Dec 8-17 staying offsite at Runaway beach.
ADR Dec9 11:30 Crystal Palace
We plan on visiting disney for 6 days and 2 will be spent at Universal.
We plan on fishing off the dock on Saturday instead of bothering with the crowds. How many of you with little ones are paying extra for the christmas shows? We have a 2 year old and a 7 year old.
So excited!!!

We bought MVMCP tix for the 9th and our boys will be 1,3 & 6 when we go!! We can't wait...it's our first trip at Christmastime!!!!!

We have tix to MVMCP for our kids as well. They are so excited. My 4 year old asks me every day when we are going. He hasn't quite grasped that we aren't going until right before Christmas.

My 4 year old son keeps asking to when December is and why is it taking so long for the plane to come get us??!!
I can understand though it seems like it is taking forever....

I hear ya! My kids don't even know we are going yet, we are surprising them for that very reason. But now I'm the one whining about how long it's taking for December to get here!
I think we'll tell them at my son's b-day in October...but we won't tell them when we are going...just that it will be sometime in the next 6 months or so...

That's what we did last year, we surprised our boys with their first trip....the night before out trip I said "get a good night sleep we have an adventure to go on tomorrow" and they were sooo excited and slept great and we woke them about 5 in the a.m and got them ready with the car all packed up and drove to the airport. When were in line to go my oldest (only 4 at the time!!) said "are we going to Disney World?" and I was like "What??!!" and he said "I see Cinderella's castle on our bag"...he had recognized it from the Disney channel....I couldn't believe it! I was bummed but soo happy that at least we were only 2 hours away from being there and I didn't have to hold it in anymore!!!!!

We are going on December 13-20th. Our first night we are staying at the Polynesian Resort and then we are at SSR. We are doing MVMCP on the 16th. We are all excited to go. First time during the Christmas season.

We are going to WDW Dec 7 - 14 with my DH, DD x3, and the in laws for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We are staying at BCV and going to MVMCP on Dec. 9th. Our girls have known since Feb. and I must say they are handeling it better than I or their father. My in laws can't believe all of the preperations we have made, such as airplane and resort ress in Feb. and now the ADR's on 180th day. It has been 6 yrs since we have gone, DD was 6 at teh time and our other was only 1, so she stayed with the in laws as I was there for business conf. and DH not so sure he wanted to take a 1 year old to WDW. I can't much blame him. SO this will be DD 8, and DD 3's first time there. We are on the DDP so we can do a lot of character meals and some real nice meals for the adults. We have ADRs for Cali for an Anniv dinner and fireworks on Dec. 10th. I just pray we have warm weather, want to try out the pool I have heard so much about. As you can see, I am not excited am I?

Are all the parks busy on Saturday or just MK. Trying to plan out our trip.

I just booked 13 nights at WH Dec 5-Dec 18. I am so ready to go!

Ours too! I can't wait to see it all decorated! It's such a magical place on a "normal" day that I can't even imaine it at Christmastime!!!! I hope you have a great trip!!! Are you going to MVMCP? We're going on the 9th! Maybe we'll see you there?

So glad someone bumped this back to the top...getting so excited!!! We'll be at MVMCP on the 9th, too.
The kids go back to school in two and a half weeks...once that happens it will seem even closer. Right now, it's hard to feel like this trip is right around the corner when the trip is at Christmastime and right now it's still summer. I have tried not to wish summer away but, as soon as school starts I'll have no problem wishing that time away.

I feel the same way. I love the summertime. And we're lucky enough to get to take a family driving vacation to Canada this summer, too. Leaving this weekend. Then it's back to school after that. But once Sept gets here, I'll be watching my countdown clock! We've never been to WDW in December.
