OFFICIAL D23 Membership available for all Disney fans--Will you join too? UPDATE

You should be able to purchase just by signing into your disneyshopping account. Once you sign into that, it should recognize that you purchased a membership.

I've noticed that the site doesn't seem to work with Safari. I also have the problem where it doesn't accept either the user name and password - but have you tried putting your email address in where it asks for your user name - that seems to work and then you can buy the D23 stuff without having to put your (not yet received) membership information.

Mine is my e-mail address and my pass word for the disney shopping and disney site. It is all one. Hope that helps.

I'm using Safari and I just sign in with my regular Disney username and password and then I can go shop D23. Got an email today that my Dopey shirt I ordered is backordered until April. Bummer!

Three cheers for D23!

I just purchased my D23 membership. I am so excited! To be honest, I am even a little teary-eyed from the emotion of being a "Charter Member" of this club.

The total cost of membership on DisneyShopping.go.com with sales tax was $82. Among the benefits, this price includes an official membership certificate, membership card, discounts to the Disney Expo (think, Disney Comic-Con) as well as a 1-year subscription to the quarterly magazine that "provides a stunning, inside look at the world of Disney worlds."

Well I got my delivery today but unfortunately it was only the t-shirt. Apparently I didn't look carefully at the shipment notification. The membership kit has not been shipped yet. The t-shirt is nice.

Yup. Log in using your email address and password and then click "account" and then "orders".

It still has the thing either offering you to log in with your member name or to join - but you are actually logged in. (It is very unclear).

I ordered my membership on the 10th along with a sweatshirt, t-shirt, and pin. The pin arrived today (love it!), and the sweatshirt should be here tomorrow. No word on the other two items yet. Hopefully they'll get here soon!

I bought the magazine at the Disney Store yesterday, and it is gorgeous!

I don't buy collectibles or plan to attend any events, so I didn't think the membership was worthwhile.

The magazine was worth every penny.

If you are a collector then I think a membership would be a good idea.
