Official Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2020

I love the 80's but I HATED 80's week. The costumes and makeup made everything so hokey and cheesy and not in a cute endearing way. It totally detracted from the dancing. It should have been an homage to the 80's (with just music or mild inspiration) and instead it was a caricature. It was like they were making fun of the 80's instead of celebrating it.

Finally just watched it, the 80's vibe was way too much, I didn't enjoy it. It was my favorite dance so far for Johnny Weir though! And I love Justina. I didn't know Nev had a little dance training either, and I think Kaitlyn should be better with all of her previous experience. I'm definitely going to use my DVR so I can FF through most of it.

My thoughts on this last week's show (in no particular order ):

Glad to see you are finally able to join in.

* I hate Tyra more than I thought I would. I hate her outfits, I hate her banter and I hate her pacing of the show. I hate that she makes the show about HER.

Gee, Robin, how about telling us how you really feel about Tyra.

* I miss Tom and Erin.

Me too.

* I find it interesting that the producers are allowing Skai to dance like an adult and not a child. Most of the other teens and young adults are handled with kid gloves and their routines are juvenilized. Not so with Skai who is tiny and looks like a child but dances like a grown woman! Kudos to Alan and his chorography.

I have a feeling that's Tyra's influence. She's used to the modeling industry making 14 year olds looking a lot older and becoming supermodels by age 16.

* I really, really like that the judges are deciding on who goes home. It's about freaking time!

Finally just watched it, the 80's vibe was way too much, I didn't enjoy it. It was my favorite dance so far for Johnny Weir though! And I love Justina.

I liked the wigs. I thought they were fun.

Yes, I also thought it was Johnny's best dance. And Justina is great.

Poor Johnny. I liked this dance least of all his so far. But he is still one of my favorites.

I think her costumer finally figured out to make her LOOK like she's obviously wearing a costume as Tyra's taste when she's wearing "normal" doesn't work.
