Which white chocolate characters are available?
In general, white chocolate characters are only available at the locations that offer fancy, fondant-covered cakes (see Disney Cake Options By Location post). Prices are $15-$65, depending on size and resort, and figures can be fully painted for an additional charge. The selection varies by location, with the Grand Floridian offering the widest variety. Check with the bakery at the resort where you want to order the character.

Hello everyone,
My son is turning eight in November. I really wanted to surprise him with a Jedi Mickey Cake. The trip was a last minute decision, and I can't get the restaurants he wanted to eat in (namely Chef Mickeys) and we are staying off property. I seem to recall reading that they are only available from the Boardwalk Bakery. Can I order the cake and pick it up there myself?
TIA,
K

We are looking for pictures of frozen themed cake available at Disney World, specifically at the Grand Floridian. Does anyone of any ?

If you're contacting Pat at the grand floridian, leave your email (spell it out like s as in sam, etc) on her voicemail, she will email you and you two can discuss that way. Not sure about Epcot, hope that helps!

You can do the same with Epcot. Spelled out my e-mail on voicemail and received an e-mail from Epcot dining the next morning. I did the entire reservation via e-mail.

I emailed magic kingdom cakes about a Mini Cake delivered to CRT for my parents anniversary. I got the standard response back, chocolate or vanilla, princess, regular or flowers on top etc... Will they do other flavors of cake and fillings for the mini cake?
I emailed Chef Brian directly at the Contemporary and was able to ask for a specific style/color cake. If I remember correctly the cake flavours were limited to chocolate or vanilla but I was able to choose the filling. I believe if you call the cake ordering hotline they will give you the email. This was also for a cake delivered to CRT.

I am really looking for your advice! We are eating at V&A for our 25th anniversary on our actual anniversary. My dream has been to have a white or ivory cake with the silver mickey heads stamped on it like you see on the Disney cake TV shows :rotfl: The romantic in me wants this cake delivered to V&A since it is our big day, but everything I am reading says you get totally stuffed full when eating at V&A. Is a cake there overkill? Should I have it made for another time or for room delivery at the Dolphin? We leave on Nov. 8 so I am running late with this. Any thoughts?

The Swan & Dolphin have their own pastry team that may be able to approximate this cake, but it won't be the same. I don't know why everyone says they get stuffed at V&A's. The portions are small and if you take your time between courses, you'll be fine. You can always just cut a little sliver there and then have the rest later in your trip.

Also, I want to bring our own silver 25 cake topper. Does anyone have the dimensions of the mini cakes? Would I be better off going with a 6 inch?

THANK YOU!!

It is going to be too big for a mini cake. A 6-inch is a safer bet, and you get more flavor choices.

The white chocolate Jedi Mickey used to only be available at Yacht & Beach Club. Then he disappeared. Last month he reappeared at Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings' Bridal Showcase and was made by the Grand Floridian pastry team. Someone just tried to order him at the Contemporary and was told he wasn't available. So I think the Grand Floridian is your best bet.

There are about 5 different Frozen cakes in this thread. Use the "Search this Thread" feature in the upper right-hand corner of the interface. :thumbsup2

Does anyone have pictures of a cake with the 3d Mater and/or McQueen figures? Do you know who would be most likely to have them? We will be staying in Art of Animation and have dining reservations at WCC, 'Ohana, LTT.

I've never seen either of these but would love to!
As for the location, I would suggest Ohana because it's serviced by the Grand Floridian bakery!

After reading all of these threads, looking at all the galleries, how can it be that I still don't know how to contact Pat at the GF bakery? :rotfl:

I prefer to email her. Is it possible for someone to PM her email address?

THANK YOU!!!

Just got back, had a cake delivered to California Grill for my sister's 26 birthday. She wanted something non-disney themed. So we went with her favorite colors of hot pink, gold, and orange.
She loved it!

Great colors! Thanks for posting!

Wow! That's a very pretty cake!

Ok, so I just talked to Pat to order our 25th anniversary cake. 6" with ivory fondant and silver Mickeys stamped on it in the wave pattern, silver bow on top and silver 25 on top as well. They are also placing it on fondant and writing in silver 25 Magical Years. $130 I think it sounds spectacular, and I will be sure to post pics when we return!

I can't help it but I keep humming Meghan Trainor's song It's All About That Bass but in my mind I am singing "It's all about that cake, about that cake....."!!!! :rotfl:

Thanks again for all of the help!!!! I appreciate it SO much!
