Ok, Ok. Here's a synopsis....

Bree and George - In the very beginning of the episode, they show Bree hosting a dinner party and you can hear awful singing from outside. It's George. She tells him to go away, he doesn't listen. She goes upstairs and pulls out a shotgun and shoots the speaker off the van from where's he's singing outside. Funny! Then, Bree's visiting therapist in the hospital. He mentions that the guy who attacked him was riding a blue bike. Bree immediately knows it's George, but she doesn't say anything to the therapist. She does call the police and they raid his house (? is that right, everyone?).
Later on, they show George in a hotel and he gives a note to the Bellboy to take to Bree downstairs, she's hosting some fundraiser or benefit or something. He tells the Bellboy that if she starts to go upstairs, to call him. Meanwhile, she reads the note. It's a note saying he's taken pills, to meet him up in his room. She calls the detective guy, he says "Oh, I'm glad you called" before she gets to say anything to him. He says they've found evidence in George's house that he may have killed Rex. They found Potassium, etc. She just hangs up. Starts to go up the elevator. She's emotional - mad and crying. She stops elevator. They show George in his room taking pills one at a time while saying "She loves me, she loves me not", then he goes to lie down in bed to wait for Bree. He wakes up a few mins later and she's not there yet. He calls for an ambulance, door knocks, he says "False alarm" for ambulance. Bree comes in. He tells her to forgive him - he'll turn himself in to the police if she'll be his friend. She tells him she can forgive him, but she wants the truth from him. Not about the therapist, but about Rex. He denies, she keeps telling him she needs the truth and then she can forgive him. Without admitting anything, he says that anything he did was because she wanted him to.
Then he says, You better call the paramedics. She said "Oh i did when you fell asleep" which wasn't true. He falls asleep again, she just leaves the hotel room.

Lynette - She's in a meeting at work. Nina blasts her and her coworkers as always. Lynette tells her to "Knock it off" and says that they deserve respect, etc. And Nina asks the coworkers if it's true and they all are silent, making Lynette look bad. Apparently, they had all made a plan to confront Nina about her attitude but Lynette's coworkers chicken out. Meanwhile, Lynette goes to work late at night to pick up something. She she's Stu running around half-naked. Finds him going into Nina's office. See's them "together". Nina sees that Lynette saw her. Next day at work, Nina pulls aside Lynette aside, says "Ok, what fo you want, a raise? what?" Lynette says "I just want you to be nice!!" So Nina says fine. BUT, the next day, Lynette's discovered that Nina has fired Stu for "bad work performance" and since the company has to downsize anyway. She kinda threatens Lynette and her job. Lynette meets with Stu for lunch and tells him the real reason why he was fired. And tells Stu he should go to Richard (the boss) and tell him what happened and he could get his job back. Stu said "Why would he give me my job back?" Lynette tells him because they wouldn't want to face a harassment lawsuit from him. Well, the next day at work, Lynette find that Nina has been fired, Lynette's her replacement and other coworkers have been fired, too because Richard was forced to pay Stu off because he threated a lawsuit. Nina warns Lynette that her workload will now be more than ever and that she can kiss her kids goodbye cause she'll never see them.

Carlos and Gabrielle - Carlos is out on parole because a Catholic group has helped him. Now he's a born again Catholic. Going to church with a nun he befriended in prison. Gabby saw the nun and called her Sister Hotpants. She's young. Carlos says Gabby is ridiculous for being jealous. So Gabby invites the nun over for lunch. The three of them are talking, nun mentions charities. Carlos says they don't contribute to any charities, but he's changing that. He tells the nun he's donating his car to her charity. Gabby is livid of course. She goes upstairs to change his mind and ultimately ends up seducing him (with the nun downstairs! Gabby comes down, tells nun that she and Carlos have a lot of catching up to do. At first she tells the nun kindly, but then abruptly tells her to "Go away" and leave them alone. The nun says "No". She mentions that Carlos is the way he is because of Gabby's spending and her infidelity. And Gabby says to the nun "Well, he knew me when he married me" and the nun replies with "Well, some marriages are meant for annuling" !!!! Gabby tells her that she does NOT want to mess with her. Nun tells her she grew up on the South side of Chicago and to "Bring it on" or something like that. And she leaves.

Susan - She tries to get a job at the feed shop to get to know her real father. As he's reviewing her application, he tells her she's overqualified but she insists she's really interested in working there. Then he says "did my wife send you?" Thinking she sent Susan to test him (apparently Susan's mom wasn't the only woman he had an affair with). He tells Susan to leave. How dare she, with a pretty face and a nice butt (well, he used a different word), and Susan turns around and yells "I'm your daughter!!". He leaves the room, she's found that he's had a heart attack in the back of the store. In the hospital, he tells her that to please leave before his wife comes and see's her. Susan's upset. She wants to get to know him. He tells her she was a mistake. His wife comes in. Sees Susan and asks who she is. Looks like she's going to spill the beans, but instead says "I'm his guardian angel" and says how she found him and took him to the hospital. She leaves, but tells him in his ear that she's not giving up.

I think that's about everything.

