We're at 48 days until we arrive, 47 until DH and I start driving.

We have 50 more sleeps!!!This weekend, I switched from POP to the Caribbean Resort and it included Free Dining for the entire stay (Aug 19-30). So I had some Dining to Book! Had some juggling but got some great times and restaurants that we wanted. We are looking forward to Mickey’s BBQ! Because we arrive very late on Tuesday, we won’t need to use our credits and on the first Saturday, we have a “Special Frozen Event” hosted by our TA so that left us with two table service credits, one counter service credit and one snack credit that we needed to use up. We have 1900 ParkFare booked for breakfast on departure day.

Although the logistics of this trip has probably given me an ulcer, I am so beyond excited to go!

Only 43 more days till check-in! Then it's two weeks of relaxing with DH at Caribbean Beach and all that WDW has to offer. (Aug 11-22).

We are at 36 days!! It's going to go by so fast.

My kids are home this week, but next week go to my mom's for three days. They come home and we celebrate my DH and youngest DS's birthdays, then the kids go with their grandmother to Florida to the beach for a week, then they come home for a few days, then we leave for Disney. They start school the week after we get back.

Yes, I believe you need to do a split stay. You'd have to check put and check back in on the day free dining starts, then you'd have it for the rest of your stay. They try to keep you in the same room but no guarantee. Now with Magic Bands and all I don't know how complicated this can get. You should call and ask.

Seems so annoying. If there is a bounce back for next year I will persue and take advantage.......we are paid in full at this point.

Hi! We are actually driving this trip. My parents are taking the kids to Myrtle Beach first, so we are driving to MB and picking them up...then driving down to FL. Our return is tbd, as we might go to SW afterwards.

Sorry to miss you! Have a safe drive. Not liking all the recent-ish AT changes, so this may be our third and final trip via AT. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted!

Yup, I have a "ghost" FP+ for only 2 of us for the Mine Train in the evening on a day when all 3 of our "real" MK FP+ are for earlier.

I'm sure it's not real, because when I try to edit it, it disappears and I can't change or remove it. I really just want to remove it so I don't have to worry about it interfering with getting a 4th FP for our group. I figure if it's still showing up on MDE that day, I will talk to a CM and see what's up.

The funniest part is, we are a group of 4: 2 couples. The ghost FP is only for me and my friend's husband! So if it is real, I guess I'll be riding with him, leaving my husband and his wife behind We'll be spouse swapping!

Ha! Too funny. Yeah, our ghost FP+ is for DH, myself, and my eldest DD who will NOT ride ToT. I'm sure it's a glitch too but can't seem to get rid of it and afraid to play around too much for fear of disrupting something else. I guess we'll just see how it goes and check with a CM if we're looking to book a 4th FP+. Don't seem to be able to do that on our own anyway, and they are usually right there by the kiosks to help.

About BOG... when my friend was there in October, she totally shocked me by telling me this story: While at MK, a CM told her that a certain number of BOG ADRs are held for the same day. He instructed her to come to BOG right at park opening on a different day, and ask if they had any available reservations for that evening. The next day they went to MK for RD and did exactly what he said. Sure enough, they had a bunch of ADRs available and they got to pick the time they wanted for dinner. I couldn't believe it!

I don't know if this was a fluke, or if this happens regularly, but if you happen to be at MK for RD, you may want to try it!

We scored a BOG reservation!!!!! 8pm August 11th --- exactly the night we wanted it!!

I'm soooo thrilled!! I must have checked for a table 3 dozen times today...so much so that I almost didn't believe my eyes when it finally showed up!

I'm walking on air this evening!!!

Good Morning and Happy "We Go To Disney Next Month!" Day
(actually, I go later THIS month, yahoo! But I'm feeling more "August-ish" since we don't arrive til the 27th).

Heads Up: There's a Groupon for a "2014 Fun Card for Unlimited Admission Through December to SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa". It's 26% off, so $75 for a $101 value. Says it will be available for the next 13 days. Not sure whether this would be of use to anyone, but thought I'd post about it just in case. I'm keeping my eyes out for the Downtown Disney Balloon Ride (Characters in Flight, I think it's called). They have had them a few times but nothing yet....
