im sorry guys, i looked through all three threads and could not find either the thumper cake nor the bat man cake. so either a im delerious(which hubby would agree with!) or b i really did see it at one point and the pic has been removed.

I have never seen Thumper or batman on here. They would not be able to do Batman as it is not even a Disney movie/character so they would not have the rights to it. As far as Thumper goes, I have been on this thread since it started and do not recall a Thumper cake. Sorry. :confused3

Thanks for trying to find a thumper cake everyone. I have looked too but unfortunately still have not found one. Guess i'll be trying to come up with stuff myself. I may just put it in the trusty hands of the GF bakery. I just wanted to give them a decent idea of what I want.

I can't decide if I would rather try it with flowers and such, or maybe thumper on the lake??? I wonder if that would even be possible?

I know I want chocolate cake and a custard/fresh raspberry filling. I think that'd be quite yummy!

Is a budget of $100-$130 reasonable?

Thanks for this great thread....I just wanted to say I spoke to Pat and
they will be delivering my mini castle cake to Narcooses as a center piece....
I also requested it with pink frosting.....I really can't wait till September now....=)

We're going for my dds 7th birthday and doing mnsshp. I was wondering if anyone has done or seen a halloween birthday cake? I think dd would love this!

:thanks: to everyone who contributes to this thread....i could look at cake pics all day and drool/dream

anyhow...I was trying to find the post with a link that shows a HUGE mad hatter cake made. does anyone remember that one?

from what i have read...in planning on a small cake for my DDs birthday, staying at the Swan, my best bet is just to wait and go to the Boardwalk bakery and order. I can order on Sunday to pick it up on Tuesday?

i think i got lost in the star wars questions.....not trying to be rude...doesn't anyone remember that tall-huge mad hatter cake, like 13 layers?

Yes, but it was only 12 small layers. It wasn't a 3 foot-tall cake or anything, it was just a bunch of thin sheet cakes so that they could cut it in the wavy shape without it breaking. I just checked over in the Cake Gallery thread, but couldn't find it. The link might have broken, or I just missed it.

ETA: Found it by using the search thread button.

I have looked at the cake imfo thread -- But is there a web to look at prices and cakes & policy's at the different Resorts? I tryed to e-mail a question at dwd.magic.kingdom.cake orders@disney.com and it came back to me ( undelivered)

Just wondering if the Mickey cake can be done in low sugar or Sugar Free. Do they do a minnie cake?
Lexi

if you are still looking for the mad hatter cake, there are 2 of them. try the link on thread # 1291, and the link on tread # 1447. they are different. i know one was a disney cake but i am not sure of the other one.
but they both look great.:thumbsup2

from what i've read on here, no they don't have a website- wish they did! and also the ladies on here say the email that they have set up is not one checked a lot, so it's better to call.

Lexi:

I am not sure about the sugar free cake but I know you can have the Mickey head cake turned into a Minnie Cake. There are several Minnie cakes floating around here as well.

I have seen a halloween cake on here. Gosh, its been a while but I do remember seeing one. I think it had a pic of mickey as dracula on it and it was decorated in halloween colors. Maybe someone can help you with a pic? :confused3

There is a haunted mansion cake on post #364 of this thread.

Here are some pictures of the Halloween themed cake that I ordered through the Beach Club last year. I specifically asked for the orange/black marble fondant and edible decorations on the top. The cake was AWESOME!!!!! I think that the cost was around $85.
