Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I enjoyed the day with my fiance and best friend. We had a wonderful meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffing, and rolls. Dessert was chococlate chip cookies.

We watched Four Christmases and The Princess and the Frog.

Tomorrow is my birthday and we are putting up our Christmas tree. I still am undecided what I want to do for my birthday. I think I'll just lounge around the house and watch some of my favorite movies. I don't feel like coming out of my house on Black Friday

One more day until I enter single-digit land! I just checked on accuweather and it looks as though the cool (60's for a high) has been delayed from Monday the 6th until Thursday the 9th.

I just exploded an egg all over my kitchen Thankfully, it was only one egg, but boy what a mess that one egg made!

I did the same thing I dropped on the freshly washed floor and it was EVERY WHERE


8 More days here and I am stalking the weather forecast. It is driving me crazy it keeps going from 80's to 60's I wish they would just make up their minds I NEED to pack. I start a new job next week and will not have time to do it.

If you are going to be there next week what are you packing?

Is it bad that one of the most exciting parts of yesterday was when I realized we were 3 weeks away from our trip? The rest of the day was good too, but that just started the day off right!

I don't think so, because Sunday will be 2 weeks for us. All I've been thinking of is how we're going to tell DD on Monday about the trip. She doesn't know yet. Thanksgiving passing just makes it that much closer

Some real good picks. We have ADR at Olivia's on the 19th so can get back to the room and change for the MVMCP that night. Doing Chef Mickey for character breakfast on the 20th with SiFi that evening. Our Rainforest is the 22nd inside the Animal Kingdom. We are also doing House of Blues and Cinderella's Royal Table.

We usually visit a Rainforest whenever we are near one just because it is a local establishment, originated here at the MOA by a local entrepreneur.

Got lots of toys for Christmas for my DS from the free $10 Disney Store GC that came with the $100 GC from Sams Tomorrow we get to do online check in! So excited even though we have to check in 3 separate days because of our split days lol

WOWZA. Wednesday is quickly approaching. House is almost clean! laundry almost done! presents wrapped (the ones we have purchased so far), have to pack, finish cleaning, work 3 more days, address envelopes for christmas cards, stop at fedex, and then Im basically ready to go! I can not waittttt!

I have been so usy cramming in this last minute trip (well last minute for me since the past two trips have been planned almost a year in advance and this one only since the last week of july). I confess I am an over planner.
We will be there Dec 11-Dec 17 (11-14 at Pop- hopefully in 50s section) and (14-17 at Contemp MK view tower). This will be our sons 3rd trip (we brought him on his second -2006- and his fourth -2008- birthdays). The reason for this trip is to celebrate our daughters 2nd birthday. We always go the second week of may so we are hoping for no worse crowd levels and hopefully slightly cooler weather (mommy wants to wear jeans so no bright white legs in pictures ) Her 1st birthday was totatally ruined because the day her big party was supposed to be is the same day the biggest snow storm we had in years started that morning and so no one could get out to go to her party, so this year we are leaving cold VA and hoping for bright sunny skies and no snow or rain so she can have a much better 2nd bday. I am excited to finally have an excuse to drag my DH and DS to the princess breakfast in epcot and 1900 park fare dinner with cinderella. So wish us lots of and I will do the same for all of you. I hope I get to meet lots of Dis memebers this trip - the past two trips I only saw 1 LGMH while waiting in line for dumbo.

14 more days until we leave VA My husband is so not looking forward to that part of the trip We are crossing fingers that everyone's badness level will stay in check for the whole trip

Our trip plan as of now is:
Dec 11 - checkin at pop early morning to get our tickets/dining plan stuff and head to AK - first to camp mickey and minnie for DD 1st meeting with her BFF mnnie and her pal mickey "mowha" (when she says mouse- it sort of rhymes with cow) and DH and DS can do the safari and DH can do Everest. Then be at DTD by 3:45 to eat at Planet Hollywood and then off to see the lego store and santa.

Dec 12 - get to HS early to get son in to jedi training hopefully first thing, then planning on lots of charcter meets and playhouse disney show. Lunch at Sci-Fi at 1:30. Probably head back to Pop with DD to get a nap before evening hours at HS (she loves to dance and I just hope I can keep her up for the dance party, especially if they changed the regular hours to be until 9pm ).

Dec 13 - princess Madeline's breakfast at Akershus at 8:15am. This is our epcot day. We have never planned a full day at epcot before but our son wants to do the passport to show his friends at school so it is now a full day park. Of course our little will be picking a pearl for her birthday in japan. We will try to do the country meet/greets, especially hoping to find Marie since that is madeline's middle name. We will head back to hotel early afternoon for nap and then get to Yachtsman Steakhouse for 5:05pm reservation.

Dec 14- moving day off to the Contemporary we go- we will check in so we can get our parking pass and then get on the monorail to hopefully make it to opening at MK. First stop is toontown to wait to get in to see tinkerbell (my will be in her tink costume of course to meet her favorite character of all) of course I will send DH to gather fastpasses for something and maybe even try to get on dumbo before toontown rope drop. Tonight is Madeline's "big bday celebration" at 1900 park fare at 4:30pm. I need to make up my mind about getting the mini wedding cake or the glass slipper for her.

Dec 15- EMH at MK,we will be one of the crazy people out there at 7:30am waiting for our 8:20am Crystal Palace ressie. Today is matching disney family shirt day that I designed and even my DH grants my request to wear one. I had to change the design I have used the past two trips since my DD is very girly and already picky about what she will wear so I had to move away from the stick figures and go a little more elaborate. We will try to finish up the main rides DH and DS want to do, especially in fantasyland today and hopefully any meet and greets we didn't get to the day before will get done today.

Dec 16- MK day again and hopefully get to be at the dole whip meet at 1pm

Dec 17 - check out day We will probably end up back at MK today and depending on DD reaction to the fairies on our 1st MK day we may try to get in there one last time, and to see mickey/minnie before we go home.

Nine days until I depart and one problem. In the past year and a half I have lost 112 pounds. I have been searching for shorts all week, no one here is selling them that I've seen. I thought about mail order yesterday but I'm wondering (due to cost of expedited shipping) if it wouldn't just be easier to wait to get down there to buy them.
