Official Bay Lake Tower Photo Thread

So many wonderful pictures! DH and I are staying at BLT for 6 nights in Oct! 3 nights lake view, 3 nights MK view! I can't wait to add my own pictures!

Will be looking forward to seeing your photos! Can't get enough of pictures from my favorite vacation spot!:tink:

Wow, your pictures are so amazing! I can't wait to go in January! We are also staying in a 2 bedroom villa (bay lake view). I haven't read the whole thread yet, but I was wondering if we should request certain floors or rooms?

Thanks!:yay:

My DD could probably answer that question better than I can! DH and I are "just along for the ride"!!! :lmao: All I remember is that she requested a high floor; even number room. While you're doing research you might want to check out the DVC thread. There's a BLT thread with LOTS (almost to the point of a headache :rotfl2: :headache:) of information. Each room/floor information and it gets a little confusing but may help you out with a request. Please post photos when you return! Would love to see more! Between 4 of us, we probably took 2,500-3,000 pictures but still want to see more! It helps me "get through" until the next trip! :tink:

So I am looking at all of the pictures, but still can't decide - is the MK view worth it? It will be about $900 more for the week we are going. I will be taking a 1 and 4 year old. I plan on booking in the next few days and just can't decide!

Can't answer that question for you but we had a Bay Lake View in August and it was BEAUTIFUL! The views were magnificant...we could see the EPCOT ball; Tower of Terror; Downtown Disney (balloon ride) and even Mt. Everest. DGD's are 8 & 4 and they loved it. We were on the 10th floor and got our MK view waiting for the elevators! Also watched fireworks from The Top of the World one evening and that was an experience we'll never forget. The time we spent in our room was minimal ... when we returned to BLT for a mid-day break we usually "hit the pool area". While it would be nice to wake up to a MK view we just couldn't justify the extra expense for it. :tink:

Just remember that the Top of the World on BLT is for DVC members. But to each his (her) own. Personally, I wouldn't justify the extra expense of the MK view. Bay Lake view would be ok with me. But some people go to WDW and only visit the parks one or two days. The rest of their time is spent relaxing at the pool, or at DTD, etc. In this case, a MK view would be worth it. But if you are going to spend the days in the parks, I'd save the $$ and use that for souviners or food or maybe the Hoop de Do show.
Just my thoughts. But whatever you decide... your vacation will still be awesome!!

goodness - if the lifeguard is all decked out for skiing was anyone ever in the pool??? he looks so cold LOL

does anyone have video of the fireworks from their balcony or the top floor?

Thanks for posting all the great pics. Hubby and I are booking a studio and were worried about being cramped. Looks like we'll be find. After seeing these pics, I think the we're going to go with the lakeview studio in lieu of standard 1 br.

A few from last week, room was 8020-our best WDW room ever. Posted these on another thread so nothing new but figured I would put them here as well.

Been busy putting Christmas things away and haven't checked Disboards much the past few days. Yes ... 10th floor; room 8044. Was at the very end of hall toward CR...very private and while the walk to the elevator was a little long...we LOVED the location! :tink:

Well thanks-it was a great time.

Few more of kinda the same stuff:
