Lol! the workday countdown is too funny. let me count mine!! 41 for me. Helps that thanksgiving and the day after.

What strikes me as interesting is all the people who are counting today as a "work" day and yet are posting on the DIS. hmmmmm curious and curiouser. I too am "working" , albeit at home. As a crafter I work outside the home primarily on Saturdays, sooooo going along with our new game, only 8 Work Days left!!! par-tay

Since this is my last semester of college I chose to focus on studying and am currently not working so I will count the days of school I left...34! Keep in mind I don't have any classes on Fridays though so that's why the number is so low even though we are not going until Dec. 22

No fair I don't work so my countdown is all I got!! But its down to 65 days I think so thats good. I finished the kids countdown calander today. Turned out ok definatly not my best work. But I couldn't find a few things I needed to do it so I ended up winging it LOL.

Now to work on the tye dye shirts that should be interesting.

Same here. I only have laundry and house-cleaning to keep me busy until Disney! LOL

We could create a count down to Disney in loads of laundry... but the number would be so high we would all cry but it would tic down very fast

So 2 months and our trip is paid off. I have all of my Christmas gifts except books for my kids purchased.

I have decided how to do the surprise.

Now I need some pretty boxes and wrapping paper and some window decorations. a lie to tell my kids on why we are driving somewhere and some shirts for my boys... and stuff to arrive. Arriving can wait though as the longer it sits around my house the greater chance someone will find it and discover the surprise

What do y'all do for window decorations? Previously we did some printable clings but I am not pleased with the color saturation and visibility

I'm not even thinking about Christmas presents. Isn't Santa on strike this year?

I keep telling DH that it's time to tell the kids who Santa really is, but he says as long as they believe, he doesn't want to say anything. I think I'm just trying to make it easy on myself, which I guess is selfish , so I'll keep up the charade.

OMG if I did a laundry countdown I would go insane LOL. I do way too much laundry. I say atleast 4 times a week that I HATE laundry and I have no idea how the heck I have so much of it. We are a family of 5 and you would swear there were 20 people living here. I have one of those large front load wahsers and I still do 3 loads a day on average. UGHHH darn football practice.

We don't do decorations. I bought a little tree at the store at Pop when we went in 2008 and thats about all we do. In 3rd grade all my kids had to make a wreath to hang in their hallway out of a cardboard ring. Well we made a really cool Disney one since we were going there for the first time and I may bring that with me. We just don't spend that much time in the room to really get into decorating. But check dollar trees. They seem to be carrying a lot of Disney stuff lately so they may have the Christmas window clings.
