Booked all of my FP's this morning for our party of 9. Actually my friend and I tagged teamed it but in the beginning she had issues with being able to make reservations for everyone in my party; she could only choose me, not my kids or husband. But I could choose her whole party. That made it stressful but she booked for her group and I booked for mine. Then I went back in and modified to consolidate any times that were not exact, but overlapping. So for anyone that is traveling with a group, make sure everyone is properly linked in MDE. She had to send me a request to make plans for each one of my kids and to my husband's account.

Frozen was the only one we had an "issue" with. I was hoping for something around 11-12 but ended up with 1:20. We can work around it but now there is no way we will make it to our BOG reservation at 2:15.

All FPs were made today. Some of my times aren't perfect, but they will work. I am sure I will be playing around with them some more.

Just had some unexpected extra money come to my mailbox (not really unexpected just forgotten about!) so thinking about maybe doing the jingle bam desert party....just need the dates to be extended! At least we have a CP narrator for our night so not waiting on that!

Plus I'm thinking about Christmas stuff. I want to get everything done before our trip. I'm stressing myself out. I need to make lists of what needs to get done. That always calms me down.

BDLsgal is like that. She will have her lists weeks before we go. She'll have her clothes list. Her toiletries list. Her weather pertinent list (rain ponchos, sweatshirts, etc...) and probably 1 or 2 more I can't remember.

Which is why she is always furious with me, when I pack the night before. I just empty my clothes on the living room floor, and keep track of what I pack into my oversized duffle bag. Then, when the Smurfs van shows up (I mentioned it before, Smurfs is a great way to get into Logan), I throw my toothbrush into the bag, and bring out our bags out. And even though I am packed and ready to go, she's still mad at me.

Oh well. Tom-ay-to, tom-ah-to.

Haha even though I make a ton of lists well in advance, I still usually pack last minute. Well my stuff at least. This time I want to be better organized since we'll be getting ready for Christmas plus someone will be staying at our house while we're away. I want the house to be in good order. I better get my butt in gear!

Has anyone been scheduling FP's on or around those days? Just curious how it's looking so far. I'd love to know what all is already gone for those days so that I can plan ahead better.

More of our threadmates will be starting to book for the dates you specified and should be able to offer some insight soon. We leave on the 23rd, so I don't have any definitive info for you past 12/22, and I only have one booked for that day. If you want Frozen Ever After, I'd recommend making that one of your first picks. I have it for 12/21 and 12/22 and I had my choice of several times throughout the day on both of those days.

I had this same problem! It was very frustrating trying to figure this out at 7AM but luckily it worked out for us too.

Is anyone else doing CRT DURING the MVMCP? Is it a waste? We really wanted this reservation but I'm worried we will regret it.

I'm doing CRT on a night we aren't doing MVMCP. Our MVMCP night, we have a 2:15 ADR for Chef Mickey's. We're planning on entering MK at 4 to go on some rides before the party starts. Grabbing a QS meal later & will eat while waiting for the parade or a show. I didn't want to book an ADR during the party because I'm not sure how late my kids will hang.

Depends on what you are looking to do, and what you mean by "during the MVMC". We booked a 5:30 ADR at BoG. We are not planning on doing any of the meet and greets, and we have the dessert party planned for the parade and fireworks and we will be in MK all day for rides. However, If M&G's are important to you, of if you want to have plenty of times for rides, many guests are booking late lunches/very early dinners to maximize time at the party. I personally wouldn't book CRT during the actual party (7-midnight) since you will miss a lot of unique events.

Anyone familiar with the Disney Visa rewards? I wanted to redeem points before our trip. I wasn't sure when I should request it. MY TA said I can request one now and then load it with remaining points later, but she thought there was a minimum amount that you had to load. Anyone done this? First time having the Visa card, so want to make sure I'm not missing anything! Thanks!!

I would just request one from guest service. We always go to Disney Springs our first night and get it from guest service. All you have to do is call and get the rewards transferred to the card.

I just requested my rewards card a few weeks ago, and got it in the mail yesterday. I think it's not too difficult to load additional reward dollars onto it. I plan on doing it just before our trip.

You can go online to request a card...Once you receive it, it looks like a credit card with a unique number...this number is attached to your Disney rewards account..you can go online and add points at anytime as long as the amount is over $10.
