Okay am I the only crazy one here?

For the most part the Disney Christmas trip is planned so nothing to really worry about (except for an occasional changitis of ADRs :lmao:)

Okay well we are going again May 16th - 25th of next year.

Reason we are going? Celebrating the completion of my BA

How we are going: Flying AA

Where we are staying: BLT (home resort)

Yes, I think its official, I'm a Disney addict :)

You're certainly not the only one!!! We were just there in July and going back in December! While there, I'm hoping to get a bounceback so we can plan another one 2011. :cool1:

I totally understand! We are going in December b/c I'm celebrating the completion of my JD!

Frankly, any accomplishment deserves a Disney Vaca!

Seriously, you guys have no idea how much it makes me feel not crazy when you all are planning trips so close together. My one friend was like "Wait, your going in December and AGAIN in May?"

I basically told her, "Disney, is the only place I vacation now and I have to put my DVC to good use" :lmao:

not crazy at all! last year i did the podcast cruise and 2 days at WDW in May. Then went in December for 10 days at WL with the whole family. We bought DVC shortly after that trip (in Feb after doing the tour in Dec). WE also own at BLT. I just returned from a 4 day trip to Disneyland with the girls too- so that is almost 4 trips in 2 years. I haven't been that often in forever! We are planning for October of next year for halloween and food and wine!

did you find a decent rate on AA? i know they have been pricey lately. the cheapest i have ever found direct out of DFW was like $220-$250 on AA.

me too!! :rotfl:

This December trip, I'd started planning about this time last year.. before DF had proposed :lovestruc and to be honest, I thought we'd have to cancel it for a) paying for wedding things would mean no vacations and b) he wouldn't want two trips to WDW so close together... but it turned out, money was fine - and he is completely ok about going twice in 7 months! :woohoo:

Our two trips are going to be very different though.. this one will be.. first trip to New York followed by Disney.. holiday decorations, EMH, rope drops, busy busy days... honeymoon will be a different resort & our first cruise, relaxing, fine dining & extras like a segway tour!

$220 - $250 on AA actually isn't that bad. The flights I'm waiting to book for our trip in May with tax came out to $247 per ticket and they were nonstop both directions. So with tax it'd come out to $494. HOWEVER, I am a Chase customer and have the rewards debit card. I have enough rewards points on my card right now that I am literally getting one of our tickets for free for our trip in May.

We are going Nov. 30th - Dec. 13th, we are batting around the idea of going in May and Oct. 2011. We have to get good use out of our AP's :lmao:.

Since June of 2009 I'll have been to Disney 6 times from the one trip in June of 09 til Sept of 2011. Yeah I understand why my fiance is getting a little sick of it :lmao:

I've had fun on every trip however this trip I'm looking forward to the most. Every time we've gone to Disney we've had friends with us. I've always had to put their needs and wants into consideration. Well, now I don't have to do that and we can do what we want to do. Christmas trip I have it planned like down to what parks on what days and what ADRs. Its going to be very scheduled. However, the trip in May since we will have APs by then I think we're just going to do it by the seat of our pants. I might schedule an ADR here and there but it won't be a big deal because we will have APs so if we want to only spend a few hours at the park and go back to the resort then we can.

Alrighty Cancel us for MVMCP on december 3rd! We decided to do WWOHP on Monday instead!

And we have added an ADR at Raglan Road on 12/3/2010 @530pm. Anyone ever been there? That is one place I have never been.

My cousins gave me a fright yesterday when they asked me to change all of our ADR's

Oh yes we can't forget about the use of the APs. We are upgrading our tickets to APs in December when we go. It just makes sense that way.

Question, how do you go about upgrading your tickets to an AP? Do I just go to guest relations at one of the parks?

Tell him thank you for serving. My late husband was active duty Navy when he passed away in 2008.

This is pertaining to my trip in May considering all my Dec ADRs are made. I was reading somewhere that people are able to make ADRs "180 + 10". Does that mean you can make ADRs at 190 days or did I misunderstand something? I'm just trying to get everything written down on a calendar so I can get things figured out in a timely fashion.
