Hi. I'll be there for the D23 expo. August 12-17 at the Hyatt near Anaheim convention center. Can't wait!

My 13 year old son and I will be at the Hilton Anaheim from August 13 to the 17th. My conversation with my son, son do you really want to go to Disneyland in between the D23 convention with the crowds? His reply Dad we were there for Christmas week last year and saw the parks at capacity so bring on the crowds we can manage it ourselves. So off we go, got world of color reservations and everything is booked so lets start our planning 6 weeks from Thursday. WE are so excited to be able to go twice in a 8 month period.

Just bought plane tickets so it's really happening!!! Dates change slightly-moved to the 4-11 now, still at Springhill Suites Convention Center.

We're headed to DL on the 25th of August! Kind of a spur of the moment decision to go for my birthday on the 26th...fly down the morning of the 25th, spend two days in the parks, and fly back late on the 26th. I don't do heat well so it might be a bit nuts, but I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Park hours are updated to Aug 15th. Opening at 8! And, yes, they list the DL hours from 8 am to 11 am, but I would think that someone will fix it to 11pm or 12am.

My friend and I are headed down August 14-16 for a weekend get away & pop in to D23 one day. Her first time at DLR, but she has been to WDW multiple times. Excited!

one month from today! It's time to start figuring out my schedule a bit more-there for a week, so which days will be beach or days for DH to visit college friends, which will be park days. And just realized clock is ticking on photopass+-don't want to miss the discount window! With a week, also considering Knotts-haven't been there in years. Thoughts?

Everything is starting to come together! I purchased our photopass today and we have our budget all figured out. Ordered youngest DD a couple of princess dresses, and I've started making autograph books. I signed up for AAA last week so we have some piece of mind while driving the RV so far. Park hours are finally out! I'm a little bummed that DL is only open until 11:00 pm on our dates. I hope it changes but maybe it means they think the parks won't be quite so crowded. We're revealing the secret to our oldest at a local Disney Fan meet this Saturday and I can't wait to share our plans with her.

We arrive in the evening on 8/7, and will be there through the 12th. I ordered our PP+ on Friday, and will get our park tickets in a couple of weeks. DD7 has been planning which of her vast collection of princess costumes to bring, and we've got the Anna and Elsa Boutique booked. We're bringing a friend who's never been to DLR, so we're all pretty excited!

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked Knot's and the different rides and atmosphere there. It was cheap, not very crowded, and there were a good assortment of rides from coasters to kiddies rides. Plus it is super close and you can take ART if you won't have a car. I am almost wishing we chose Knot's again instead of Universal Studios for our next trip...

Hi everyone! We just booked our first trip to Disneyland! We are sandwhiching our stay with San Diego (where my sister lives) and Anaheim in the middle. We will be at Disneyland Aug. 11-13, we are staying at the Dessert Palms Inn.
