Just like any great athelete, he probably spent the majority of his growing up years practicing and performing. Think of the Olympic skaters, gymnists, etc.

He spent most of his youth in England with his sister competing.....there is a price to pay for greatness..............

My girls were skating in the Chicagoland area when Evan was growing up - he had something "special" when he was very young but the sacrifice was his youth......when my daughters were taking time off to enjoy other activities Evan was at practice 6 - 7 hours a day before and after school.......

I have to give them credit for such dedication but am soooooo happy my girls had a "normal" youth. I knew soooooo many skaters who thought they had "it" and sacrifice their youth as well and today you hear nothing about them.......sigh.....it is a tough call to make.

I think Tom was right when he said Len only brought his "7" paddle. Its a good thing they got rid of Kate last week. There is no way she could of competed this week. She overstayed her welcome as it was! They showed her and Tony on Regis and Kelly and they had them do a dance and Kate looked like she had forgotten the steps.
I thought Evan did better than they gave him credit for! He's so vibrant!

thank you! my DH couldn't see what i was talking about-pamela keeps looking at her feet, or damien's feet, or the floor, i'm not sure which, but that is a HUGE dancing no-no. believe it or not, it's easier to do dance steps when you DON'T look at your feet. poor pam, bless her, i know she's trying, but she and chad are just outclassed by the others, especially nicole and evan. personally, i hope jake goes home. chelsie is a doll, but jake is just...creepy. i can't explain it, but he gives me the willies. any guy that cute who has to go on a dating show to find a fiance, imho, MUST have something horribly wrong with him.

I 100% disagree with this. There have been several very nice guys who have went on there and they weren't/aren't monsters.

I know what you mean. He seems very cardboard to me actually. But, yes, there are cute guys. You go up to them, and once they open their mouths you are like Huh???? Oooookaaaaay. Now I know why you are single. Some guys are just too weird & quirky.

No dating experience, totally boring personality.
Also-what was with those faces he was making last night. I called the family in just so they could see him. I thought it was hilariously awful!! I'd have voted him off right after Buzz.

yea, there's something about her that just rubs me the wrong way. She has fantastic talent though, I love watching her dance.
