have to wait for the Magic Bands to arrive and keep planning/packing

This morning I was doing my normal check of the magicband status and I nocited that serial numbers have been added to my account!! Then I went into my account and saw they have been shipped!!

YIPEE! After reading this I went and checked my email and I too have an email with tracking numbers. MY MAGIC BAND is on its way to me! Now I really feel the trip is sooooo close!

***Magic Band update for me. WDW agent says everything looks fine and there are no red flags, so it should be here by the 17th. Crossing fingers, hoping he is right.

I am happy to hear your magic band will be on its way soon! Isn't it such a fun and exciting feeling. Guess we better start our packing now!

Just really hoping now my BRONCO's make it to the Super Bowl! Icing on the cake!

Oh also noticed MK is going to be open later on the 4th, so now I think I will hop over to AK and then back to MK to try and see Anna and Elsa then the desert party for Wishes!

Do you get to personalize them? Sorry you aren't able to share in this excitement. I really wish you were able to. This is my first year with magic bands. In past I have had annual pass and on our final trip Disney was just introducing the plastic cards and magic bands. Had a few green light Mickey's instead of the usual turnstyle. Was quite the change as they "herded" us all into the large building in Epcot near where the first aid station is and issued the new cards.

Have a great trip! Maybe we will see each other as I believe you are there when I am. I will have a red and white polka dot ribbon on my back pack, in case you just want to say hi if you happen to see me! I love meeting others who love Disney!
