I love Big Brother! I can't wait. I too am disappointed that it seems like every year the cast gets younger and hotter. I watch for the game play, not the sex appeal. Am I in the minority? I would like to see a little more to the game play than half naked 20 somethings taking turns hooking up. I can watch The Real World for that

I agree. I like to see a mixed age group.

I have to agree. (however - I will still watch! heheh)

Case in point...I was channel surfing last night, and I happened to click on Real World:Austin. I guess it was the first episode? about half way through?

From what I could gather - it was their second night in the house, were already talking about who they wanted to hook up with, drinking rum/vodka like it's water, and one guy gets a facial fracture in a fight outside a bar?

it was just too freakin' much. I really felt old watching that (and I'm only 28...not too much of an old fart)

But, getting back to BB, I LIKED the older more mature crowd...ones that would deem some sort of wisdom on the younger crowds, be mother/father figures in the house...and generally mix it up a big.

MTV has real work - CBS can stand to have an older mix of people. I think it makes the dynamic in the house a bit more interesting...then just watching younger ones get drunk/hook up.

I am so glad to have found this thread.. I love BB but it's my secret addiction.. No one at my work watches it and my kids think its a waste of time.. I did catch DH a few times watching it last year so maybe I can hook him early.. But here, I will finally have someone to talk to about it..

Already set my DVR to record all episodes so I am all ready for Thursday.

Just checked out the CBS website and checked out the houseguests...
they are all very young, and almost all of them are single!
Guess they are really wanting some 'hook-ups'!!!

I can't wait for it to start. I love that it is on a few times a week, so you don't have to wait 7 whole days for something good to watch!
