I'm starting to get worried. We have the cash to pay in full, but we're doing it bit by bit. I would love to have it out of the way and done, but that's when something would happen and we'd need that $$ now!! LOL We have until 10/27, so we're still good.

BTW,

80 days!!!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::yay::yay::yay::yay::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I know how you felt. But I didn't want to take any chances on us spending it for something we really didn't need. Looks like we are arriving the same day! We're staying at CBR.

Nope we've never done the dessert party before. I am really looking forward to this one. I add all kinds of silly things like that though to make it extra special since the kids chose WDW instead of Christmas gifts every year. So we have the dessert party and the Pirates Fireworks cruise on Christmas night planned for a surprise for them.

We have a lime green thing on our backpack

Hope you heal well and get to really enjoy your vacation!

You're doing the Dessert Party on Christmas night, DH and I are as well, I am looking forward to doing it again, it is one of the highlights of our trip.

We just hit the 90 day mark :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I stayed there in '08 during Christmas week. It was beautiful. DH wanted to book there again for our trip this year but I wanted to try another hotel. My family is from Puerto Rico and the slide at CBR reminded me of El Morro in Old San Juan. It's the old fort they used when fighting pirates and the Spanish:laughing:.

Thanks for the link! My eyes teared up too!
I think I'm going to pack some extra tissue for this trip! I always cry everytime we get to WDW and especially when I see Cinderella's castle!

Thank you for that link!!:goodvibes I had never seen it before. That link just got me soooo much more excited!!!! Cant wait until dec.!!:banana:

I feel silly asking this question:

Do any of go to character dining even if you don't have children with you at Disney?

I ask this weird question because my fiance and I don't have children but yet I want to go to character dining. I have this feeling I'm going to feel like the odd ball :lmao:.

Eh oh well.. I'm still excited..

YES!! My dbf and I have gone to WDW 7 times, 6 being just adults and we always go to character meals. We love getting pictures with the characters, it is so much fun. Go for it!

I'd love to go without my kids. ;)

Just kidding... sort of... :lmao:

We try to do at least one character meal every trip. There are lots of kid-free tables. Don't worry, you won't even notice the other tables when you see Mickey coming your way. :cloud9:

Joining this thread! DH caved and said we could go back in December (we were just there for 10 days in May). We're going December 10-15th!

Staying at Pop on the free quick service dining plan. It'll be our first time going without the regular dining plan so it'll be interesting! But I want to see and do everything Christmas related so it will work out not having to rush to dining reservations!

YES! Totally!!!! When BFF and I went on a "girls only" trip, we went to character meals, stood in line for photos...the whole deal! Everyone is a kid at Disney! :goodvibes

Welcome to the party! We are staying at Pop the same dates. Christmastime at Disney...does it get any better?

So just out of curiosity, has anyone else started a packing list or a Disney box? :confused3 It's ok if you tell me I'm the only nut job here. :lmao:

When DH and I went in March with out the kids we did character meals and we even stood in line for Characters. I only felt awkward when we went to see Mickey at Toon Town. I think it was because the family in front of us kept giving us dirty looks and making comments. Then when we went into the room to see Mickey the handler made a big deal of our matching anniversary shirts and the Mom in front of us got really aggitated. I kinda felt bad because I felt I was taking away from the kids but then I wasn't the one who made a big deal of anything so its not like it was my fault. The character meals were awesome though. They spent the same amount of time with us as they did with everyone else.

Yup, every visit! Sometimes we will stop and do pics w/the characters but most times we just talk and smile so they can go on by. We do enjoy those meals (mainly for breakfast) due to the energy...helps us get going for the day ;)