I don't think Bree will be blamed for Rex's death. The detective told her there were detailed journal entries. He wouldn't have said that if he suspected her to be an accomplice. The only thing I can see happening is Bree getting in trouble for not calling 911. They can prove she was in the room because she would have left prints on the doorknob and the wall. The only other thing she touched was the chair that had his jacket on it. She didn't go near the pills or the liquor bottle.

I'll have to watch the nun parts again. I skipped over those. I didn't think the nun was hot either, by normal standards. But, I suppose by nun standards she probably was pretty hot.

It was nice not to see Lynette's kids for once. Nothing against them, but I thought it was a nice break.

Love the nun storyline. I think it's hilarious.

Was I the only one surprised that Bree's counselor was alive? I thought he died for sure.

I was surprised that Bree's counselor was still alive. I'm not sure how he survived that fall!

The nun does seem like a plain Jane to me, but I think they're doing that, because they will turn her into a Sister Mary Hotpants driving Gabby even more crazy.

I didn't think the nun was all that pretty either but she does offer a contrast to Gabby - being all blonde and innocent baby-faced. Where have I seen her before?

From searching google,

Apparantly her name is Melinda Page Hamilton, here's her list of jobs:
Guest Starring Roles
Law & Order - Jane Spoonser
Star Trek:- Enterprise Feezal
CSI: Miami -Julie Bryant
Everwood - Mary
Miracles - Unknown
Cold Case - Janie Stillman
CSI: NY - TBA
Medical Investigation - Sarah Doyle
Desperate Housewives - Sister Mary Bernard
Numb3rs Jennifer Nash

And in a movie called All My Sons in 2002.

On the DH message boards on ABC there was some talk that she was on Growing Pains but apparantly a different girl.

ok...when gabby said "sister hotpants" i started yelling at the tv saying "well they could have atleast gotten some body who was super hot..not some body who is just like my next door neighbor" and did any one but me notice that the nun's eyebrows...were brown..and her hair on her head was beach blonde?!?!?

that just did it for me

i think nina saying what she said at the end was to get her job back. The way she said it and who she is leads me to think that maybe shes trying to get lynette to quit by saying she'll never see her kids again.

i loved bree's way of getting rid of george in the begining! It cracked me up. I though for sure the theripist would have died...and i hope george did...hes done too much not for them to kill him off this week or soon!

susans was good this week...but i think she needs to get on another topic rather than her father. I wasnt really interested in it until this week...but i think her trying to find ways to bond w/ her dad are going to get old quick. She should get back on her book!

Is that what the note said? I don't recall seeing it, other than she was supposed to come up to the room.

Couldn't Bree get in trouble for like "Assisted Suicide" (the Kevorkian thing)? The 911 call would have recorded the knock on ther door, so they know Bree arrived while he was still alive.

I think Gabby is worried that Carlos may think the nun may be "hot" in the way that guys also get off on the "Little Schoolgirl" look. When grown women dress up in a Catholic uniform, pigtails & knee socks, it drives some men crazy.

I think they have have to get rid of Nina as the actress is pregnant in real life. Now Lynette has to step up to the plate, stay all hours, etc., so she becomes the harried, overworked office worker who never sees her kids.

No, I don't think so b/c if Bree still has that note from George, then it proves she didn't help him commit suicide. Plus, the phone calls to the operator (which could be traced for time, I'm sure, and the operator could be questioned) would confirm that George had phoned the front desk for assistance for taking pills. Even though George said, after awhile, that it was just vitamins, the operator could say he hesitated. I don't see how Bree could get in trouble for Geo's death b/c if she were to kill him out of revenge now knowing that he killed Rex, she sure as heck can't force him to swallow pills!!! And, if she did force him to swallow pills, he STILL made the call to the operator about taking too many pills!

I highly doubt that he's going to die. There's too much good "scoop" w/him -- not only killing Rex, but burning the 2 cars, etc. to be wasted by killing him off.

I think Lynette is going to march in and quit her job. Wasn't it rumored that she would be looking for another job. I also think Nina's spiel was honest and not an attempt to get her job back. I've worked in big business, I've seen what it can do to you ;) Maybe Lynette will quit and she and Nina will become best friends and go into business together :rotfl:

I'm wondering too if George will die. I'm thinking Bree may have a change of heart and call the police.

I think he's already dead

Did anyone else see a problem with Nina hanging out at the office drinking wine after she was fired? Why would she want to stick around? Why would they let her? And why would she be drinking wine in the office? There's no way any of that would happen where I work. The last time someone was fired, they were escorted out by security (no illegal activity was involved).

I can't believe Bree went up to George's room. I would be too scared he would try to kill me. She should have just reported him to the police when she got the note. The police were looking for him, and she knew where he was.

And I totally agree that the nun is not hot. They should have got someone better looking. She makes south-side Chicagoans look bad!

At first I thought maybe Bree was wired....and that was why she was trying to get George to admit what he did.....but now it doesn't seem like she could be wired...yet leave him to die!!!

As for the nun....I betcha in the next upcoming weeks...they somehow will start to make her looking and dressing more and more 'suggestively"....but still not sure how they are going to pull that off as a nun...

I would guess that he died--a spoiler much earlier in the thread regarding November Sweeps Teasers said that a major character would die this month. In fact, I think it may have even been in a preview promo for the show for what was coming up in November.

I though she was the one from growing pains too.
