It plays into the fact that he's never home, and it's far more troublesome and life-altering than a simple affair.
01/26 - "The audience will come to learn that Edie's son lives with his father," exec producer Marc Cherry tells me. "He will be a small child. That'll be a very interesting device we plan to use."
01/16 - "In the weeks to come, we're going to dimensionalize Edie a bit more. We're going to spend time exploring her past and her relationship with Susan. Also, things are going to get weirder and stranger in Bree and Rex's relationship." says writer Kevin Murphy. The majority of Wisteria mysteries will be solved by spring.
12/28 - Gabrielle and John continue their affair. Carlos will find out and take "drastic" actions. Bree will find out more about Rex' secrets and Lynette finds out some of Tom's "activities". yes, you are right! that's why huber was at the store....getting "junk food" for the kid (& i believe that is where susan ran into huber and huber explained the situation to susan....leading her to believe the man was mike)

i wish i had time to catch up on all the old episodes before the new season - i missed so many i didn't even know that rex was dead and zach was mike's son!(i had avoided reading this thread so i could be surprised) great show tonight - i am so intriguied by the new neighbors! no idea what's going on there....

Oh my gosh, I love this show! I was hooked after last season. It's an absolutely fantastic show. We've been powerless thanks to Rita so once the power came back on I was desperate to watch it. Unfortunately, Rita also knocked out the power to our local ABC station so I had to watch it through the "snow" on another ABC channel further away. I saw and heard most of it, but what I couldn't decipher was at the very end. When the new neighbor and her son took the tray down to the basement and the hand reached out to the tray what color was the hand????!! I couldn't tell!

Philadisney, Rex died in the very last episode of last season. Although some of us probably suspected that Zach was Mike's son I think it was just revealed tonight that Zach was or may be Mike's son. It's such a good show, isn't it??!
