Official December 2008

Only 81 Days to go!!!!!!!!

I am getting more excited by the minute. It's 81 days or 11 weeks. I think 11 weeks sounds better.

Is it too early to start packing? Last night I wanted to get out my small bag and start putting the toiletries in there. I've got certain ones for the trip already so I can carry them on. And we aren't going to be doing any swimming here so I can go ahead and pack swim wear.

I'm trying to think if I have left anything out of my planning too. Since this is our Honeymoon I've been very worried about missing something or forgetting all about something. This is Larry's first trip but I've been several times. So there is even more pressure for the trip to be perfect. **bites nails**

I programmed my doorbell to play Christmas music this morning. 64 days till we get there. I can not wait!!!:santa:

I will be there 11/29 - 12/7 and 12/28 - 1/2. Looking for some fun ways to count down with my kids! They think it's still too far away even though it will be here before we know it!

62 DAYS HEREEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I AM SOOOOOOO antsy....:yay: :dance3:

I honestly get that shaky feeling in my stomach every time I think about it...WOOOOOOO HOOOOO!!

I feel like I cannot WAIT...I wish it were tomorrow..I WANT IT TO BE HEREEEE

(could you tell I am a BIT excited?):rotfl:

Hahahaha! Anybody that comes to your door is going to think you are crazy! Unless it was one of us, we would totally understand!

So at Halloween, all you are going to hear is Christmas music? l:lmao: Too funny

I am going to start packing because the weather here has cooled off so instead of putting all of my summer clothes away I am going to put some in the suitcase. I am getting excited!!!:woohoo:

Just a little FYI for you December travelers. I was at Cracker Barrell yesterday and they have some cute Christmas Adult shirts and sweaters. They are really nice and simple. I'm not a huge fan of sweatshirts with a big ole Santa on it but these items are nice.

As far as packing, I am stragetically placing items in a laundry basket for Disney. Since it is starting to get colder, I don't have room for both warm weather and cold weather stuff in our drawers and closets. So this seems to be working so far. I brought WAAAAAY too much stuff last year so I am going to to pack half what I packed last time. I really don't have a choice with the new luggage fees.

I am having a huge 60th birthday party for my Mom the evening before we leave so I have really loaded my schedule up. United also keeps moving my flight earlier and earlier in the morning. But no worries. :) I will be heading to Disney so whatever stressful damage I do to myself getting ready for the party, the trip AND the holidays, I will repair at Disney.

Opposite for me. United totally took away my connections thru IAD and have us connecting thru ORD. After those changes and many others we are arriving at 1:12pm (instead of 11:00am) and heading home at 2:10pm (instead of 5:00pm). That is 5 hours of lost Disney time. At least I am still going.

I just wanted to report that maybe you should prepare for cool weather at WDW in December. Dh and I just got back home from a long weekend there and I already needed my lightweight jacket in the evenings and early mornings. It did get hot during the day, but was really not humid, I never even broke a sweat and that is not hard for me to do. I know I am from the South, so 30's and 40's are cold to me, but I wanted everyone to be warned ahead of time.

We will be back in December and I plan on packing alot, so I am prepared, I don't want a Disney wardrobe. Things can change between now and then, but I just thought you should be aware.

I have to agree with princess suzanne. We have been in Dec before and it can get very cold. I like to dress in layers, also I always bring gloves and a jacket. Try to find these items in WDW can get very expensive and hard to find.

I am just about to start packing! I have so little room for clothes in my house that i need to swap out my summer for winter clothes.

We get quite a good baggage allowance to fly over from the uk so i can hopefully be prepared for everything!! Do you think it will be cold enough to wear long jeans??

I am also going to book my MVMCP tickets tonight - we are going to go twice as we are in WDW for 17 nights. We are thinking of Sundays 7th and 14th - i'm hoping these will be quiet so that we can get better places for the shows etc. Has anyone got any experience of the parties and which are the best nights to pick?

I know what ya mean by the space. ANd I think I might just have to use that reason as well (;) )

We are from Canada, but flying out of Maine. So we have the one suitcase allowance. But we have 2 toddlers that need their own seats. Plus 2 large suitcases. I think we will be ok. Darn Umbrella strollers use up their lugguage spot. They are just over 2-3 inches when put together. So I have to check them seperately.:confused3
