That number is for Port Orleans main front desk. I am sure they will be able to deliver it to your room while you are in the parks but I am sure if you ask they will tell you.

Does anyone have the "cake line" for Coronado Springs? Or any number there that I can call and be directed to the right place?

thanks for posting those mini castle cakes - can i ask what flavors you got?

cake, frosting, filling?

We are going to Disney in November for my DD's 8th birthday. The whole trip is actually a surprise :bday:. Her birthday will fall on the day before we are to leave so for our last night we are planning on going to 1900 Parke Fare for the Cinderella dinner and I would like to have a cake created.

Here are my thougths. There are 6 of us so an 8 in cake? She loves bright colors and chocolate so I was thinking of a chocolate cake with hot pink frosting and a princess tira on top of the cake. Of course the "Happy 8th Birthday" written on it. How much do you think that would cost?

Take a look at the first page of this thread. There is alot of good information regarding cake prices, sizes, etc as well as phone numbers to call. Hope your daughter has a very :bday:

I think I remember these choices but not 100% sure:

chocolate cake with dark chocolate mousse
yellow cake with white chocolate mousse
cheesecake

You wouldn't believe how HUGE my planning journal is for DBF's Secret Surprise trip for his 30th is....well, I bet some of you would lol!!

I'm trying to organise cakes in my planner first and then if I can't get the right type etc I have 2nd options and all that....and I've made great notes of what to ask for and to avoid - thanks to your helpful comments!!

QUESTIONS!!

We're booked in at SSR - anyone have any info/suggestions about having cakes etc delivered to the room? I'm hoping to have an early dinner reservation 6/6.30 and have a special cake at the restaurant. But when we got back I was hoping to surprise DBF again with something like the little Mickey Dome cake or some tuxedo strawberries? What are the chances?

Also - California Grill - can I arrange a really nice personalised cake or are there limitations here?

There is so much information on here it's great but I get confused too easily and I'm always double checking!

TIA :goodvibes

Anybody know the number for CSR? And can you give me a recommendation as to what type of cake (eg size etc) I should get for two people for graduation?

Thanks.

I'm wondering if someone can help me. I know that the mini castle cake and slipper dessert can only be found at GF restaurants, though you can get the slipper at CRT. Am I right so far? Now I'm seeing these wonderful Mickey Mouse and strawberries as well as a Tinkerbell and strawberries desserts. Are these also from GF or elsewhere? Do you have them sent to your resort room or presented at restaurant or do you have to pick them up yourself? :thanks:

Most of the deluxe resorts can do the tuxedo strawberries and some stores even have them like the candy store on Main Street.

I got my Mickey statue and tuxedo strawberries at BWV by calling their in-room dining.

Someone said they were able to order them for their dinner at California Grill.

You would call the resort to see if they can get them.

I want to have a cake for my DD and her friend when we are dining at the Garden Grill. I know that they have the small 6' cake and I have seen writing like happy bday... But I want to do a cake for congrats to them for dancing down Main Street the day before w/ the school band... So I want a saying like: Dancing is like dreaming with your feet! Congrats Angela and Victoria...

How big of a cake would I need can I have them put it on the small cake, now real decorations are needed, or should I order a larger cake... There a 7 of us in the party and this will just be a eat-treat, not necessarily the dessert...

So if I want a cake delivered to our room for our 14th anniversary, I should talk to Private Dining when I check in? I want it for our 3rd night (poly). Or should call and order it from home before we leave?

If I order a cake from another location at WDW can they deliver it to my resort? I called CSR Maya Grill and they don't do any of the fancy cakes with the toppings on them, they will just write things on them. Has anyone done this? If so, how did it go? Were you satisfied?

Thanks.

In post #1 there is the cake hotline phone number. That should be the number to call for ordering cakes.

I think you'd only order through in-room dining/private dining if you want some other specialty dessert or item other than a cake.

Okay, I just re-read the first post and it said to call those numbers if you wanted a cake delivered to a restaurant and that you can't order a cake for room delivery until after you have checked in. :confused3 Once I check in who do I contact?

Some stuff in post #1 is outdated and was written before Disney started the 'cake hotline' but this is what I was talking about....

From Post #1:

New "Cake Hotline" for ordering special occassion cakes!

5/29/07: DINE: New "Cake Hotline" for Guests requesting celebratory cakes at most Table Service dining locations. The Cake Hotline number is 407-827-2253 and requires 48 hours notice.

Call the cake hotline about 1 week before your trip and see what they can do for you.
