I was wondering about that! I can't imagine that they would move off Wisteria Lane! Good episode! Lots of new stuff! I like how they "outed" Andrew in the pool. Poor Susan!!! :rotfl: I guess there won't be a show next week because of the Academy Awards. :sad1: Wish they had shown some previews for the next episode!

I missed the first 1/2 hr or so. I tuned in about where Lynette was visiting husband at work & she was talking to his boss's wife.....saying how he would miss out on the kid's lives if getting the promotion. I got that story line.

What happened with the others before I tuned in?

Can't believe I forgot to watch. Ugh!

*spoiler alert!!* :earseek:

SplshMtn99, i think all you missed is that Justin (the boy in the pool with andrew at the end) appeared at the beginning of the episode offering to do the Solis's lawn for free, and then trying to blackmail Gabi into sleeping with him - then explained that he was afraid he was gay and thought sleeping with her would change him. also bree found a condom that she thought was rex's, then thought was andrew's, and finally figured out was danielle's, who wanted to sleep with john. and susan gave mike an alibi for mrs. huber's crime, but then the police told her of his sordid past as a drug dealer and manslaughter..uh...committer.
not sure if i'm missing anything...i'm sure someone will fill you in if i did :goodvibes

Bree found a condom in the laundry. First she accused her husband, then her son. Turned out it was her daughters! She wanted to use it with John the former lawn boy. Susan and the girls called the police and told them about Mrs. Hubner's jewlery that Lynette's boys stole from Mike's house and he was arrested. John's roommate came to Gabrielle and offered to mow the lawn for free. He tried to blackmail her to have sex with him or he would tell about John to Carlos. Turns out he really didnt' want to blackmail her he just wanted to find out if he was gay. :sad2: There was more but I can't think of it at the moment. Pretty good episode!

Who was with the guy that hired Mike at the end? I couldn't make the connection.

If you are talking about the old guy who was eating all the desserts - that was the man that hired Mike and brought him to Wisteria Lane in the beginning. He wants Mike to find out what happened to his daughter before he (the father) dies within the year.

Do you mean the guy who was in the diner talking to Dierdre's father? Wasn't he the guy from the police station?? Not the one interviewing her, but the one in the booth. I didn't totally GET that part either.

I thought he was the officer too. And since I tuned in late, I didn't get it either. Hmmmmmmm?

I just noticed this thread and love this show, also!

I agree there might be a connection between the girl, Dierdre, Mike is searching for and the Dana thing.

This is what I'm thinking now:

Dana: the name of the "sister" Zach thinks he killed
Diedre: the girl who Mike is searching for, hired by her father and who he used to date a long time ago I think?
Zach: thinks he killed his sister, Dana. I think he thought Dana was in the trunk buried in the back yard.
The trunk: tossed and when found it contained the human remains of an adult female.
Mary Alice: Used to be Angela in another place and looks like she may have worked in the medical field.
Mike: searching for Dierdre, recently revealed he wants kids (foreshadowing?)

All that has me wondering if somehow Dierdre might have been pregnant with Mike's kid when she left, somehow hooked up with Mary Alice when Mary Alice was Angela, had Dana who could be Zach, who might be Mike's kid, and was somehow killed and ended up in the trunk in the backyard under the pool. Lots of holes I know, but it'll be interesting to see how the pieces get filled in.

GRRR! I missed it AGAIN!!!

Ok, so you are thinking that Dana is really Zach, and Zach is really Mike's kid with Dierdre?

I need TIVO!!! :earboy2:

Didn't that old guy let Mike have it when he thought Mike was taking too long? Maybe he bribed the cops to fake Mike having a record?

I'm just loving this show. But I do miss the days where a season played out from begining to end with no reruns.

DW fell asleep watching and when Andrew popped up out of the water I gasped. She woke up asking what was wrong. I told her what happened and she looked at me like I was nuts. I guess I am. How did I get so hooked on this show?

Yes that was the officer from behind the mirror that was meeting with the old man in the diner. He said he has more money than he needs to live the rest of his life and was going to help Mike out of his situation with the police. It was a good episode. Too bad we have to wait until who knows when for the next one. Jay

Hi! Just jumping in here. Diedre's father told Mike that he was a rich man and that money could buy your way out of anything. I think he was making sure they wouldn't prosecute Mike by bribing the cop.
This was a great episode!

It was the detective - the one watching the interview with Susan who said she was a sucker.
The old guy is paying him off, we just don't know what for yet.

kejoda - I am with you. I miss the days when they showed a new program every week and didn't play games with saving new episodes for ratings months. Network executives wonder why veiwership is dropping. How can people stay interested in a show when it is shown irregularly or moved around. What morons these programmers are.
