Ahhh, ok... I just found the Common Abbreviations thread and found it. Ok, wow that makes sense. Not sure if I should do that (might be too late now). Its just me and my 5-year old going this trip. The only thing we are planning is the Christmas party but I am miss procrastination and still doing last-minute planning. I will post mine on Monday after I make some calls! Thanks!!

no problem! you might still be lucky and find some good dining reservation times - you could maybe try for some character dining.. Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom), Restaurant Akershus (Epcot), 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) ..

Just realized we have changed most of our adr's since going on the list.
12/12 now 'ohana at 5:15, no chef mickey at 9:15
12/13 still 1900 pf at 10:10, addef tony town square at 5:40
12/14 same
12\15 8:55 wave, 1:40 chefs d france, 7:40 teppan edo
12/16 same
12/17 same, may have to change dinner to 7:00 pm at nine dragons if family joins us
12/18 10:00 'ohana, 2:45 added liberty tree tavern

Just did some searches for breakfast during our trip, Dec 2-11 (the tweaking never really stops, does it? LOL), saw quite a few O'hana character breakfast open. Even saw one 1900 Park Fare, but I took that one, Dec. 2nd 8:25AM. So the moral of the story is, never give up. Even after you get there keep checking!

So today I've printed out 'the spreadsheet' and all the other paperwork needed for the trip!

Made a playlist for my ipod of Disney/Christmas/New York-related songs (Empire State of Mind etc!) which I'm listening to while I cook dinner at the moment!

I'm a SAHM, but called my trusty backup babysitter, and she agreed to watch my youngest this week while the other kids are at school. This gives me time to make the t-shirts, pack, and get the Christmas decorations out and ready to put up without a little one snooping around LOL. Still have to get my schedule printed out too, it's all ready to go in Powerpoint

Yah I'm not packing any shorts. We are from TX, so anything 82 or below we are wearing jeans. I'm planning on packing jeans, t-shirts, hoodies for everyone. Have a couple long sleeve shirts for everyone to layer under t-shirts if needed. I also have a set of hat/mittens for everyone. Going to get a large Spacebag to put all the heavier coats in. If I have to use them, I'll have them, and if I don't, that's ok too, but I'm don't want to be stuck buying coats for everyone down there! $$$$ LOL.

Not sure if you saw my update on our ADRs, the 25th and 27th are the same, but on the 24th we now have Hollywood & Vine-4:40 (F!DP) and the 26th we have Liberty Tree Tavern-4:05

We had originally planned for no character dining this trip, so that we could explore some other restaurants. But since second-guessing that decision, I haven't been able to find availability. O'hana is one of the few remaining character dining experiences that we haven't tried yet, so upon checking again, I was able to scoop some up!

A week from now, I should be wandering around the France Pavilion...hopefully squeezing in a KP misssion before Les Chefs De France!

Getting my house decorated for Christmas this weekend so I can do all of the last minute stuff during the week! Tree is up and the annual christmas tree light fight with the hubby will surely commence in a few hours!

The coolest part is that my kids still have NO IDEA!!! We are planning on telling them 30 minutes before we leave for the airport!

Also, it does appear that Disney is changing over their luggage tags...Same picture of castle and ballons, but with a 3D type layering effect. I am a TA specializing in Disney, and I noticed the change over happen between people traveling mid December.

You haven't found any Disney window clings yet? Did you check Big Lots and Walgreens? That's where I found all of my stuff! Good luck!!!!

I can't believe some of us on this thread are going to be arriving already! Wow!!!!! December is almost here and it's going to fly by! Can't wait to hear from those who go and come back or if anyone can post while there! Safe travels to everyone leaving soon and have a magical time!!!!!

10 days and counting for us! (10 day, 5 hours, 55 minutes to be exact). Just found window clings at the hardware store of all places!

I'm thinking capris and jeans for me. I can't stand to be hot...we had some very humid high 70's here last week and I was dying. Of course I was running around the house cleaning like a madwoman that day so that could have been part of it.....(I know....so WHY am I going to Florida? because the happiest place on earth is there!)
