I have an ADR delima...
Should we do La Hacienda dinner for Illuminations (8:30 reservation)
OR
Boma dinner before we head to Epcot?????
I got the Boma reservation last night. They are 3 hours apart, so I don't think they will auto cancel them.... BUT, I need to decide so I can cancel the one we don't want.
We've never tried Boma and are staying at AKL. We can only choose one. Any advice???![]()
Here is the pic of the one's we got in 2004
(sorry the picture is so big I tried to size it down but it doesn't seem to be working)

So while I was at work yesterday one of my coworkers mentioned that he had to go to home depot to pick up something for the building. I asked him if he didn't mind doing me a favor and picking up some lime green Mickey Head paint chips. I said he could just leave them in my box. Well today when I came into work there was a note that said they were out of all the lime green mickey head paint chips but all the other colors were available. I am just shocked. Seriously there must be a lot of DISers in my town. Why would anybody else want them?
mine too- well just turned 3!!!! so fun!!! at least you make the 'child' cutoff for the trip too, which is awesome! We just missed it on my DS and on my niece (just turned 10). just bad timing i guess! My ds is 2. He will be 3 in January.
so sorry to hear about your rough day and club 33. hopefully things will turn around.Trying soooo hard to do the happy dance today, but my phone broke this morning, it's been a rough day at work, and I just found out my secret plans to get the DH to Club 33 for our anniversary won't work out.
I keep thinking about how much we have to do before our trip, instead of how great the trip will be. Gotta get out from under the dark cloud!
WDW is only 15 days away!!!!!!!!
thanks for the info- i think we will leave no later than 4pm for sure. i know ME does 3 hours before- not sure we need to do that- i think 2.5 before should be plenty of time.4:30 at least! It's been really tough since new security procedures have been put into place. Lines have been reported as long.
yes, your DVC room comes with basic kitchen utensils and plates and all that. even pans and all for cooking. however, i don't think it comes with multiple coffee filters or coffee, so buy/bring more if you like coffee. i am buying dunkin donuts coffee to bring for DH and MIL (i don't do coffee) and extra filters. i am also bringing the throwaway coffee cups with the lids for them to take their coffee with them each am as we head out, save us on buying it! i think they give you one small package of laundry detergent for one load and some dish soap too. i am bringing more laundry detergent and bounce sheets. there are toiletries in the bathroom too- but don't think they restock until day 4 (or wash the bedding/towels). Target has the small tide travel things that i got. keep in mind if you are cooking, you need salt, pepper etc or seasonings. plus sugar etc. for coffee. i've been 'borrowing' small packets from restaurants and work when i get one- i grab a few extra to take with us.ok DVCers or anyone who stayed in DVC recently... in your 1bdrm or 2 bdrm did they have real utensils. plates, cups etc.... I have not stayed at SSR since 2005. in 2008 we stayed at the Poly.. but anywho.. I remember doing dishes and such. But I thought I read on the boards that it is now all paper plates etc
please help me! thanks!
tough one- we have ADR's for La Hacienda too- for our first night at 8:15, hoping to get a window seat. i think we are keeping it, regardless of bad reviews. sometimes i read bad reviews and end up loving a place- like O'hana- everyone was bashing it and we loved it. I have eaten breakfast and dinner at Boma and breakfast was okay. i didn't get all the hype. dinner was good- but not my favorite- of course i am not a really exotic eater either. did love all the soups! now i need to go read the LH reviews, just so i know what folks are complaining about, but still going to give it a shot regardless- i figure i want to try everything once anyhow!I have an ADR delima...

Our Home Depot doesn't even have a slot for "lime" green, but they have 3 others that are similar. I've actually never found lime and have always went with Alien Green. I picked up a few today.![]()
He is very yummy!Has anyone gotten a picture and autograph from Prince Caspian at Hollywood Studios? I have to say, with that accent and all, I was smitten when we saw him last year!![]()
That's so funny. My 4 year old daughter had no clue who he was, but he was so sweet with her. He said that her mouse ears reminded him of someone he knew. I thought he was going to say Mickey or Minnie, but then he said Reepicheep! My daughter just stared at him blankly. But when he got down on one knee and held her hands in his hands, I was blushing for her!He is very yummy!
He was also GREAT with my boys! When my oldest DS told him his name is Griffin the Prince was very impressed and asked him if he could fly. He said that all the Griffins in Narnia can... We'll his little brother said, "Sure he can, he just uses Southwest!" Prince Caspian broke character just a little when he burst out laughing!![]()
Ugghhh.... I am freaking out today worried now that I picked the right parks for the right days and being so close know we would lose most of our ADR's. I think I am going to make hubby man sit down with me tonight and go over our plans and see what he thinks.![]()
