Thanks, there was definately some drama from that trip, but there is nothing like seeing WDW through children's eyes. When Hannah first saw the castle she said "it's beautiful, so beautiful". I cried then and could cry right now just thinking about it.

That was sooooo awesome!!!!! I love their reactions! I have been to Pidgeon Forge quite a bit and although it's beautiful I think Disney beats it hands down
So so cute and such a great idea!

Christian understood right off, I don't think Hannah fully got it until I said "pixiedust". I loved her reaction then. It was so great taking them. We hope to take them back in 2012 after the Fantasyland expansion.

We've added a day on so our dates are now 12/12 to 12/20! I almost don't want to say that this will be at 3 different resorts. We are doing CR/Dolphin and added on POP for the last night. We've never stayed at POP and I think it looks so cute and honestly, I really like ME and DH loves not handling the luggage. He is so not a split stayer lol and how I got him to agree to this one I am still trying to figure out! Oh yeh, I did agree to try to lower our dining costs that I figured on so I cancelled 3 ADRs.....none of which will kill me! I really really like some of the CS options and will finally after all these years go to DTD for the first time....I really want an EOS sandwich!

Thanks! We are also getting to keep AKL as our resort instead of switching to a Mod. I'm so excited I can hardly wait!!! We've never stayed in a Deluxe before!!!

Just wanted to add a change to one of our ADRs, we cancelled WCC on Dec9th at 5:00 and are now going to Teppan Edo on 12/9 at 4:40.

Well, if you are at the All Stars or the moderate resort where they are staying, YES. We mostly had problems with them in the evenings at the parks and that is our favorite time to be in the park, so we noticed it more.

We stayed at the FW cabins the year we went during Pop Warner week and I will never go that week again, just because there is so much going on.

I read the whole TR on Saturday! it was so well written - some real ups & downs but overall an amazing vacation by the sounds of it!

I'm unsure as to whether to book 6th-13th or the 13th to the 20th of December.

Can anyone advise me as to what would be better regarding crowd numbers?

Pop Warner will be overlapping the 6th-11th. Holiday crowds will start late on Friday the 17th or on Saturday the 18th (which is when room rates go up, too).

Take your pick.

I was a cheerleader for 14 years so cheering and having fun wont really affect me.. Im just wondering about crowds?!

DH and I just don't want to take a chance of being in the same resort with "lightly" supervised kids. It's something that really bothers us, so it would make our trip less magical.

I would chose the 13-20. That way you will avoid the Pop Warner crowds. The holiday crowd wont be coming in until closer to the 23 so you should have lower crowd levels the 13-20. We are going the 18-23 so we plan to be gone before things get really out of hand.

Poppygirl, I've done a few split stays, just never at 3 lol I don't really find it much of a hassle. Typically, we will do an Epcot resort for 1/2 our stay and a monorail resort for the other half. So to me, in a way, I am losing just a bit of time that switch day, but I gain time that we would be traveling from say a monorail resort to Epcot or HS since I can just walk there from the Epcot resort and we plan our days according to where we are staying. May not make sense to a lot of folks but it works for me! I don't fully unpack at the first resort and they just transfer the luggage so you are free to go to a park until check in time and really not lose much time at all. I don't have small children though so I am sure that makes it a lot easier.

We are doing a split stay, 1 night at CR and the next 5 at CBR. We are planning to head to Epcot around lunchtime the day we switch, so we are just going to have part of our group head over to CBR to check in and then we will all meet at Epcot. Also we are just going to have everything we need that first night in carry ons so we don't have to worry about unpacking or repacking. of course we would be doing that anyways since we would want to have some clothes in case luggage got lost. The last time we went, my mom's suitcase didn't make it till the next afternoon, we learned our lesson that time!

Just wanted to hop along on the December 2010 bandwagon! We'll be in The World Dec 4-11! I can't believe it's now less than 5 months away! We are, unfortunately, staying off-site - but we have a group of 12 and want to stay all together (and not spend a fortune), so it was necessary. We got a great deal on a condo from a friend of my mom though, so I can't complain too much!!
