Official Disney Blog: Repunzel coming Oct.15th!

As you may have heard, Rapunzel from Disney’s upcoming animated adventure, “Tangled,” will appear in theaters this Thanksgiving. She’ll also be greeting guests in Disneyland park for the first time, beginning October 15. And Tom Smith recently announced on the Blog that Rapunzel will also greet guests at Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando.

I'm fixing to meet her probably that first day (just because I'm one of those "limited time only" people--if nothing else, this is probably the only chance to meet Flynn...).

The blog referred to Rapunzel as a "heroine" and NOT a princess, so I am not sure she will actually join the princess line. On the other hand, they posted concept art of a princess float for the new parade that DID have Rapunzel...

It will be very interesting to see her hair! I wonder if she'll be there with just short breaks, or if there will be significant scheduled breaks. I know Tiana had breaks but that was partly because she and Naveen couldn't meet people while they were singing within earshot, on the Mark Twain.

(Rapunzel's breaks might have more to do with her hair being attached to the floor or walls. )

I am going on oct 16! i am so going to meet her! The whole set up is very cute and creative!
i love meeting the princes, or male lead characters...they are usually quite good looking
