I believe the new neighbor who saved Lynette's life is Lauri Metcalf's husband in real life.
Anyway, I was also disappointed that Lynette did not call the police, unless she did and we were not shown that.

The new guy is in Mary Alice's house and I'm pretty sure the Applewhites were in a different house. I wonder if there's a map somewhere of everyone's house. The only I can ever recognize/remember is Gabby's--she's at the end of the street in the big yellow house. And Mary Alice's house has the picket fence and trellis.

As far as Lynette not calling the police, I was wondering about that too. But it's a good point that she was tresspassing. Maybe she's going to start looking him up on the internet or something. But she's udderly screwed now that she's built this guy up in Parker's mind. You know he's going to want to hang out with him all the time now.

A few months ago, Entertainment Weekly had a map of the street with houses and who lived where. I wonder if it is available on-line? If I find it, I will try to post it. Jay

I'm guessing that she didn't call the police, because of the fact that she wasn't exactly invited into the house. So instead of making it look she was trespassing, she'll take things into her own hands.

I hadn't even thought about the trespassing scenario. You could be right about that. :thumbsup2

ooh thanks, I tried searching for a few minutes and came up with nothing. I'll look under EW.

Last night's episode was good!! I wonder what the story is with Monique and Alma, and whether Mike actually committed any crime or is being framed.

I think Mike is being framed. I don't think he killed anyone, because he'd have to be written off the show and I think his character is too popular to be written off.

I still think the guy across the street is a pedophile, especially since he gave all of his stuff away to "charity". I have a feeling the summer cliffhanger will be him having one of Lynette's kids.

I hope not. :guilty: I also think the guy is a pedophile.

I also think that Mike was framed.

Anyone else think that Ian's butler is somehow actually related to his wife, Jane?

I didn't think that he was related to Jane, but I thought maybe that he was Jane's employee and Ian was along for the ride, so to speak.

I didn't get the impression that Ian was along for the ride. I think they were legitimately married (ie really in love, not a sugar mama thing). But I do think the house and money is all Jane's and that the butler was with her long before Ian.

Oh absolutely. If it was for charity then why was it all set up in his basement? And why did no one see it being carried out (or in for that matter)?

Here's an interesting thought, what if it isn't the male neighbor that is the pedophile, but the disabled sister? With the twists of this show, do we know they didn't have an elevator installed to give her access to the basement?

I'm sure they're both involved somehow. I doubt they could have put an elevator in the house without major construction. And he would have to know what's going on in the basement. And I just don't see how she could be there and not know what's going on, if it is him.

i thought the same thing!

Not necessarily...if there is a closet in the foyer of the home, and below that is the basement, and above that is a bedroom closet, it could be totally unseen until the closet door is opened. Small home elevators are often disguised that way...and it could have been installed in only a day or two.

I'm not sure the sister is the pedophile, but there is something up with her also.

That's not what I meant. I think that he and Jane were in love. I just think that now, after so much time has past, he's still living the lifestyle that she provided to him without pining away for her. I think that's what the butler wants to have happen instead of him entertaining his new friends in Jane's house. I think it's different if the spouse dies. You get to move on. When they are in a vegetative state, it makes things more difficult.

Wha?? :confused3 no mention of Gabs and her "insert foot into mouth" routine?? while sad, kinda funny at the same time! Poor Gabs, she just ain't used to kids. But, what she (finally) did for their self esteem....good for her! And Edie with "which bill should we pay?...." :happytv: whadda hoot! (sorry it's taken so long to get back to ya's, but it's been a whirlwind here! :faint: )

Uh....how come nobody has commented on last night's show yet? :confused3 Didja's move and leave me behind? I guess the MAJOR news shocker is Alma is alive!! So, I guess Orson didn't kill his wife after all...maybe just Monique....OR Alma killed her (Monique) and made it look like Orson killed her (Alma)???? Hmmm......just got interesting..... :scratchin

I have just two words for last night's episode... HOLY SCHMOLEY!

So, just when Lynette starts to think she stirred up trouble for the neighbor for nothing, he all but tells her that he's going to act on his pedophilic ways now. She'd better keep close tabs on her kids.

Ooh, I can't wait for the story between Orson's mother and Alma to develop! My DS asked why would she allow her bird to stay behind if she knew that Orson would kill it? (We're a bird family, so that was a sore spot for him. I was surprised that he remembered the bird.) So, do you think that Orson beat her up pretty bad and dumped her body somewhere that allowed her to recover to contact his mother?

It'll also be interesting to see where the mental institution information will take things.

Loved Gaby's spin on the little girl's friendship. If the friend's mother was competition, there was only one thing to do... get rid of the competition. haha

I think the neighborhood needs to hire a priest to do an exorcism on Paul Young's house, it attacts evil people. They sure wrapped up the pedophile story in a hurry, since he is moving. I wonder if we'll see him again?
