UGH ! I stink at this Oh well,
DD's birthday cake from her third birthday was so wonderful. Wish I could post it. We celebrated at Ohana. Disney did an amazing job.

Here's the photo of the cake you got at Ohana, Tricia's Mom! Care to share what size and flavors it was, and how much it cost?

We just got back from our 1900 Park Fare dinner and DH's "frog prince" cake. It was amazing!! Our waiter said at least 50 photos were taken by staff before they delivered it, because everyone was in love with it! I'm not sure how to post photos from an iPhone, so I may have to wait until I get home to photo bucket.

thank you for your help in ordering a BOG cake! I placed an order for a 8" white cake with chocolate mouse filling, frosted in pale yellow butter cream with pink roses. We're having a custom dress made out of these fabrics

I contacted Chef Brian a couple of weeks before our dinner at California Grill on August 28th. Told him that I wanted to surprise my 16 year old son and that I wanted it to be purple and gold (school colors) and lacrosse related. Here is what we got ...

I was so happy and DS was completely shocked! And the cake itself was very moist and tasty!

DH and I just returned from a wonderful trip...the cake Chef Brian made was A-MAZING! The staff at Tony's said they had seen lots of cakes before but none like this one...

I was a little worried when we checked in since DH was standing right next to me so I couldnt ask the CM at the podium about the cake but once we had checked in she gave me a wink and I knew she was in the know...Once we finished our meal we declined desert and asked the server for the bill...it took some time for him to come back and when he did he told DH the computers were "frozen" and it would take a few minutes more..and finally came out with the cake!

I had asked for a two tier mini cake (which turned out much bigger than I anticipated) with camo print fondant and chocolate deer (DH is an avid hunter). This is how it turned out...

All in all it cost only 60$ and for the delicious taste and look of the cake I thought it was well worth it :thumbsup2 I wont hesitate to order a cake from Chef Brian again on my next trip that's for sure!

I've tried to call POR multiple times throughout the weekend to order 2 cakes for our early October visit, but no one answers. I've also left a message without a returned phone call yet. I'm starting to get a little worried :\ Does anyone know if they only take cake orders during the week?? Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

I could spend all day looking at all these amazing Cake Pictures!

I am hoping for some recommendations here.

We will have lunch at CRT on my Daughter's 8th Birthday.

There will only be three of us, my Daughter, my Mom and myself. We will spend the entire day at the MK.

Any recommendations for what type of Birthday Cake or Dessert we can get for just the three of us? Or, another idea to keep things relatively simple, yet special?

While I do not want to go "Over the Top", I still would love to create a little magic for her.

Thanks for any suggestions!
Catrin

People have been having trouble with POR recently. Try calling the main number and asking to be transferred to Boatwright's Dining Hall, then explain your predicament to them. They can put you in touch with the food and beverage manager.

Your Photobucket account has an email address associated with it (go to Account Settings, then click on the Mobile tab to see what it is). You can email the photos directly to your account from your phone. Then you have to go into Photobucket (via Safari or the Photobucket app for iOS) and grab the IMG code to paste into a post on the DIS, just like you do on your computer at home. :thumbsup2

I'm not sure if it's enough to feed 3 people, but the white chocolate Cinderella Slipper dessert is a popular choice at CRT. You can get it in dark chocolate there too. It costs $15 + tax, and you can order it from CRT's Special Events email: wdw.crt.special.events@disney.com

Otherwise, you could ask for a "podium cake" — a premade 6-inch chocolate or vanilla cake that you request when you check in at the podium—for $21 + tax.

If you want a fancy cake, like 2-tier mini cake or a custom 6-inch cake, call Contemporary Resort Private Dining (number is in Post 2 of this thread). But you're looking at at least $30 for a mini cake and $50-$60 for a very basic 6-inch cake.

Going to be at Disney for my hubbies 59th birthday this year and looking to order a cake...Made ADR's at Via Naopli for his birthday dinner. My question is can I order a mini cake to be delivered for dessert after dinner? Not going until Feb., but any help will be appreciated! Thanks in advance! Donna

Post #2 of this thread (under Epcot) lists the cake options for Tutto Italia and Via Napoli. :thumbsup2

Really great experience, we love Flying Fish and they really went out of their way to make Anna feel special. As far as the ordering process, once I got in touch with Jesse, she was wonderful. When discussing the cake, she offered an 8 in in place of the 10 since we only had 4 in our party. Anna chose chocolate on chocolate and a Rapunzel theme. You will note the buttercream was not chocolate, I did not even mention due to the over the top service we recieved. The cake was okay but that may have been the flavor choice but the girls loved it. It was $100 before tax and tip. Would not hesitate to order again!

Great cake! I'm so glad it worked out for you despite the communication problems. :)

We were just there one week ago tonight, for my 2 girls I got them each the slipper dessert OMG it was good, and they both received a crown once we sat down. For 2 crowns and 2 desserts $60 with the tip for the 4 of us I paid $80 Well Worth IT

booked the royal highness package for DD on 9/30. Last time we did an 8inch cake and it was just way too much and we wasted most of it. Instead of the cake we are doing a dark chocolate slipper with no fruit (allergy) and they will have a balloon at the table and pixie dust then she will be presented with a tiara. I was quoted $42.50 plus tax and gratuity. Emailing the addy i found here worked well and it was booked in a day.
