**Official December 2010 Thread!!** - PART 2!

10 days and counting for us! (10 day, 5 hours, 55 minutes to be exact). Just found window clings at the hardware store of all places!

I'm thinking capris and jeans for me. I can't stand to be hot...we had some very humid high 70's here last week and I was dying. Of course I was running around the house cleaning like a madwoman that day so that could have been part of it.....(I know....so WHY am I going to Florida? because the happiest place on earth is there!)

Yes, I think capris and pants for me too. Even though we're in Vermont and I KNOW it's going to be warmer in FL, I can't stand being chilly!!!!

So my dad informed me that we got Mickey Mail today!!! Except we had already gotten it before... I guess since we added a day they felt the need to resend the whole thing? It's fine by me, but it means I have 8 MORE luggage tags. If anyone wants some of the holographic type let me know, I'm pretty sure we got that type in the second batch as well.

We leave in 4 days!!!! Weather looks pretty great. Im happy with 70-80 degrees all week! Im packing a pair of shorts, capris, jeans, long sleeve & short sleeve shirts, tanks.. the whole nine.. sort of stinks! LoL. takes up space in the bag! And then the decision for figuring out to carry the zip up or hoodie comes into effect!!! BUT WERE THRILLED TO BE GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


A couple of my Adrs are wrong on the list.
We cancelled 50's prime time on sat the 4th.
And thurs the 9th is now via napoli at 830pm

Nine days until I depart and one problem. In the past year and a half I have lost 112 pounds. I have been searching for shorts all week, no one here is selling them that I've seen. I thought about mail order yesterday but I'm wondering (due to cost of expedited shipping) if it wouldn't just be easier to wait to get down there to buy them.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is awesome! Im in the same situation. Can not find anything I want and the clothes I do have Im swimming in them. I found 1 pair of shorts that look pretty good.. but I have such a distorted body image that I cant tell if they look good or what!

Thanks! Although reading a long term forecast (thankfully they aren't that reliable) I may be in more need of a warm jacket rather than shorts!

I might be in the minority here but I was really hoping for something cooler than high 70's & 80's for our trip! We live in GA and it hasn't been very cool yet for it to be almost December (although we do have a cold front that just moved in yesterday). I was hoping for some cooler weather so I could get in the Christmas spirit. It's hard to get in the spirit when it's warm outside! But don't get me wrong... I will still be just as thrilled to be at Disney, no matter the temperature/weather!!!

omgosh! i HOPE it is warm when we go! i can dael with sunshine and NO wind. the chicago wind chill is what kills me


aside from chicago weather, i also suffer from changing ADRs way too rapidly. and way too much.


breakfasts: chef mickey's, 1900 park fare, cape may cafe, and tusker house

lunches: mama melrose's, 50's prime-time, tutto italia, liberty tree tavern, via napoli

dinners: sci-fi dine in, tony's town square, coral reef, citricos, la hacienda

....as of right now.

I've always read such bad reviews of Coral Reef. I've never eaten there before, but just based on reviews I'd choose that one.

Reading your list of ADRs makes me wish we had upgraded to the regular dining plan! Enjoy all your food!

Called and requested to be in the Casitas section at CSR and had them note my avocado allergy to the reservation. It didn't occur to me to note it when I was making the ADR's because it's so uncommon as an allergy and I don't see it that often in food, I forget about it until I'm reading about it in a menu. Hopefully I'll catch it if they don't, otherwise I'll be experiencing some anaphalactic shock and my hubby will be searching for an ER

All the women in my family are allergic to avocados. I have never really heard of others allergic to them too.

i was just peeking at the Dec. calendar, i have a really tough month ahead of me,
i have to get through 2 more work days this month, then i have,
11 work days in Dec.
vacation starts the 15th
7 days to relax and get packed
6 days at Disney
come back and relax until Jan 3, when its back to work.

It is 44˚ in Dallas right now... Can you believe it is warmer in North central Texas than Florida?!?!

I'm still harvesting my garden and still have bushes full of roses all over my yard!

Honestly I don't care what the temp is in Florida when we get there as long as it is not freezing... We can wear sweaters I just hope it doesn't rain! My little one gets sick whenever she gets a cold wet chill...

I am trying so hard to have everyone be well for the trip!!
