Oh and did anyone else think possibly Morty was gonna be Susan's real father???

Yes, I thought that that was what Morty was getting to!

I also had the feeling that Bree set up her ex showing up.

OK, does anyone still think that Bree's husband could really still be alive and the cops are trying to find out who tried to poison him? I know the funeral seemed real but do you think there may be a twist like that? Or, have you heard for a fact that her husband is really dead? I remember when he was dug up and she went to the morgue to claim his body again, I think she was about to pull back the sheet but didn't? Oh well, I just thought that his death was just too sudden for me to digest. Stranger things have happened.

Yes! I was so sure that was who it was! Honestly, I'm not too keen on that whole story line. They are just playing that whole family as way too stupid! :confused3 It's a shame too because they are all really talented comedians! The writers could do so much better for them!

I did think Morty (Newhart) had the funniest line on the show though. Susan's mom had just finished her speech at her wedding about who Susan's real dad is and sat down. Morty turns to her and says, "You're not still seeing him are you?" - delivered in classic Newhart deadpan. :rotfl:

I have a bad feeling that George is going to set Bree up as Rex's killer.

I also felt bad for Gabby at the end, it was a touching scene. I'm glad they showed her softer side.

Does anyone else agree that the ex that showed up when Bree and George were at dinner was set up by her? I think she wanted to see for herself how George would react. JMO.

I didn't think otherwise.

I also thought the balloon scene with Gabby was great! I'm pregnant so of course it made me cry!

I really hope Bree is able to see what a psycho George is now. I bet he will try to frame her for Rex's murder.

I thought Mrs. Whatsherface - Lynette's next door neighboor was hilarious when she attacked poor Stu. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

They had an open casket funeral with the whole tie incident.

i didn't really feel like rex's death was sudden, as they built up that george was messing with his medicine and rex was feeling sickly throughout many episodes. i hope rex doesn't come back - i thought he was a jerk! :p

I know they had an open casket, but since it is tv it could be explained. It is hard to believe she could have lifted him up like that if he was dead. Also, if the doctor knew about Rex's poisoning maybe he could have done something about it. I guess I still feel something is up. I am old enough to remember Dallas and Bobby Ewing and the dream ! Oh well, Rex was a jerk so maybe that is why I don't trust him.

The actor that played Rex was on Good Morning America right after it happened. He said he was told 3 days beforehand that he was going to be off the show.
He also said he wished he had been given more of a heads up and that he really was dead and not coming back.

Christmas Elf- That is what I needed to know because I had not seen him after the show. Now I can put this to rest. Thanks!

I was really sure that Morty was going to be Susan's father. Oh well, show's what I know. I also think that Bree had her ex show up to see George's reaction.

What I really want to know is: Did Caleb (did I get the name right - the guy in the basement) really kill anyone, or did the brother do it and blame it on the guy? Someone else brought that up last night, and it made some sense.

Jen

Did anyone else not care about Susan's real father? It was such a non-story for me.
Loved the "therapist" Carlos sent for Gabby. Very funny and touching.
:flower:

I just loved the "therapist"! All those tattoos and the knife and all, but he really reached her!

And, what a waste of a good Porsche! I don't think Bree set up the old college friend thing, but it sure did open her eyes.

I think Rex is really dead, and Caleb really killed that other girl. The other son seems really nice, what they show of him.

The whole Susan thing is a big *yawn*!

Totally uninterested in the Susan/father storyline. Susan actually kind of gets on my nerves.

I hate Susan. Zak should have gotten rid of her when he had the chance.

George is actually on Martha Stewart right now, on TLC. (EST)

He's actually quite funny as someone else here said. Not at all wormy as his character is. Martha showed a clip of Marcia Cross on one of her earlier show s & accidently putting butter into eggs rather than into the frying pan. After they all had a little laugh over it, "George" (don't know his real name,) stuck up for Marcia, saying how she was just probably nervous being on Martha's show. :)

I'm confused. In the beginning when the narrating began, she was talking about women who miscarry. But then she said "But not for Gabrielle" or something like that. So I was thinking that maybe she didn't miscarry afterall.

But I guess she did miscarry??

YAY that Bree finally realized what a creepo Georgie is!!

The narration said that when some women miscarry they go into mourning, hide in their houses for weeks, get very depressed, etc...etc..., but not Gabrielle. I think she meant that Gabby did miscarry, but didn't react the way most women do.
